  2. As we get older nostalgia creeps in, but teens want to be into what is currently hot. They are into The Jonas Brothers one year and by the next they have moved on.
  3. For someone who studied that big etiquette book Andrew didn’t even acknowledge the letter carrier much less thank him.
  4. Andrew lied so much people didn’t believe him when he told the truth. I remember an episode where he claimed to have been given the master bedroom as a child and was disbelieved. High school kids think a song that is two years old is ancient, so I doubt in 1987 they would be listening to Whip It at a party. It was from 1980. And by 1987 new wave as a genre was pretty much DOA, being replaced by hair bands like Poison and Bon Jovi. For dance music white kids were probably listening to Rick Astley then. It’s interesting that we have witnessed Andrew’s first meetings with all the victims except Miglin (the murder of Reese also being the first meeting). Miglin was shown at the party at Norman’s house, but they obviously knew each other already.
  5. The travel part of the show is a big factor, I don’t like them flying the subjects out to California. When the plot is dull It’s cool to be a voyeur of weird small towns and sketchy parts of bigger cities. And when they don’t use fake locations the decor can be amusing.
  6. After Gloria and Self Control, they have to work in Solitaire for the Laura Branigan trifecta.
  7. Antonio is almost 50 and Sylvie is still in her 20s. It’s just creepy.

  9. In real life the dog was a Dalmatian. I assume Printz came from the spots reminding David of fingerprints.
  10. Just saw Fern is getting a sizable role on House of Cards.
  11. Wasn’t the pregnancy an accident and then she guilted Nev into marrying her? And I don’t think either will age well. With the flared nostrils he reminds me of Lon Chaney in Phantom of the Opera and she has a ton of lines on her fivehead already.
  12. We don’t know what was said between Reese and AC, but if it was close to what was depicted maybe Reese mentioning his wife and kids backfired because AC was envious that he didn’t have similar close familial connections.
  13. Sometimes older people cling to a decor that was fashionable when they were younger. As seniors die off now, you can find tons of 60s and 70s stuff in “Antique” and resale shops.

  16. Judith Light did a great job on the Dallas reboot as well.
  17. Marilyn Miglin was all about surface. She remarried and talked her husband into having multiple cosmetic surgeries the same day. He died on the operating table. Reminds me of Kanye West’s mother. Duke Miglin did have a minor part in Air Force One. I remember reports at the time that Lee had a membership at Steamworks, a gay bathhouse. Maybe he met Andrew there. as some escorts use it rather than paying for a hotel room. It would certainly support his interest in men.
  18. Do you think Wifey knows Nev was expelled from college for punching a girl in the face?
  19. Can you become a surgeon online? If so, please learn how to perform a self-lobotomy.
  20. Sister: Elizabeth is such a go-getter. Yeah that’s why she works part time and for her dad. Chris sure looks like Brian Wilson. Molly’s hairdresser looks like if Weird Al were gay.
  21. Well if there is a second season, they will have to find a different location: http://www.chicagotribune.com/dining/restaurants/ct-mk-restaurant-closing-michael-kornick-20170606-story.html
  22. Do the writers not know the difference between Attorney General and Solicitor General? The SG is the top appellate lawyer for the Justice Department and argues cases for the government before SCOTUS. He wouldn't be showing up at crime scenes or deciding whether to prosecute and whether enough evidence exists to bring charges. Every time they address that guy as SG or refer to him that way it makes the whole show seem unrealistic. And yeah I know a lot of it requires suspension of disbelief, but they wouldn't call the President the Queen lol.
