And how horrible was it when Amber trapped Ridge and a recast Bridget in an old mine shaft, or some other giant hole in the ground, and watched via camera as they nearly froze to death as she tried to get a picture of them kissing. That didn't redeem the incestuousness of it, the story just became hideous in other respects. I think what killed the incestuous aspect was that Ridge and the recast had no chemistry, whereas Ridge and JFBridget had a lot of chem.

Thanks for posting that! That was a lot of fun. Besides the obvious, some of the best aspects for me were Lauren's reaction shots, HT still being the most beautiful woman on television, and the tv set on film - I love when anyone does that, whether the tv is actually playing or it's just a frame around a filmed image. (I also love maps that take up the whole screen and have a moving image across it, even if it's a dotted line, or when the camera pans from one spot to another, and yup, B&B does that too!) And wasn't Thorne beautiful? Too bad he finally had one line. I hated that pencil-necked Thorne, the one that sang all the time with Macy. I had to tune out for those years. They were the pits. It was always Sheila that would bring me back to the show. And when her story line would wrap up, I would eventually get so bored with the show that I would tune out until they'd bring back Sheila again. In fact, the reason I would tune in from time to time was to see if there was any indication that Sheila would be returning. Everyone mostly comments on the Forrester/Logan stories, but there were other stories other than Brooke and Stephanie fighting. Besides everything Sheila, I enjoyed all of Lauren's adventures on the show. (Times I didn't enjoy so much were when Jessica ate the show, when the show was about some girls living in an apartment, [one of them was an Asian girl named Michael], and Amber's twin - blech.) If the show had room for Lauren and Michael, (screw Fen), I'd love to see them move to LA and mingle. Although, Fen could be another loser suitor for Hope.

LOL! That's the "good" part of this! It is a mystery. The first thing I thought when she said she was preggo was, she wasn't using birth control? After the last fiasco you'd think she was on the pill, putting the condom on it herself and using her secret stash of the sponge! Every single time.

I feel like I'd be more interested if I thought that Hope will actually stay with Wyatt. Seeing her seem to finally choose between the two by telling Liam that she loves him but can't be with him and then going to be with Wyatt is the perfect solution for her - heart to one, body to the other. Of course it's not at all perfect for either of the guys. And seeing her with Wyatt was like watching her pat a puppy on the head. Wyatt is desperate for real love and he won't be getting any from Hope. Liam's getting what he gave and it doesn't taste good. But for any of this to really feel meaningful or tell an interesting story that they can really explore, this needs to last for months or years, not a day or two. I think I might just be latching onto a moment in time and wishing it was a story. Hope will be back with Liam in 10... 9... 8...7...

Today's scene with $Bill and Liam is why I can't ever hate $Bill, no matter how much of an asshole is is sometimes. I always enjoy the interaction between these two. I love when they have heartfelt scenes together the best.

I wonder. I was okay with her at first. Did she change or was it that we hadn't gotten to know her yet. I actually like Sad Waffles when he is not with her. Chickenhead is a psychological mess wether he is with her or not. So I'd rather see her with Chickenhead. Do you think that if she got back with Ollie that she'd be likeable again? I feel like she wouldn't be.

Well, to play devil's advocate here, now that summer's over and the kids are back in school, maybe there will be a shift away from the younger characters and back to business stories. They could have been doing that intentionally. And we have seen RidgePen working Caroline for her eye-hand coordination and ability to hold a pencil. I think it's odd that Brooke doesn't seem to have many lines these days. She just seems to listen and look puzzled.

I have been waiting to see some scenes of them working (or butting heads or falling back in love) together. Seems like something we would have been seeing, too. I wonder why they haven't actually shown any of this or even any repercussions or even had it mentioned in any conversations. It's like Brooke forgot where the FC building is. Too busy thinking about Deacon I guess. "WTF... maybe?" LOL.

This sounds like the plot to every episode of Three's Company - someone overhears something and jumps to the wrong conclusion. Hilary ensues. I did enjoy seeing Ridgepen mentoring/using Caroline. And thank goodness we're getting some fashion again. I hope we get a runway showing of this collaborated collection, regardless of what the repercussions may be.

Yes, Stephanie's mother Ann died. Definitely one for the best story arcs list. Betty White was magnificent in her role.

No matter what else Fred Willard does, I always and only see him as Martin Mulll's sidekick. That role defined him for me. @minirth - your art therapy scenario is delicious. I would welcome the addition of Taylor to that storyline and hope that Stinkbomb would fall back in love with her over Katie! And Steffy could come back to enjoy that too.

This should be fun. But isn't John also Jessica's father? Or does Eric have another brother? I thought he only had the one.
