  1. I don't buy that they will bring Chris back. ABC decided he should go, and they are not going to reverse themselves for this. (And it doesn't matter if we think Chris deserved to be fired or not. ABC has people who decide these things, and they have WAY more data than we do.) I don't think bringing him back will fix anything either. The show is tired, and the format as it is cannot withstand the onslaught of people who are more concerned with social media followers. I don't know how to fix that, but they need someone with fresh ideas to do something different with the format.
  2. Definitely. I'm as pro-boob as anyone, but Ariel has shown hints of a sharp brain and a dry sense of humor. I think she's saying the right things now, but ultimately I think Zach would bore her. If his conversation with Katherine on their one-on-one is normal for him, Ariel's going to have to be patient.
  3. True story, too. Doesn't end well for the bear.
  4. See, I would keep the women who play with the flamingos. As long as we still have Kaitlyn Bristow, it'll feel like Davia is still with us.
  5. I appreciate Ariel's tactical maneuvering.
  6. Trauma Bonding: Your First-Class Ticket to Rose City
  7. I think Big Brother has had more success in making lasting couples than The Bachelor. Survivor too, probably.
  8. Maybe, but it might be simpler -- she seemed drunk pretty much the entire episode.
  9. It's taken me forever, but I've identified Brooklyn: she's one joint away from being Ria from Chicks in the Office. Someone tell me when Jess is old enough to rent a car, so my crushing on her will feel a little less weird.
  10. Christina is a lot, but I think some of the others are really playing up the degree of her sins too. This franchise needs a thunderdome.
  11. I may be releasing my inner pig, but so am I
  12. It's "Aly and ME" goddamnit Sorry
  13. I think Christina might be super drunk
  14. The romance tonight is off the chain. "Is that a mastodon? Make a child with me." If only someone would break a clavicle on the group date.
  15. I kinda think the whole point of Tahjz's scene was just to give Zach the chance to show the group it was them he wanted, which made them all feel good about him. Production probably felt no more enthused about his ability to bond than we did, so they pulled this tired stunt QUICK. If it turned out he liked Tahjz and her Desperate Bad Bitch Energy, then they get more drama. Win-win, unless you're a viewer.
  16. I *think* access to the lead is controlled by production. There was a story last week where the Indian girl who licked his ear stopped the RC to chew them out about not letting so many of them talk to him.
  17. Yeah, he did great in the end. Once he realized he missed potty training and 3am feedings, the light seemed to dawn some... :)
  18. Vermont girls REPRESENT! I'll take word salad over whatever the hell that was from Brianna any time.
  19. Judging by the panic in Zach's eyes when he heard about the daughter, she might not make it out of next week.
  20. I kinda like Christina. She has enough personality for both of them. And she was a GREAT choice for this surprise huge family BBQ

  22. It's outside the purview of this forum, probably, but I would be interested in a discussion about the similarities between "cancel culture" (which would necessarily include a definition) and the simple exercise of the free market. When it comes to someone like CH, yes he's a human and a U.S. citizen and is free to engage in lots of different things. But he is (or was) also a commodity, so ABC firing him reads to me less like censorship and more like trying to avoid a boycott -- which is the engine of how free market capitalism works. But this probably isn't the right place. I am glad I didn't have a megaphone with a memory -- I don't know how teenagers exist in a social media world.
