I still hate that they're acting like Vince was the only person Laurel murdered. She was prancing around as a villain for years, but the whole forced/rushed redemption arc is making it seem like she made one or two mistakes. Do better, Arrow.
-
Right? I was on Laurel's side during Quentin's whole, "Let me kidnap you and take you to a cabin and make you be my daughter" thing last season. I didn't blame her for not wanting to be "good" after that. I'd want to be as far from my doppelganger as possible if someone was trying to make me be her.
-
I wish Dinah had stayed in her BC costume and Laurel had broken out the BS one for this. Just to be completely ridiculous.
-
I don't care either way. I just don't. And I know Arrow wants me to. DON'T EVEN PUT THAT OUT IN THE UNIVERSE!

Ugh, I was hoping the Emiko FBs were only going to be in the beginning of the episode. Although I don't hate this kid.
-
"Which doesn't mean she's bad." Felicity's inviting Emiko over for dinner.

"Returned home" - shot of Oliver and Felicity LOVE IT

Here's hoping I only want Rene and Dinah to shut up five times between the two of them.

I will always take CD on the show any way I can get him. They could bring Tommy back to life, no side effects, and I’d have no complaints. Also, I think CD was supposed to be at the con today but that changed because of his production schedule? When I first saw the tweet, I hoped it was Arrow-related. -
I volunteer Rene and/or Dinah. Rene could easily turn on the others/Star City/anyone who’s not himself (again). Dinah’s just ... odd ... in the future. I think it wouldn’t be so bad if she didn’t pretend she didn’t want to trust William because he’s Oliver’s son and she wasn’t telling everyone she ran into that Felicity was totally evil, but she did. And then acted like she didn’t, even before the reunion with Felicity.

I am all for Felicity bringing in Alena for Smoak Tech — especially since the best part is NO CURTIS! (Although I hate that Alena ended up at Tech Village. Why is it that the masks never have to take those horrible jobs?) -

I find it more believable that Mia — who was trained by Nyssa and is a really good cage fighter — can take out a room of guards on her own than old Roy (who's been on an island for who knows how many years, with only trees for opponents probably) and Dinah can go around fighting, flipping and jumping down from ceilings/superhero posing unnecessarily. -

At least the promo and press release sort of line up. If you looked at the photos and read the press release, you probably wouldn't be able to tell they're for the same episode without the title/number attached. Obviously it all depends on when the photographer is on set, but still. -
He probably doesn't know either. No, but in all seriousness, I think he's good but pretending to be bad.

I have to say I'm really enjoying this "Oliver and Felicity are a team within the team" feeling that 715 gave me and these pics from 717 give me: -

Please let Alena also know about the pregnancy. I know that they've made it a point that they had to keep Mia secret, but I really do just enjoy Dinah and Rene being left out of the loop and would laugh if every episode, we learn another person knew about Mia. (714/715 Diggle, 716 - Nyssa, 717 - Alena, 718 - Sara?) -
You know what I couldn't help but think throughout this episode? Once again, it looks like Felicity was all alone while everyone else was, in a way, together, like the beginning of the season. Since Felicity was keeping Mia a secret, I doubt she had any real close friends. She had Nyssa when she visited, probably, and presumably Diggle, depending on what he's up to/how often they could talk. Meanwhile, there's a whole Canary Network in Star City and Rene is thriving as mayor. I hope it's intentional. I just wish that the show would acknowledge that Rene and Dinah (and Curtis) aren't these great people just because they wear masks. They have flaws. We've seen them. Stop just ignoring them! Dinah was practically ready to put up a billboard and pay money for TV spots declaring Felicity evil and dead at the beginning of the flashforwards.

Best line of the episode. Also, I have to say that I love that in the future, Felicity's still wearing her wedding ring. Makes me think that we may will see Oliver again. Don't know why that does, but it does.
-
I don't even know if she goes to Star City all that often? Didn't Mia say something about her actually going into the office and it sounded like Felicity basically just works from home? Which, yeah, it's possible to do, but generally not when you run a company. Unless she goes into SC until she gets Smoak Tech up and running and then just ... stops? SO CONFUSED.

Loved every single scene with Felicity. Loved her reunion with William. Loved the Felicity/Mia scenes. Basically just loved Mom Felicity. Liked seeing Nyssa train Mia. Really don't like how they keep being vague about Oliver. I swear it seems like every episode, they switch between past tense and some sort of present tense that suggests that he may just be "gone" (aka he disappeared instead of Barry?) instead of dead? Is it wrong that I enjoy that they keep revealing people who knew about Mia (Laurel, Diggle, Nyssa) while Dinah, Rene, and Zoe were in the dark? Definitely thinking we're going to find out Thea put Roy into a LP and he exiled himself to Lian Yu because of the blood lust. So Felicity created Archer in 2019, and at some point in the future, presumably at some point post COIE/Oliver's disappearance, the bad guys get their hands on it, and that's when Felicity really starts being Overwatch again/becomes the Calculator? Did we get a timeline for Galaxy/the evil corporation becoming a big thing in the Glades?

You know, if this Kevin guy tosses Rene and Dinah and the entire Canary Network into this cell, I won't hate him as much.

Felicity! (So glad that the reveal didn't come at the end of the episode.)
