  1. Did anyone else notice they were sweating buckets during the signature dish? Everyone seemed to have a severe case of head sweat. It was to the point of distracting.
  2. Is it me or do her feet look comically tiny in that ballet photo? Like a bad photoshop. Also her standing leg ankle looks like it's about to twist inward and snap. Ouch.
  3. Wouldn't there still be an issue getting out of the car? You'd have to host yourself up once either way.
  4. What's creepy to me is taking a photo while liplocked with your dad. It looks like a couple-in-love photo. That plus all the other behavior like putting a giant poster of her shirtless dad over her bed, and her habit of undressing, it all adds up to a weird sexual vibe.
  5. People who quit smoking often gain weight afterwards, but I think it's theorized that it has to do more with the habit of having something in your mouth. Nicotine does have a small effect on appetite though. Secret Eaters? I remember them laying out the whole table of food and people being surprised how bad it looked all together.
  6. Maybe it's just the dress instead of the usual leggings, but it does seem like she's lost a little weight in the Pickler and Ben segment (what a weird, awkward to say tv name though). Nowhere near the photoshoped selfie size, but smaller than Hawaii.
  7. The big issue I see is that they aren't acting very responsibly in regards to choosing activities appropriate for a 400 lb person. Good trainers know that high impact workout are very hard on joints, and it's exponentially risker if the person is a higher weight. Whitney's going to seriously injure a knee, and the Powell's are letting her continue despite the risk, which makes them look reckless/careless. So most reasonable people, looking for a skilled and careful trainer, may not want to work with them in the future. Of course Whit is an adult and can do what she wants, but a responsible trainer would tell her to either stick with low impact exercises like aqua-exercise, or to lose weight with diet first then begin working out. If a client insists on acting recklessly a good trainer would refuse to work with her.
  8. It looks like cellulite plus shadows. Cellulite is very common, but the bigger you are the more noticeable it can be. Standing in certain position can emphasize it too. I think it's just a really bad photo.
  9. Ignoring any weight change, what kind of low budget photo shoot is that second photo anyway? No hairstyling or make-up, a basic black tank top with a poorly fitted bra poking through, and a plain white wall that's cracking. The first one at least looks like she's trying for a glamour shot. The posing isn't great either, given her arms aren't the best feature to highlight. She really does need a better photographer. They can't change everything but it's amazing what can be done with the right tools. The hips/stomach stand out the most to me. She went from one large round curve to the "buttwings" we often see in My 600 lb Life patients.
  10. Someone seriously needs to broadcast the show "Secret Eaters" 24/7 nationwide. So many people claim they eat "the same as their skinny friend/healthy/normal" but have no idea why they can't lose weight. It's because it's so easy to lose track of what you eat and not realize it all adds up. You never see 100% of what your friend eats.
  11. While Whitney may legally be able to adopt, I can't think of a worse candidate outside of those with lengthy criminal records against kids. She has a horribly selfish personality, a history of ditching commitments, can't hold a steady job outside of a fastly fading reality show, is dependent on her parents/friends for basic hygiene, and is a ticking time bomb for serious health conditions. She's both mentally and physically unable to care for a child in a healthy manner. She can't even manage to care for pets at the moment, who in their right mind would advocate giving her a human baby? It's ok to admit some people would be bad parents. Adopting should be in the best interest of the child, not because a person wants one as an accessory for the attention and drama. She's the equivalent of those who buy rabbits/chicks for cute Easter photos then dump them when they get bored of caring for them. No kid deserves to go through that. We can't prevent bad parents who give birth, but we for sure should prevent bad adoptive parents. And that's not mentioning an eventual role as caretaker as we see the kids on My 600 Lb Life living.
  12. I can sort of understand the "I like you as a person but don't think we're compatible as a couple" angle, but if that's the case Buddy should have clarified it when they broke up like a mature adult.
  13. Whit and her barnacles are all old friends from high school if I remember correctly. Most people go off and make new friends in their adult life, learning new coping skills and such, but I would bet they all have some emotional stunting that keeps them together. Not saying that everyone who keeps close with old friends is that way, but given all their other behavior I would bet there's a connection/reason why they all never moved on.
  14. I don't know why they'd be cool with her posting these videos. As a trainer, it looks poorly on you if your client has terrible form and is going moves unsafe for their body. Anyone who wants a real workout isn't going to want a bad trainer, and there aren't nearly enough people like Whitney who don't care and just want to pay to say they have a trainer. Someone else said it earlier, but I think the issue is that Whitney wants both to be celebrated for doing any activity at her size, while still touting herself as a "professional dancer". She can't have it both ways. Either she's a dancer and her weight is not a major issue, or she's majorly disabled and we should celebrate any motor success.
  15. I don't know if anyone else looked at her IG but she posted a few other "workout" videos and literally my first thought was that it looked like what my toddler niece does. One is of her pushing a gliding sled across the floor, like a toddler learning to walk. The other is walking and bending over to touch the floor, like a kids first dance lesson on balance. That's somehow a workout worthy of video-ing and posting?
  16. I'm still holding onto the hope that the extended break-up drama is scripted, because if not Heather needs a whole lot more self respect for both her and her kids. Optimistically it's just drawn out because there's no other plot for this season and Heather needs a paycheck. And I'm putting $10 on the "adoption" idea being as permanent as her decision to convert to Judaism. She'll scandalize it to her family, make up some woe-is-me drama, then move on.
  17. I'm really hoping the adoption is just a storyline, because no kid deserves Whit for a (single) parent. And it would be so unethical to stick one with her when she can't even care for herself or her current cats.
  18. I also think Glenn and Babs want a "normal" daughter, and they hope that marriage and a kid will settle her down. However, as someone with crappy/selfish parents myself, I hope to heaven she never gets pregnant unless she has a major lifestyle/personality change. Kids should not be guinea pigs in the hope it makes the parents step up to the plate. Sadly many of them don't and it makes for a terrible childhood. Whit can't even care for her cats properly; I fear to think what a kid would go through. Too many people think of kids as accessories there for their parents amusement but they are mini-humans who you can royally screw up with terrible life choices and a selfish outlook. That's not directed at you btw, just Glenn/Babs/anyone who tries to treat kids as cute show objects to cast aside when bored or inconvenienced. But I also think her odds of getting pregnant are slim/none, so that's some relief. Between PCOS, being 400+ lbs, closing in on mid-30s, and having no regular partner it would be a miracle. And no way any responsible clinic would allow someone of her size to use them because it's a huge risk to both baby and mother to be that big. Many have cut offs at BMI 30-35, almost half her size. Not to mention limited mobility and ability to care for an infant. Some super large women have given birth but it's rare.
  19. With Donna's impressive race time I couldn't help but think it was partly from seeing Whitney's mass text calling for help and booking it out of there at Mach 1. Lol
  20. It is recommended for people to tell their doctor what supplements/vitamins they're taking, even basic ones. Most have no issues but some can interfere with some prescriptions so it's best to let the doctor know.
  21. This whole group dynamic is weird. If Buddy and Heather are planning on staying friends and part of the same circle, it would be nice if they could be mature adults and discuss it. Buddy has the right to leave and not say anything, but it's a crappy thing to do if he wants to remain friends. Heather, however, really needs to mature and either find a way to discuss it or cut him out of her social circle. If he refuses to talk then you need to let him go and stop obsessing.
  22. She looked like an oversized toddler instead of an adult women.
  23. I always though it was called body boarding to lay down and ride the wave in. Surfing is when you stand.
  24. A quote I once heard- "She's throwing every excuse at the dartboard and seeing which one sticks." It's a medical condition, mental soothing technique, starvation diet, beauty standards are bad, I found one study that refutes mainstream health guidelines, it's the government's fault, etc.
