  1. Yes! Lately the board is not being cleared, but tonight wasn’t due to the contestants’ play - it was Alex’s long asides! Aggravating. Tyler certainly calmed down the second half and made me nervous, but so happy Gilbert continues his streak. He’s everything I love in a contestant!
  2. Agreed. In this episode, I thought Rebecca was handling Kate’s eating very well - I’ve been in her shoes and this is the advice I’ve received from doctors. Keep it casual, say “we” instead of “you”, etc. (The grapefruit scene last season; I didn’t think she handled it well there). Jack’s focus on getting more exercise was also good, then he totally screwed it up by taking her for ice cream. You are NOT helping her, Jack. Also, find exercise that she likes, not football. And this goes beyond a good cop/bad cop thing...Jack is really not helping Kate at all. Kid Kevin breaks my heart, and no more so than in this scene. I was really hoping he’d wake up and realize his mom had laid down next to him. And the Rebecca’s “I know we had our moments - I feel it in my bones” - you can’t think of one example?? Kevin seemed ok with that answer but I wish she’d given him something concrete. Also - great looking for your glasses Randall...sort of in plain sight right there under the bed! Ha I was hoping we were going to see scenes that showed Jack as not-perfect, but it appears that they all still see him as perfect - Evan Rebecca. Well, that’s the most harmless portrayal of an alcoholic that I’ve ever seen, then (rolls eyes). He never had one bad consequence involving his kids? Excellent description of life with an alcoholic. I wish we could see some of this with Jack. We really don’t see his alcoholism hurting anyone except Rebecca in maybe one episode.
  3. Omg I feel like Eileen was sort of saying “hundert”, too. I’m glad Johnny won! For FJ I got Wilford Brimley/oatmeal/diabetes in my head and couldn’t think of anything else!
  4. I’m so disappointed LaKedra didn’t win. Arg! New champ seems okay though. It was a good game but I really wish LaKedra had won. Thought she would pull it out when she got FJ and wagered so much. That Will and Grace question was ridiculously easy. They named every cast member!
  5. I can't remember many WOC in the champion's seat - was very happy to see that. She dominated the entire game. Calmly!
  6. Curt. Hahahahaaha! That fantasy montage killed me. That could have been so wonderful for everyone, if it actually had turned out that way.
  7. And then just left without washing her hands! And went to prepare food!
  8. Wendi McLendon-Covey, and it's Reno 911. Seriously?

    Season 4 Talk

I don't have experience with PPD, but I do have experience with depression, and I think TER knocked it out of the park with how she portrayed this. I can see other shows having the actress crying hysterically all the time, and that wouldn't look as real as TER's performance did. Plus how she didn't get better immediately after taking medication. I was really impressed. Pops is nowhere near as mean to Bow as Ruby is! And they have showed (a few, but still) loving scenes between Bow and him. I can only think of one nice scene with Ruby and Bow (when she was giving birth, if I remember correctly).
  10. ME TOO! I didn't think he was sincere for one second. Which makes him really mean-spirited, in addition to smug and annoying. Goodbye.
  11. I actually laughed out loud at this episode - the Manuel comments from Luke (!) and Alex, and Phil's "What am I looking at here?" when he saw Cam in the caftan. I mean, just Cam's use of the words "caftan" and "muu muu" were hilarious. Yikes to Julie Bowen's plastic surgery though.
  12. Virgo was easy, and she also missed the It's a Wonderful Life DD! I mean come on.
  13. Ugh I was NOT prepared for that bodybag scene. Jeannette...you had no kids to take care of. What did you do for 20+ years if you didn't work? UO but I do not think Connor Jessup is a good actor. I think he overacts, and uses all the same facial expressions, etc that he did in Season 2.
  14. I think Clair was just taking out her anger on Gabrielle, simple as that. It was implied that these abuse situations tended to happen after she got in an arguemtn with her husband. And, I think her husband wasn't so much trying to save her as save HIS reputation. He made some comment like "do you know how much damage this will cause". hahahaa! yes.
  15. Pittsburgher here - YES, there were Friendly's restaurants in Pittsburgh at that time. Coke is called "pop" here. Yes the late 70s were difficult economic times for Pittsburgh - I think that is when the steel mills started to close, which put a lot of people out of work.
