  1. The campaign of Riley Matthews is not responsible for anyone who thinks a horse is a unicorn, and more from Stephanie Cangro!
  2. The guy who made a fortune off of GoPro joins the Sharks as a guest investor and just will not shut up about his little camera business. Which, given the quality of this week's pitches, is probably just as well. Philip Michaels reports!
  3. "Lazy, lazy writing, and a total injustice to the amazing character of Diana." Preach.
  4. I talked about S01E11, "Roti," with the Sound On Sight gang: http://www.soundonsight.org/this-is-our-design-24-roti/
  5. @Dot, you're right. I'll update the piece. This is what happens when I can't read my own handwriting...
  6. "I have no idea what this means, and Google's not helping. So now I'm really curious." Someone on another thread said that all the ep titles this season have 16 letters total, because it's the 16th season. I apologize in advance for the sprain you're about to incur rolling your eyes. Kbilly: "in his own forceful way" heeeee hee hee, now I'm picturing Noah whirring around the top pole of the swingset like a propeller blade.
  7. Just so we can leave the two movies' thread for discussion of the movies, and talk about some of the media coverage/reviews etc. in a different spot. I'll start with this FB post from Tobin Mitnick (of H'burg), which is a nicely done consideration of what it was like to be on the "docu-series" as well as to work with QQM LLP.
  8. Just watched that ep yesterday, coincidentally, and it reminded me of this -- but this is much more Heavenly Creatures, IMO. In the Mothership version, Hallee Hirsh is just a straight-up li'l psycho. PS millennium, I mentioned Cropsey in my piece. Great documentary.
  9. I'm betting the "other" is at least half that one gross judge who keeps redirecting McCoy's verdicts (most infamously in the Lauren Ambrose/"Our Guys" case).
  10. @Fozzy, srsly. I'm totes Team Maria with that decision but when did we hear about it? Of course, I could very well have blocked it out.
  11. I'm pretty sure there was. Members of the SD Army were DMing it to each other, "allegedly."
  12. Well, then she owes him a major apology for the end of THE DEPARTED. Hee hee.
  13. Except that both her bustlines so far and a couple in her previous seasons were fugazi.
  14. "And that head of hair doesn't hurt." Except it does, as usual. Keratin, boyo. Get the knack.
  15. Well put. I like John Noble and he's doing the best he can with the character, but the character IS A FOOKIN' BAD GUY, writers. It doesn't make Crane/Katrina unsympathetic to cut ties with a "child" who's gone totally evil and whom they barely knew in the second place. It makes them unsympathetic to continue trying with the guy, at Abbie's/humanity's expense. I still love the show, but the stalling is becoming a problem. Why isn't Irving actively trying to get his soul back from Henry? Why is Jenny only in the episode to 1) steal something or 2) make eyes at Hawley? GET ON WITH IT, GUYS.
  16. OMG this comment section is better than both movies and the show combined. [settles in with popcorn and a glass of bourbon]
  17. "Also, is he Sampson what was so good damn special about his awful hair." I didn't use the screenshot for this reason, but it happens to illustrate an unfortunate thinness that the Bieb swirl may have been in part designed to hide. Or that he discovered too late.
  18. Even a fossil like me knows that. Shane would probably sniff that that's the point, but his writing is too lazy and broad to make that clear.
  19. And Logan in his caramel-colored leather midi coat. (But Ceretta's furry porkpie = best.)
  20. I got the sense she was also nervous that Victor was back?
