You know what I wonder? If Oliver is outed as GA (and that wasn't a lie about S6), is he going to reveal he was also the Hood and the Arrow or let the public continue to think Roy was the Arrow and is dead? Since I don't think Colton Haynes is returning to the show anytime soon, I feel like they might just ignore/forget about that.

The public/SCPD's opinions on vigilantes is all dependent on what they need it to be for that episode/arc/season. If they want everyone to be all for the GA so Oliver can be outed and they can keep moving forward without too many consequences, they'll throw him a parade. If they want to deal with hate towards him for being the GA, they'll have protests or something. And for all we know, they may even have everyone's opinions about vigilantes be different for each team member, if everyone's identities are outed. Sadly, that's the nature of the show.

This is true. I just hope this is something that's discussed in the writers' room and the focus isn't on Oliver being outed. After all, he didn't seem to think about anyone else on the team last season when Susan found out. Which was so stupid. Let's hope that kind of stupidity doesn't continue.

I think it can. What I don't think the show can do (well) is handle the immediate aftermath of him being outed. There would have to be a time jump, so a season finale or even midseason finale. Maybe even the penultimate episode of the season with the finale beginning to deal with the immediate aftermath and then we get the summer time jump. So if they want to say that Oliver found out he's been outed as the GA upon returning from the island and the S6 premiere shows the immediate aftermath in some flashbacks, that might work.

All I know is if Susan comes back, I don't want to hear anyone say she's a "good person" or "good reporter," whether it's on-screen or in interviews. And nothing that even comes close to Oliver defending her. (Though since he and Felicity will be together, I don't see that happening? But still. Sometimes I'm not so sure with these writers.) You know, I'd rather see the PI she hired than see Susan. Have the PI show up and threaten to out Oliver using the information Susan had him gather. Have Oliver realize just how serious it was that Susan found out who he is because she had someone else digging into his life, meaning she wasn't the only person who knew and it is a threat, despite what he said in S5. Also, since hopefully Oliver won't be as stupid as he was in S5, he'll realize that this affects the entire team and not just him and therefore it's not really up to him to go "oh, it's fine that X knows about me, no big deal."

Yep. I thought I'd hate the proposal in 409, but I didn't. What I didn't like was in 413 when, after finding out that Malcolm knew about William and then chopping off Malcolm's hand, Oliver, instead of telling Felicity about his son, decided to tell her he wanted to get married sooner rather than later. Because of the way they wrote the BMD from the moment Oliver found out until Felicity did - they clearly wanted Oliver to have a son, but didn't want to actually write the relationship or anything having to do with the kid, hence only one line about Oliver going back and forth to CC without actually considering or caring to ever address the fact that that meant he was lying to Felicity whenever he went to see William, and how often that was was also unclear - I never actually felt like Oliver wanted to tell her so badly it was bothering him.

Don't even suggest that as a joke. Don't put it out there in the universe. Next thing we know, the four-part crossover will be all about saving William after he's kidnapped. Again. And maybe taken to another Earth or something. (But don't worry, he still won't be told not to talk to strangers so it can happen in the spring/another season again.)

This annoyed me so much. I know that even though they're in the same universe, they're different shows and different writers and all that, but every time any time was spent on Susan and any time she was called a "good reporter" (and even mentioned in interviews) I couldn't help but wish that The Flash spent half that time on Iris' career or somehow been given all that time, if Arrow refused to do anything else with that time except spend it on Susan, to use on a storyline for Iris. Completely irrational, I know. But still. I worry that season 4 may start with something good for Iris in terms of a storyline and then just drop it as soon as Barry's back. Or Thea will be stuck with babysitting duty. I could see that happening. "Oh, Thea would have loved to help, but she has to help William color."

You know what? I'm sure you'll get a new bench (even if it's not this one) before there's a second hospital room in the Arrowverse.

Anything about WH's episode count? I'd rather know that going into the season than find it out mid-season like we did in season 5. I had been hoping for something good for Thea in season 6 after what happened in season 5.

I hope this means that they've realized they can have their main couple together and keep them together. Look at Bones. Did it with Booth & Brennan for years. NCIS: LA is doing that with Kensi and Deeks right now. Romance can be done right (and not take over a show), and when it is, it makes the shows that come up with stupid drama for their couples look bad.

I think it's more likely that the show will never mention Billy again, so if Oliver is outed as GA, it won't be an issue. It'll be like how vigilantes were so bad, Roy faked his own death and has to stay dead, but Laurel's killed and revealed to be BC and gets a statue. It'll be whatever they need for plot, and since Oliver can't spend years in prison, it'll be no big deal that he killed people the public knows about.

I just don't want them to rush through whatever happens between Barry and Iris in the 7ish episodes before the crossover just so they can get married in the crossover if the plan is to have the wedding then, you know?

William, on the street with Oliver, in front of reporters and half the SCPD: "Dad, are you going to go be the Green Arrow now?" William, at school for show & tell, takes out a few arrows: "these are my dad's" William, drawing a picture of his family at school, draws everyone suited up and labels them "dad," "aunt Thea," "uncle Dig," etc.

I'm not. They're not going anywhere. They'll be around until the end. But if either of them ever die, I expect multiple memorials and at least two seasons of grieving, "what would X do," etc.

I think I like it? Or at least I don't hate it. (Other than the gloves. Why? Who thought those were a good idea?)

I'll be impressed if we haven't figured out who lives/dies/injuries/etc. once filming begins/with SDCC/etc. How many episodes will they have filmed by the premiere? It'll probably get worse with Black Siren around more as they compare the Laurels.

There are just moments that would make the heroes look so much smarter with just a phone call to another team or hey, even a mention of "tried to call X to help, but busy" (but that's also the problem with having to draw things out for 23 episodes). Like in the case of the Arrow finale. If Oliver had mentioned that he tried to reach out to the other teams before deciding, "hey, villains, that's the way to go!" it would have been so much better. (All they would have had to do is cut out one "My son!" to fit it in too.) I don't know. Maybe it's just me. Just give me a mention here and there over the year that these people talk to each other. It doesn't even have to be shown. That can be accomplished with a couple lines of dialogue. But I'd also need a good reason why the Legends would take a break for Barry and Iris' wedding, if that ends up happening during the crossover. Are any of them particularly close with them? Not that I can think of. It'll probably also depend on what's going on at the time. If there's a lull in the action, fine. But if the Legends are in the middle of something and they just sort of wrap it up as fast as they can so they're available for the crossover...

I'm against a wedding for the crossover if they use that as the reason why everyone's in the same place at the same time for whatever crisis happens at that point that needs all four (assuming that they are actually going to include Supergirl in the crossover more) teams. Then they'd expect fans to be okay with the fact that these teams can't talk to each other outside of crossover time but the Legends can just take a break from traveling through time and everyone from Supergirl can pop in from another universe for a wedding? I might not hate it if they decide to throw an impromptu wedding at crossover time because everyone's in town for another reason and they're just taking advantage of having everyone in the same place.

From the screenrant article linked above: 1) Wasn't Laurel's costume already on display with the others? Or did they move it by the end of last season and I forgot? 2) Wasn't the lair already basically fixed up by the time Oliver left for the island in 522? Did I forget something else? I didn't think the team needed a new base (other than for obvious reasons, like its location being the worst kept secret/its security being a joke).

It's probably too much to hope that Black Siren breaks in and destroys this memorial like she did the statue so it's not around for long, right? Maybe we'll just see it in the premiere, with Dinah standing in front of it (maybe with Oliver or Lance with her) and looking at it before going to where her own mannequin will now be with the others, and that's the only time we see it? (Again, probably too much to hope for.)

Don't ever mention pictures when Laurel is the conversation topic. They might decide to blow up that photo, frame it and hang it in the middle of the bunker next.

Okay, this is getting ridiculous. If not for her name, I'm pretty sure no one would remember her on the show. Why is this necessary? (It's not.) Why not focus on the characters who are still alive?

You know, the thing about any possible redemption arc for Black Siren is that looking at what would come next after that, it's not just about Oliver. Say he decides he's okay with working with her because of... some reason they come up with. That doesn't mean the others will be. And I'm hoping they've gotten to the point on this show that MG/WM/etc. realize that.

But how would they do that after she sided with the man who kidnapped Oliver's son, who the show wants us to think is the most important person ever and because of whom, everyone else ceases to exist, even when they're also in trouble? "Oh, you helped the man who kidnapped MY SON!! but no big deal, welcome to the team?" Maybe it was a debate because they knew that they wouldn't be able to do a redemption arc is she sided with Chase? (That might be wishful thinking on my part.)
