Well, I guess this new casting explains why Gracyn Shinyei (young Kate) and Ava Sleeth (young Beth) were on set filming together again. Most likely for flashbacks. I thought I would be pleased. But to bring Kate back now, only to deny her the Batwoman mantle, is really just more insults by the writers towards her character. Because they already made their choice to replace her with the OC. I don’t know why they hate her so much.

Erasing Kate Kane was a mistake. If the ratings for S2 prove anything, it’s that more people were interested in watching when the real Batwoman was on the show. Replacing her with some random OC was not the right way to go. Hopefully the producers realise this and can recast the Kate Kane role mid season and give the character back her mantle.

Poor Snowing, worrying their memory wiped grandson doesn’t think they’re cool. ”We can’t just sit back and do nothing.” Way to make it sound over dramatic.

I already know season 2 is gonna suck. Because choosing to replace Kate instead of simply recasting her just erases everything fans watched season 1 for and the reason they stayed with the show this long. Kate Kane is the only Batwoman. I just hope the producers realise that before making a terrible mistake.

And I’m just going to ignore anymore shade thrown at her by anyone. Bad enough the lies people already say about her on Twitter.

Jafar was a great villain in the spinoff. Such a shame that they totally wasted him on ouat.

I think the crows being corrupt is proof enough that Alice was right about them all along. And now Jacob and Sophie are beginning to realise it too. Soon so will Kate. Eventually everyone, including Alice, will have to work together to take down the real threat to Gotham. If that’s not a sign of her inevitable redemption I really don’t know what is.

I can see from the scene at the beginning with Kate and Beth’s mother, why Alice could eventually choose to take on the vigilante persona Red Alice, like in the comics. Possible arc for season 2, I hope.

This would all make so much more sense if Mouse’s father was actually the Scarecrow.

I’m glad that Kate and Jacob will finally get their chance to confront Cartwright over Beth’s abduction. They can hate Alice all they want. But that should be nothing compared to how they feel about him.
