  1. I'm fairly certain Nobleman's circulation consists of the copies they gave away at their party.
  2. The similarity I now see is both Shannon and Kelly almost purposefully misinterpret their husbands' words and actions. Vicki's party outfit was the highlight of the episode. There's a naked truck stop hooker with Vicki's shoe print on her back. Where else did she find something so exceptionally unflattering?
  3. Folks, To paraphrase Lionel Richie, now that we've come to the end of our season, there's something we must type in a Mod note -- The rules of the forum have not changed: we follow the GLAAD guidelines therefore we refer to Jazz as a girl, regardless of what age she was or is; she is a transgender girl in the episode threads, keep the talk to that episode only (you can reference past episodes in this one; if you are writing in earlier threads, please do not reference things we learn in later episodes) if you find yourself wanting to talk about something not specific to the episode, please look for the appropriate thread; posters will find you there If someone really annoys you, please use the Ignore feature; your blood pressure will thank you Finally, let's remember we are discussing a reality TV show. Snark the show, not each other! @17wheatthins and @PrincessPurrsALot
  4. Folks, As always, let's focus on the show, not every possible related issue. We are not here to debate the experience of transgender people overall. We are talking about Jazz, one transgender teen girl who is featured on a reality TV show, her family and the experiences she and her TV friends share. Thanks, and happy posting!
  5. I saw that scene as Anne envisioning Arlene saying those words rather than that really being what Arlene was saying. Anne was seeing the life she hoped she could have with Arlene. That is when I woke the neighbor by laughing. I loved the way she said it. Also, the various "Desna wouldn't say cock" conversations were brilliant.
  6. MOD NOTE If you want to have a discussion with a particular poster, you can use the PM functionality. They can then choose to engage in that discussion or not. You can PM someone by hovering your mouse over their name. On the pop-up box, you will see an option to "Message." This is a thread for questions, answers and educational links. Feel free to post relevant links and other information. As always, let's keep it on topic.
  7. A reminder, PTV has a No Politics rule. Stated simply, we can discuss items that were brought up on the show. We do not delve into other political issues. As always, this is a television forum and we are discussing a reality TV show. On this episode Jazz is speaking with a commentator who can be polarizing. The Mods do not have early access to the show, so we do not know in advance exactly which topics will be discussed. We ask you to be mindful of keeping the discussion on topic and respectful. Happy posting! @17wheatthins and @PrincessPurrsALot
  8. Again, let's keep the thread to the episode and issues that we're discussed on the episode. If you feel the need to respond to something from this thread that belongs in questions, you can quote the posts here, then create a post in the appropriate thread. The quote will come with you. If you want to have a discussion with a particular poster, you can use the PM functionality. They can then choose to engage in that discussion or not. You can PM someone by hovering your mouse over their name. On the pop-up box, you will see an option to "Message." We are getting far off topic. Let's bring it in.
  9. Folks, A gentle reminder that this is a TV forum, not a place to debate the existence of transgender people. Please keep the discussion on the episode thread to things covered in the episode. We are allowing respectful discussion of the bathroom issue since it was covered on this episode. If your comment is not related directly to the show, you have a few choices: if there is a question you would like to ask, enter it in the questions thread; if it is about the family, use that thread; if it in no way directly relates to the show, you'll need to find somewhere other than here to have that debate. If you've made your point, move on. This includes stating your point and having others not agree with you. Repeating the point multiple times will not alter the agreement or disagreement. We will not all agree on every issue. Finally, remember sometimes the ignore feature really is your friend. If someone's posts always set you on edge, ignore them. Your blood pressure will thank you. Happy posting!
  10. Jazz helps a transgender pal who is bullied by her own mother. Meanwhile, Jeanette decides to attend a support group to discuss her concerns about Jazz's upcoming medical decisions; and Jazz hopes for a call from a boy she met at "Dating in the Dark."
  11. So you're in the thread and someone's posts are annoying you. They are not egregious. They just work your last nerve. What to do? Ignore the user! Primetimer offers an ignore feature that allows you to hide content from users you select. This will not hide posts that quote the ignored user, but otherwise they are gone from your feed. How can you do this? The easy way - You see a post from the user, hover your cursor over their user name. A pop-up box will magically appear. Click on "Ignore user." Presto-change! They are out of your feed! (The back button will return you to your place in the thread.) You can also do the more formal path if you cannot find a post from them or if you want to ignore multiple users: Go to the top of your screen and click on the down arrow next to your user name. Click on "Ignored Users". Type in the annoying person's name. Select your preferences; Ignore Posts, Messages or Signature (if you leave them unchecked it will automatically ignore all three) Click "Add User" and you will see a list of users you are currently ignoring. Return to the forum and have fun. If you see something that you REALLY think needs reporting please do so. We are here to make this experience a mostly pleasant one and we hope that you can afford us the same courtesy. If you need any help using this feature PM the Southern Charm forum Mod, @PrincessPurrsALot. Thanks and happy posting!
  12. That's a fine piece of kindling they built for Drogon to light.
  13. Folks, A reminder, this forum is about the I Am Jazz TV show. Feel free to discuss things as they relate to Jazz and other persons who appear on the show. Please do not speculate as to how other transgender persons behave or open up hypothetical situations that do not relate to Jazz, her family or her friends. We are not here to debate transgenderism. We are here to snark on a TV show. So let's stick to talking about Jazz, her Jazzisms and her general Jazziness. Thanks, and happy posting!
