  1. And you know this how? Her on the Iron Throne is the logical end of her story. Cersei will be the last person in history to sit on IT. This does say something about Iron Throne.
  2. No, but no pont in this discussion apparently. I love it I love tragedies and I am happy the show won't have conventional ending. Story that started with Ned's death should end this way. And I am happy GRRM and D&D stayed true to themselves.
  3. I would burn KL afrer what happens next episode. Fuck them all. She will have only one dragon left. Burn them all.
  4. I don't think he will murder her because of that. I think this will be set up for second dance of dragons. He will want to take the Throne after this. I think he will kill her in rushed decision and he will hate himsemlf for that.
  5. I disagree. I think it makes sense for Dany to burn KL and for Jon to be against
  6. I don't think the intention is to show Dany as bad guy or her death as some "fuck yeah" moment. It will be tragedy for everyone. Jon will be broken forever. I think something like Jon-Ygritte but on much bigger scale.
  7. Yeah. I think this is important. Fandom will be devided over this and we should respect every opinion. It's just a TV show after all.
  8. I have no problem with the way it was written. There is a reason why there were so many mad queen theories for years. Set up was there all along.
  9. I am the only one here who loves this ending lol. But I really do. I always wanted tragic ending for something this popular. For me it's brave to do this. Let the internet explode.
  10. That's what I meant. The story will end in complete tragedy. Even bigger than RW.
  11. So Daenerys will be thorin oakenshield of this story?
  12. Dragons never attacked at night. Some fans just convinced themselves that we had "pointless drama" at WF and not set up for the endgame.
  13. And I would really love GOT to be the first mainstream fantasy with unconventional ending. Death of NK this early could be good start. If I was writer of this show I would kill not only Dany and Tyrion, but Jaime, Cersei and Jon as well. Lol I don't think this will happen ofc, but I could see how deaths of all of them could be logical way to end their characters, and not to be sonething done only for shock value.
  14. The fact that power corrupts not only people who are already evil like Cersei, Euron, Tywin or LF, but it can corrupt even someone good who did great things is powerful message IMO. Iron Throne is GRRM's version of the Ring of Power. And at the end even Frodo was corrupted. Dany will never be villain. She did too many great things. But power was always important dilemma of her character. The story needs to resolve this in some way. Just like Tyrion's relationship with his family was important part of his characters. At the end both of them will be forced to choose who they really are.
  15. I think safe ending where Jon and Dany would rule together is much much worse than this. I want the show to be brave and controversial. Kill Dany. Why not? Let's not act like there weren't hints about this for seasons now. The first were in S4 in that scene with Selmy. She even wanted to burn Astapor and Yunkai in S6. Why burning KL is different? And yes it will hurt because deep down she is a good person that did so many great things, but that's why it could be great ending of the story.
  16. I think either Tyrion or Dany will die. Third big twist is coming.
  17. It also seems that Friki thinks Dorne will join Dany.
  18. Yeah, we saw how that works in the North and in Dorne. True, but still he would be better king than last 5 people who were on the IT.
  19. The context was thet Jaime can do good and bad things just like everyone else and that he won't just become hero. I think Cogman is already anticipating fan reaction when they realize that Jaime still loves Cersei, so that's why he said that.
  20. That's possible as well. Just like it is possible that she becomes even more power hungry now that she lost so much. I don't think she will ever be "mad", but I think this dilemma about power was always part of her character. I think both endings are possible. And I think it would be interesting to see how power corrupts even good people, not only claer villains like Cersei, LF, Tywin and so on. Iron Throne is GoT's version of Ring of Power IMO.
