  1. I don't understand her fashion choices post-Kanye. What is her goal? To be avant-garde? If so, taking risks means she has to take the criticism with the praise, or ignore all of it. Does she want to be some kind of fashion icon? If so, she is missing hard. Fashion icons tend to wear clothes that compliment their figure, not exxagerate them or make them look their clothes are made to mimic sausage casing. Then again, we're on here talking about what she's wearing, good or bad, so I guess at least one of her goal's is achieved.
  2. I'd imagine the show has a lot to do with her "businesswoman" title. Reality shows like soundbites and easy archetypes. The lonely, hardworking businesswoman of a certain age is one such archetype.
  3. I can't believe I felt romantic suspense watching a reality show, but I was captivated watching Lee ask Ericka out. I felt crushed for him when she said no. Kerry was more tolerable in this episode thanks to her date with Tripp. Warner and his blood, semen-soaked sheets, drug laden art is on some other shit. I would have been out of there after that, like "Um...I have to go to church. Fix it, Jesus!"
  4. I can't hear what it is that bugs so many people about her voice. Can someone explain please? Thanks!
  5. I know from a Lifetime movie perspective, this was pretty dull. But, I'm glad that in real life, most of the cast seemed to emerge from child actorhood relatively unscathed. The stories of the Danny Bonaduces and Dana Platos or even Lindsay Lohans of the world are tragic.
  6. I know attachment parenting is a hotly debated parenting style, but I have a question. It doesn't seem that it could possibly be good for a couple's relationship for them to not sleep together for years. I can even understand the two bedrooms - I hear some people say it helps them sleep better and strengthens their relationship. But, it seems like once Kourtney had her kids, she put little priority on her relationship with Scott. Now, with a third kid coming, that puts even more distance between them. I don't think Scott was just upset over the responsibility of having a third kid. He now has no one other than Kourtney and their children and Kourtney only seems interested in his sperm. A third child isn't going to improve things. I'm not saying I agree with his reaction, but I think it's larger than what it seems on the surface.
  7. I agree. It's not that the fighting itsef bothers me, it's that it's unproductive. Tamar walks away, they talk over each other, Towanda gets really in her feelings, Traci gets agressive. It's just tiring to watch the same fight repeatedly.
  8. This last episode was a return to the fun of season 1, well...after the fight. I'd forgotten what I liked about the show in the first place. I am not down for all this fighting and table smashing. And Towanda needs to have all the seats. I am just not here for her. They were hilarious with the 'Bob Marley' joint. Toni especially; it's nice to see her let go and relax every once in a while. Also, the guy at her concert that she pulled onstage was a straight fool. I giggled through the last half hour. More this; less fighting!
  9. I am truly fascinated by her face. Transfixed. I could spend way too long trying to figure out how much of it is makeup and how much of it is enhanced. And is that a Birkin bag she's holding?
  10. If you think about it, if they get married, it's not too much different from the arranged marriages of the past (and sometimes present). Mom set it up, mom gives man's (family) a dowry and both parties benefit from the arrangement. Falling in love is a hoped for bonus. I wonder if any goats or sheep were involved in the transaction.
  11. Wasn't it KJ both times? Called someone "dumbass" and said something "fucking" something?
  12. I found Asia's meltdown (yet another) hard to watch. Her mom puts her under so much stress. Asia is going to really resent her mother and rebel one day and her mom isn't going to know what hit her. That poor girl is in for a catalog of issues with such an overbearing, high-strung mother.
  13. Have these people learned nothing from The Bling Ring?
  14. I had the misfortune of catching Kim Kardashian West (they introduced her by her full "new" name) on The Today Show this morning. She's like a talking blowup doll. Dull, plastic-faced, with pat answers, vocal fry and a lazy tongue. She sounds like a 13-year old girl, yet she's a thirtysomething mother. I'm noticing more just how much she's destroyed her face and her personality - I do think she used to have one. She talked about her new game, wanting to have a second baby despite how difficult pregnancy is, and also Matt asked her how marriage changed her relationship (as though this isn't her third time doing this dance). I don't know how he kept a straight face. She also spoke of her new book, Selfish, named as such because as she said, "That's what selfies are, right?" There was no off-the-cuff laughter or light banter, it was a typical, perfunctory celebrity promotional appearance. I really try to not dislike this woman because I don't know her, but she represents so much I can't stand.
  15. Admittedly, I am a proponent of the legalization of marijuana for medicinal and recreational purposes. I think it's harmless and I know many people, including myself, whom are marijuana smokers (or they ingest or vaporize), unbeknownst to some because we behave atypically of the silly "lazy, laughing stoner" stereotypes tossed around. There's a reason why most tech startups in Silicon Valley don't drug test. They'd lose half their engineering and executive talent! I don't think Kris Jenner's idiocy is going to get in the way of marijuana legalization or more states permitting medicinal use. It's important for people to do their own research on the pros/cons of legalization and not rely on the Kardashians to inform them on proper use of anything. Scott's over-the-top drunken antics certainly aren't making alcohol look good. We saw him being an out-of-control asshole, seemingly unaware of the discomfort of those around him. Meanwhile, all we saw Kris and granny do is recline on a sofa, laughing every once in a while. If I knew nothing about either drug and watched this show, I'd conclude that alcohol makes people act like jerks (which Scott's done on multiple occassions), but that's a legal drug that we've seemed to embrace as a culture despite the fact that it has caused many, many problems for people.
  16. It's really not that big of a deal in California. As long as she's not reselling what she purchases or growing more than the allotted number of plants in her home, no one is interested.
  17. I've totally been to that doctor's office for a card, lol. She has ads plastered all over L.A for MM prescriptions, and has several other doctors on staff working for her, so she rarely needs to be there in person. But, Kris Kardashian isn't just any ol' person. They get people in and out of there so quickly with new cards and renewals, it's like a factory operation. They've got it down pat.
  18. I find this show uncomfortable to watch because it seems like we're privy to the breakdown of this family. The father is trying hard to assert himself with his controlling, high-strung wife who seems to be living vicariously through her (obviously) favorite daughter. The youngest child is neglected by her sister and her mother in favor of her sister. Even the mother's sister is telling her to dial it back and focus on the family. This is not entertaining.
  19. Yeah...that was bad. I'm just going to decide it was an unfortunate slip of the tongue because I am not prepared to have mental anguish over my shattered image of "Zach Morris."
  20. The baby will probably learn that smiling is sucking in your cheeks to emphasize your cheekbones while making kissy faces or with lips slightly parted as though breathing through the nose is difficult, while being sure never to let her eyes display any sort of emotion or thought.
  21. Mark Paul Gosselar stills looks very hot, but I couldn't decide how to feel about his demeanor tonight. He seemed a bit caustic. Mel B is fun, lively and looked great in that beautiful green color. Andy gave me belly laughs with his Screech impressions. This is one of the better episodes in a while, between all the cursing, fingerbanging and power bottom talk, this is destined for the greatest hits pile. Twitter seems to agree.
  22. I don't understand. Didn't they already surpass Kim's marriage to Kris H? Wasn't theirs 72 days?
  23. I listened to Silverchair in the late 90s when they had a couple of big hits. I haven't heard much from them in the US in years. Does anyone know if they've remained successful outside of the US?
