This is such a niggly nitpick but, having watched the end scene three times now - I wish wardrobe had done a better job matching Felicity’s shirt to the one she wore in 1x03.

This is one thing that tickles me. Usually when a show ends the fandom dies off (or at least gets much smaller) but between specs on how the reset changed the past and the way they left the specifics of the afterlife wide open, we’re gonna get so much fic!

I am so very glad and grateful that she came back at all because she certainly wasn’t obligated to and it would have been a lesser finale without her. But seeing as she didn’t appear to be working when they shot the finale... this kind of made me go “huh.”

The big sigh SA gave when he finally hugged her after all this time. I felt that.

That was messy and rushed, too much of the reset was unexplained, I hate that they basically confirmed that Oliver didn’t pick up the phone once in S8 to call his wife and tell her their adult kids had time travelled to the present, and I still don’t know the point of those Oliver/Diggle flashbacks. But...the last 10 mins sold it for me. From the second Mia approaches Felicity right through to Oliver’s last line, I was tearing up.

I was expecting way more Oliver, at least in the flashbacks. (I’m not counting the long fight scene cause I just don’t care)

I need Felicity in these flashbacks stat!

Good they found William. Now forget about all the plot stuff and get to the character stuff please.

I don’t understand these Oliver and Diggle scenes. Did they actually happen? Or are they new and Oliver did not bring Felicity in as soon as he did before?

I’m glad they included William’s coming out scene. That was the best thing about season 8 (so far).

Are they legit not going to do a OTA segment?!

They included the “I know I’m not the love of your life” line. God, they must hate her.

MG said he really loved Jane the Virgin’s retrospective and was taking cues from it. I know this is a very different kind of show, but that one allowed the actors to actually say something instead of these quick, 5-second sound bites. This is frenetic to a fault.

I don't even know if this dialogue tease can be considered a spoiler because it's so short, but it looks like it's the last one we'll ever get. 😥

Hmmm...he was "abducted in his hometown of Central City." That implies that the reset didn't change the fact that he went to live with his grandparents. I'm assuming tonight there will be some indication that he wants to stay with Felicity going forward.
