I thought I heard them tell Amy they'd see her on Christmas Day when they told her they wouldn't be joining her Christmas week. Then, later when it was just the 2 of them, they discussed going to her mom's too on Christmas Day.

I don’t think he’ll cut the grandchildren out of his life because of Z & T, but it will happen because he’ll have to make the effort to see them since they won’t be popping over at the farm frequently. Also, without the farm backdrop, it’ll be harder for Matt to orchestrate situations where he looks like super-grandpa, which are mostly about him, anyway.

I've also heard Dr. Lee make questionable comments to male patients, like that they have "sexy legs." No one would stand for a male dr. making those comments to a female patient and rightfully so.

In all honesty, Matt didn’t really do much with Jackson before that wasn’t all about himself.

Jenna’s also talked crap about Aden on social media. At the end of the day, she’s acting no better than her parents did, but just on a much larger stage.

Agreed, but I’d venture a guess that he’s unemployable because he can’t take direction and gets into fights. Not an excuse because I think he’s a gigantic, entitled asshole, but it’s probably just the reality of the situation.

Earlier in this thread I speculated that Jason had big feelings when he was little and his parents gave in because it was easier to appease him than to deal with his tantrums. As he and his feelings got even bigger, they got to be afraid of his wrath. And, here we are.

He is going to be a father who encourages Xavier to disrespect Kylen. She'll try to make rules and have preferences for how her son's raised and Jason will laugh and tell Xavier to do the opposite or that he doesn't have to listen to her. He'll also encourage Xavier not to listen to teachers and any other authority figure. Nothing will ever be Xavier's fault. He'll ruin his son the same way his parents ruined him.

I agree he was horrible in that episode. If I’m remembering correctly, he did acknowledge later that he was awful and apologized to Liz. I think he can be a moron, but I did appreciate his willingness to self-reflect and acknowledge that he was wrong. Those are things Amber doesn’t seem capable of.
