  1. I liked the duets format, but what I do not like is the whittling down of half of the group to a certain number I feel they should hear all 24 perform and then pare down to 14. Pick the 14 best of the Top 24 not seven out of this group and seven out of that group. I have never have liked this premise. The one contestant that I liked and thought would be moving on was Layla. I hated the other "country" girl who went through, she was super nasally and tangy.
  2. I will not watch anytime she is one of the designers, I turned channel at about 15 minutes in. I find her to be self absorbed with contempt for the homeowners which for me does not make good TV. Doug also did not listen to what his team wanted, the color palette was the exact opposite.
  3. Sydney is too tall for Paul and the lift he attempted was awkward. She looks like she could snap him in half with ease. I guess I like Robert's choice best. Disappointed in the choice of Lex over the tapper because she felt she could help him more. How about you reward the really good dancers.
  4. Well she does have all those years of dance in her background as highlighted last week.
  5. She works for ABC. Nyle for the win.
  6. All the judges' performance time at the expense of the Season 15 contestants is exactly why Clay tweeted in January why he didn't like what the show had become as the shift was from the "kids" to the judges.
  7. Living a Miley Cyrus free life I won't be watching the knockouts.
  8. I personally don't like the tone of Allison's voice nor am I a fan of the oversinging that Christina pushes.
  9. I won't be watching next week since the winner is pre-determined and cannot stand to have to listen to Barrett another week. He was horrid last night.
  10. Barrett was flat throughout his song, are the judges deaf? I would vote through Jeffrey, Zach, Jordan and Maddie.
  11. I agree with you on the Korin being done, but I could not stand Tessanne and would not want a repeat.Glad that Jeffrey was safe, he is the one I want to hear.
  12. I have heard many renditions of Hallelujah and Jordan's is no where near the top of that list. Liked Jeffrey, think he has a beautiful voice. Thought the rest were boring and turned it off and went to bed when Barrett was up. I just don't get him, at all.
  13. I thought the house was gorgeous in person and it would have been pretty hard to restore a house that didn't have a roof for years and was on a tear down list.
  14. I too attended this open house and the master bedroom was fantastic. My favorite part is the turret. The house had no roof for years, check Wikipedia, and was stripped. They couldn't strip the trim from the second floor as there were no floors.
  15. I fell asleep last night before the end of the show but I did see Amy and could understand a word she was mumbling. There was no one that held my interest.
  16. I was bored, not anything I would pay for.
  17. I turned off the TV as soon as they said, "Edmound, you're out" because I knew what was coming and disgusted. Ashley is truly delusional in that she thinks she has "a gift" which she mentioned sharing. I have been plus sized and I wouldn't wear anything that she sent down the runway.
  18. So does anyone have the ultimate spoiler, aka the winner?
  19. I always thought runway shows were supposed to be over the top verging on the border of costume, not ready to wear. Seeing Candace's collection with none of her wood pieces is just sad.
  20. This and since when do they make their decisions based on just THE CHALLENGE? Ashley should have gone home. If there was no Tim Gunn save that they just didn't show us, then I get to watch something else next week on Thursday night.
  21. What was up with the huge montage of the battle rounds? I feel like this show is wasting my time because they show so little of what actually happened.
  22. I think his last design spoke for itself.
  23. I don't see anything wrong with either the article or what Tim said or did. The article states that one round in the work room takes between 4-4-1/2 hours and when not there he is watching them in the production room so he saw all the slacking that Swapnil was doing and for the last challenge when they brought in the models he didn't have a single piece for her to try on. I don't recall if we were shown how much time had passed, but if everyone else had something for a fitting and he didn't then that is telling of time wasting, IMO. If Swapnil was that good and wanted to be there than why didn't he just finish quickly and then go smoke his brains out. Tim may have even seen/heard the comment about shooting for the middle of the pack to be safe a few shows ago. Yes Tim is their mentor, but if what you are telling someone is falling on deaf ears, then I think he has a right to get frustrated. I know when I am trying to teach someone something and have to repeat the same instruction over and over again, I too lose it.
