  1. They're in the field but the way that it's written makes it sound like Rory/Rene "makes a move" after she's already been subdued and has promised to help them track down Prometheus. It's so confusingly written that it's hard to tell but jealous Oliver is still a possibility. "They meet up and Oliver instructs the dudes to attack Siren if she appears suspicious or about to betray Oliver. Siren tells Oliver that Prometheus threatened her and that she had no choice to which Oliver retorts that S.T.A.R Labs said she went willingly without any resistance. She says she can help track him down for them. Rory tries to make a move on her to the irritation of Oliver. They remind him that she's not our Laurel and he shouldn't play himself."
  2. Oh, I assumed Rory was "making a move" by attacking her, but if he's hitting on her and Oliver is irritated by it, that's so much worse. We didn't get any jealousy from Oliver over Billy, but we're getting it over Fake Laurel? I honestly don't know who the show is aimed at anymore. Even the most positive Olicity fans are starting to doubt the writers' plans, and this episode is going to sour the comic fans. It's going to be another BMD, where no one on either side is happy. Have they learned nothing?
  3. The original poster on Reddit just answered someone's comment about the woman in the last scene being Tina and he said "I never stated that." So either he's hedging his bets or we don't meet Tina yet. https://www.reddit.com/r/arrow/comments/5j0bw5/s05e10_who_are_you_episode_spoiler_summary/
  4. She might just have a sonic cry device, like Laurel and Evelyn?
  5. Whoever this person is, if you look at their past posts they revealed the exact lines of dialogue from the last three scenes of ep 9 (even the "Hi, Ollie.") Seems legit. Makes sense too that it would be Black Siren instead of the real Laurel (and WM did say that Felicity would be the most skeptical of Laurel's real identity). It sucks that they seem to be putting BS on a redemption arc (which will probably continue on Legends). KC is so much better when she's playing bad. Why even have her play other characters is the point is to find what's left of Laurel in each of them?
  6. Can someone post the source for this? Is it on Twitter or Tumblr?
  7. DC just announced a new all-female film called Gotham City Sirens. Margot Robbie is the only confirmed star so far, but maybe it's the reason Geoff Johns brought back KC? (Not that I think she'll be in the film, but maybe to raise awareness for the BC character?)
  8. I genuinely feel bad for O/L shippers. Not for the ones who sent death threats or for the guy who hosts the Flash podcast (who is in full on gloat mode on Twitter rn), but for the nice seeming ones who I follow who are truly convinced the real Laurel is back from the dead and here to stay. They are living for that clip CW released on the app. The backlash at the end of 510 isn't going to be pretty. They might be able to mitigate it a bit if the end of the episode shows BS immediately heading off to another show, but it's still going to be ugly. I'm at 50% Olicity reunites by season end, 90% Tina is the nuBC, 10% she's the new LI (the bones of the sides might stay similar, but there's no way they had dialogue written that far in advance. Plus, after what happened with KC, it just makes sense for them to chemistry test every actress in SA's age range. The show probably has two more seasons; a lot could happen with cast changes/studio notes that isn't part of their current plan.) But it's impossible to apply logic to these writers now. Most of the stuff people predicted over the hiatus that seemed way too pessimistic came true: the new LIs, the fact that they would both stick around longer than a couple of episodes, Baby Sara being erased by FP, Havenrock being glossed over, etc.
  9. Yup. I was at a con during S4 and when Katie talked about becoming BC, she didn't try to hide her surprise/displeasure that it didn't happen sooner. She talked about how before S2 the producers pulled her aside to let her know that CL would be taking the Canary mantle and she was like "um, excuse me?" (She then went on to say how she was grateful for the wait because it felt more earned when it happened blah blah blah.) I think the original intent was for KC to transition into a superhero role by S2, but her performance and chemistry with SA in S1 made TBTB ditch those plans and try CL instead. But KC made a bts stink and eventually got her way - and then did it again to get this new cross-show contract.
  10. You're right. Verified accounts have different notification options, including the ability to see only notifications from other verified account, from people you follow, or from a quality filter. Twitter recently released the last two options to the general public. It's easy to switch your notification settings back and forth so if he only wants to see replies from other famous people, he can set that to his default - and then just easily switch to seeing all replies when he wants to interact with the general audience.
  11. You're more hopeful than I am. I don't think it was foreshadowing as much as shipper baiting. As sweet as the flashback was, it was all about S1 Olicity, not S5. We got zero hopeful scenes in the present. Not even a crumb. And Felicity looked so wrecked I can't imagine she can even think about romance in the next 4-5 episodes, even if she wasn't truly in love with Billy. Maybe they'll reunite at the end of this season, but will we even care by then? I seriously think people are going to look back at this season and marvel at why a show was so determined to alienate a huge portion of their fanbase - and how they managed to do it in so few episodes. This extreme hard pivot away from the relationships and characterizations fans loved should be taught as 'what not to do' in screenwriting courses.
  12. You might be on to something with thinking he wishes they'd stop watching. I've certainly seen Olicity fans be vocal and tweeting him about their dissatisfaction this season but (from what I've seen) it's been much more civil than the abuse he was getting after killing off Laurel. I wonder if he was mandated by TPTB to end Olicity, and he and the writers are trying to drive away that fandom because they don't want to give them false hope and/or deal with their complaints for the rest of the series? Because honestly, I can't figure out another reason why there's been such a hard pivot away from that relationship and such a sudden and vicious turn against that fan base.
  13. Oof. MG is at it again. First he gave an interview to TV Line in which he said: Then he replied in the affirmative to someone on Twitter who made the grossly reductive claim that most Olicity fans only dislike S5 because of its lack of Olicity and Felicity focus. And to top it all off, he then replied to someone who made a very valid point about how the term shipper now seems like a coded word for lady fan shaming by saying we need to focus on what matters, which is not a TV show but the state of the republic. It's just awful, especially on the eve of the 100 episode. It's fine if the writers are done with Olicity, but the constant kicking of that part of the fandom when they are down is mind-boggling, especially on the heels of two seasons of building them up. Their attitude towards shippers is giving me whiplash. And both MG and SA can shove their "it's just a TV show" talk. My passion about a show does not negate or overshadow my passion about world events. I can hold multiple thoughts in my tiny lady head at once, sirs.
  14. I finally watched the con video and it's worse than just reading his response. He's so flippant! Saying it's just a TV show immediately implies that fans can't distinguish between fiction and reality. Not cool, especially since he's addressing a roomful of people who passionately support said show and spent hundreds to be there. And then to throw in "you can't always get what you want"? Uh, when it comes to TV, you kinda can. We're in the era of peak TV -- I've never been more brutal when it comes to cutting shows because there is so much other good stuff out there to watch. If a show isn't consistently entertaining me, I drop it. I'm sticking with Arrow until the winter finale to see if it turns things around, but that's just out of a weird sense of loyalty. I'd never usually give a series this much rope...
