I wish they'd show Ridge, like Babe the pig, missing his mom. Surely Stephanie's absence has some effect on him. Especially seeing Brooke fighting Rick's battle and bossing everyone around. At the very least, Ridge should really be head over heels for Brooke now.

Interesting theory. Didn't Geraldo insist that he had to sit down at a computer to come up with ideas? And am I remembering it correctly that he called it a "word processor", most likely in an attempt to be clever with the concept that it was not hooked up to the internet or capable of receiving communications?

I hope he's not. I used to love $Bill and Katie. Until $Bill and Brooke happened. Now I am not enjoying $Bill and Katie together at all. Irlandesa, thank you for posting the news about Linsey Godfrey. What a tough thing to happen to her, especially as a new mother. I can't imagine what they are going to do with the show right now. I'm thinking they might recast Hope quickly and move the focus back to her. Or depending on the availability of "Steffy"... So was Quinn driving the car? (Sorry, couldn't resit.)

Because everyone is used to doing what Stephanie told them to do. They are all lost without her. Since she passed away it is amazing that they can tie their own shoes. Good to see Brooke stepping up. (haha) And her armchair psychology approach to fixing her son is so much better than anything that Taylor could come up with. Go Brooke!

I agree with you about Ridge, but Amber did nearly kill him so I can understand why he hated her and always expressed it. I liked that he never forgave her for what she did and kept his contempt of her. RE Steffy and her "cha cha cha". I've always heard it as "chow chow chow" as in the old Purina Cat Chow commercials where they would repeatedly rewind the tape of the cat to make it look like it was dancing or something.

So you want to see 30 minutes of montages and 15 minutes of overhead location shots? ;D

I remember her. I searched for her and she did join here but hasn't visited since June. You could try to pm her. Of course she'd have to come back to see it. ETA: I just did a search on myself and it shows that I have not visited since June as well, so this info I'm finding is incorrect.

RE Celebrity Apprentice, I was sorry to see Sig fired. And sorry to see him lose his temper. What I got a kick out of were the DC-style intro shots of the Circle Line boats and that shot of that damned bird.

Has it been theorized that Trump and Geraldo hatched their little plan together? Geraldo would only be on the show if he could win, but he would act like a douche the entire time and no matter what Trump wouldn't fire him? At first Geraldo's actions riled the other contestants, but now everyone is resigned to his bad behavior and it's very tiresome.

I was surprised that Kate didn't get fired because of her ability to treat Geraldo like a child and thus exert control. Trump must not have found out about it until after he had already fired Sig. Then it became Kate's turn to get fired. The fix was in. (I'm not a Kate fan by any means, this is just how I saw it.)

I think the shooting part was fantasy and I don't think Rick's going to shoot anybody. But there is security footage of him wandering around with the gun outside of Eric's office, (let's call it what it is)(and Rick won't last as CEO for a year, either), so somebody might get shot with that gun by somebody else. Could be a possibility. And a chance for Charlie to get some screen time. :)

@tessaray, at the time the actress playing Bridget and RM had crazy mad chemistry and they had their own theme music. The show would play the theme from A Man And A Woman in their "romance" scenes. (You can hear it on youtube.) But they never actually hooked up. It was more an affair of the heart. At first Ridge was Bridget's father. For a few years. Then it turned out it was Eric. So then Ridge was Bridget's brother.* And she grew up. Then it turned out Ridge was a Marone. So since there was no blood between them, even though we saw them as family for years and years, they almost went for it. Almost. It was strange because it really worked with the actors. It was just so unbelievable that the show was going there, and that it even went as far as it did. So you can see that in a mirror story line, they could write Ridge to be Caroline's father. Wouldn't that burn Rick's biscuits? And $Bill's? And give our new heroine Caroline quite an angsty story? *Corrected from uncle to brother - who can keep this family tree straight? We know they can't.

Well, what do we know about Caroline's bio-dad? Did her moms go to a sperm bank? Could Ridge's sperm have been in that sperm bank? Could Ridge be Caroline's daddy?

So I had to ask myself, could I see myself "dating" the nephew of one of my former loves? Not really. Mostly because of age, I think. Aside from the age difference in Ridge and Caroline's relationship, there are a few other things I don't like about it. I think TK is dreadful. So I don't like seeing him paired with anybody. I actually think RM would be a better Ridge for Caroline. I think they would make a striking couple. I don't see the chemistry that many here rave about, nor do I see TK exhibiting any subtleties. He never looks like he is thinking. He is so blank. In scenes with Eric he actually came to life a bit, but I haven't seen him bring it with anyone else. I do love his scenes with $Bill though because $Bill keeps besting him. Go $Bill! And I really liked Caroline and Rick together. This Rick usually comes across as gay to me, but with Caroline he actually seemed like he could be in a straight relationship with her. Like she was the one he would switch teams for. Those two have chemistry together that I can see and I hate that it had to be messed up so early in their marriage. They were such an adorable couple. When he's with Maya he seems so effeminate and so gay. I just don't see what others here see in that coupling. And then there is just the fact that Ridge and Caroline's aunt were a couple, so even while they are not being incestuous, in an extended family kind of way it sure seems like they are doing something wrong. I hope when Brooke comes back she breaks up Caroline and Ridge, $Bill and Katie and Deacon and Quinn.

I had to laugh and think of your post when I watched today's travelogue. It took us from day to night, yet I think all the characters were still back at last Tuesday.

Small Wonder is now on Antenna TV, a channel on my cable. So for all you Charlie fans.....

His reaction look was priceless. I so want to see him react to being told about every single surprising thing that happens. Nope, not me. I may be the one, but I flove those overhead shots of the city. I take a breath and they relax me. I also like that they have been a part of the show for so long. It's a thing that's part of the show. I look forward to them. I also like the implication that they are in LA (!) not just in a house. It's so grand. I especially love when they go back and forth between LA and location shoots and they have map shots, and sometimes with animation. Yes! It's such a funny thing they do in movies and tv. On the other hand, the exterior establishing shots of the buildings don't do anything for me. What do I care what the pretend other side of the set looks like? Unless the actors are outside in a scene I see no reason. Just like I can't see the back of a chair when I look at the front of it, but I believe it exists, I don't need to see the exterior side of a wall when I see the interior side to believe that it exists. Yes, this is all pretend, but I don't need to think about the outer sides of the set walls. When I see those exterior shots of random buildings I find myself thinking about whether the outside and the insides match up, and they never do. The sets establish specific locations. That's enough for me. I mean, since you asked...
