mishap

Hated the stylist. Meghan could hardly walk. They were all awful, imo. And they all looked better at the luncheon. Maybe they took some of the stylists advice and made it suit them better. They seemed more comfortable, even if they were spanxed to the max. lol And did Vanessa say Meghan was not happy for her and her weight loss? I barely pay attention to some parts of this show and I’ve heard her congratulate her, and seemed genuine. Probably just more producer driven drama.

No mistakes were made, or the restaurant not researched thoroughly enough. I doubt Scott made the plans. All these types of things are producer driven. Maybe the cast members have an idea or suggestion. But the producers take over and make sure we have them doing crazy stuff. Wasn't Meghan right about taking the skin off the chicken? I know that Vanessa was also right -fried is fried - but taking the skin off would have helped a lot. But maybe that is covered in their pre and post op diets - no fried anything, even chicken with the skin off. But in any cast, Vanessa could have let someone else finish a sentence. They could have left, they could have asked if there was any way to get some grilled or baked chicken, or some kind of protein, and asked if they could get some veggies without all the butter, etc. And if not , then you can politely leave because not everyone in your party can find something to eat. Who I like and don't like really shifts on this show, moment to moment. I just get annoyed with the producer driven drama. I felt like them cooking at the cabin was probably more real. Too many cooks in the kitchen, can be very annoying. But sheesh, if you don't like something you don't have to eat it or choke it down, to not be rude. I think it was a genuine question, like what is missing from the meatballs, not just someone saying that these meatballs suck. lol . I think Ashley thought something probably got left out. Well it doesn't matter but these big emotional blow ups over the silliest little things, is over done on this show and the other one, 1000 lb sisters. I missed it where Meghan wants another surgery. I have seen her episode of Too Large and she has come a long way, but still has a long way to go. Has she talked to Dr Procter, and does she have a goal, or is she just talking about it? I don't know when she had her first surgery, but her Too Large episode aired in 2021. Seems a little too soon to be asking for a revision. Maybe that is more common than I think. Even though both the shows I watch has had a repeat surgery.

String cheese seems like such an odd thing over which to lose control.

The farting and crude humor has over stayed it's welcome, as far as I'm concerned. I know it is their personality and I never minded it at first but I think they think that is why people watch the show. Their jokes are tired. Yeah, spotted dick , ha ha ha, oh and there's cream. I am just tired of the obvious and overdone attempts at humor. Why was Amy so upset at that Mayflower place? I know the steps were hard for Tammy. But Tammy is able to say no and opt out. We've seen that before. I don't know what kind of laws there for for accommodating the handicapped in England. Some of the old buildings might be exempt from being handicapped accessible? I do not know. But I think Amy was on the verge of making a scene about it, and that is why they told her to hush. They should have let her go. She is not a child. I thought they had a thread for the 1000 lb Best friend show. I can't find it anymore. But anyway, it reminded me of the time when they went on a glamping trip and the one lady had to run around outside naked, and another was so embarrassed. I thought that was awful behavior and I do not blame the other lady for being upset. There are other people staying there who might not be thrilled to see a 400 something pound naked lady running around. I guess my point is, that I understand if someone else's behavior can be embarrassing when you are with them. It does reflect on you to a point. People should be themselves and not be afraid of that but also, in public places you need to have some consideration for other people.

Tammy is wearisome. Anytime the answer is not what she wants to hear, she shuts down. I am sure a lot of this drama is producer driven. But Tammy just sitting in the van and not even saying good bye to Amanda was pretty ridiculous. Well maybe she did and they didn't show it. I wondered if she really put the window up when she was asked to come out and say a prayer with her family, or if that was some creative editing. Because if she really wants to be that nasty, then she should not have bothered to come. She would get no points from me from showing up, not when she is showing up just to be rude. No Chris, you do not have to go, just because Tammy is mad and said so. I wish he would have told her that. I know Tammy eventually said he didn't have to leave but just that he even considered it, bothered me. He does a lot for her and all his family and he is allowed to put himself first. Oh Amy, wearing slides to a 5K walk. Come on now. I guess she finished but she would do herself a favor by wearing some decent footwear, appropriate for what she is doing.

I fully expect that movie and show adaptations of books will have differences from the book. But there were so many changes that are hard to understand why they are necessary. I was not expecting to love this. I didn’t love the book either. But I thought this was bad.

i didn't realize this was the last season but I sure had my suspicions after the most recent episode. lol Oh Ben will get to be a Dr. again. They have been all over the place with him, making it seem like that Testosterone was some dangerous drug. And I don't know that much about it but i thought when he told Miranda, she would be clear about any side effects and risks. But it appears there are none. lol Ben has always annoyed me. I don't see why they needed to kill off Maya but i suppose it makes for better drama on Greys, to see Karina struggle , or maybe she won't be allowed to adopt or something.

I wonder if Gerry and Theresa agreed to the marriage and everything, just to take advantage of the attention, the honeymoon, etc. I find it hard to believe that 2 adults with that much life experience would not realize that real life, outside of the bachelor bubble is totally different. Just theory -- maybe they said, let's take what they are offering, have some fun. And if it works out, great but if not, we'll go our separate ways. No harm, no foul. And I also wonder how much it affects them when they read forums like this and other social media. We are not kind to them, when we voice our opinions. That is not a criticism, that is what this is for. And why most people experiencing any type of fame or attention are told to not read this type of thing, not to engage. But I know if it was me, I would take a look. We can be brutal, but these forums are for fun and we can be honest and snarky all we want. I just wonder if they think a little differently after reading some of the opinions of others.

i am re watching, so I am caught up , when i start season 3. I really was not paying much attention the first time through because I even questioned if i had watched the second season at all. But anyway, i thought they would have Mitch get covid and then Alex would have to decide if she comes clean and tells everyone she was exposed. I really thought they would go that way, when she drank from his water bottle. Well that might come up later -- i have not finished the re watch of the second season yet.

I knew there would be cringe, but they out did themselves. I am not sure why I watched this. I firmly believe everything in Bachelor Nation is fake and manipulated. I know there have been a few that have worked out, but most people are there for their own reasons. A few thoughts -- her dress. Corpse bride was spot on. I really don't like to be so harsh but these guys signed up for this. We are not all going to gush and think everything is beautiful. I have been to a real life wedding like this. I thought what I thought but I kept those thoughts to myself because they were nice people, doing what they wanted to do and i was happy for them. But Gerry and Treesa sold their souls for this fiasco, so I do not feel bad about my comments or anyone else's. What is up with Theresa's hair? It can look fine but then often it looks like a bad wig. Nothing wrong if she has a wig or extensions but if that is what they are, they are very bad. I don't know much about that kind of thing. I wonder if she just has very coarse hair. I feel like there is a stylist somewhere who can help her. I thought Kathy looked great. Better than she ever did on the show. I know make up, lighting etc, can do wonders. Trista went all in on the spray tan. As for all of bachelor nation that was in attendance, they were all strangers to me. I remember Trista and Ryan and the Mesnicks and that's about it, aside from the golden bachelorettes. I bet some of them are embarrassed to be a part of this. Part of me wonders if this was even a legal wedding. And maybe they are going to have a highly publicized 'divorce'. They are really milking this thing and i feel like a lot of the stories that leaked or broke, before the wedding were just to keep them in people's minds. Otherwise a lot of us would have just forgotten about them and the wedding. Oh i don't know but i don't put anything past shows like this. lol

Plenty of retirees work another job after retirement. I know one who works part time at a hospital , taking patients where they need to go in the hospital. One who works at a grocery store. And there are plenty others. Some people are not that good at retirement. They like having something to do and some do that through volunteer work but others take on a job for the insurance benefits. Part time, full time, whatever. They just want a job to get them out of the lol house, and for the social aspect. And while insurance benefits are a big deal, if you are too young for medicare, the actual pay is usually not important. That being said, I do not care for Gerry. I just think he's dorky though, not a scheming playboy. I could be wrong. lol By the way, I wasn't feeling great a few days ago and thought a nap might help. I tend to fall asleep watching tv, during the day so i put on the first episode of the Golden Bachelor, thinking i would quickly doze off. I have learned that cannot get sleepy or doze off, when you are constantlly cringing. lol. I had forgotten how much cringe was in that first episode.

So are they seriously thinking about bringing back some of the women for a Golden Bachelor, season 2? Or is it just wishful thinking because we enjoyed some of the ladies so much? I could see bring back some who were sent home early, or left early. But anyone who claimed to have such a connection with Gerry, I would not want to see again. Leslie, Faith, Ellen -- I think those were the most broken hearted ones. I have nothing against them but I'm not sure I want to see them declare their love for another guy in this way. I know they will all get over him, or just wake up and realize how foolish to think they were in love after barely knowing someone. Well I guess that could make it more interesting, if they were more guarded. I started off thinking this would be a bad idea, and it might very well be, but now i wonder if that won't be their angle, if they try this. Try to find the man who can heal one of the trail of broken hearts Gerry left behind.... lol. Can you imagine how shocked we will be at the 'first time ever on the bachelor' moments and the things that will change bachelor nation forever! Have they done this before? I know they usually pick the next bachelor / ette from the pool of rejects, err, i mean the ones who were not chosen. But have they ever put them back in the pool of bachelorettes, to compete for one man? Do you think the women would do it? I guess the better questions would be, do you think any of them would turn down an opportunity like this?

It seemed like weather, and the dates, which were mostly outdoors and active, we not kind to a lot of the hair. So often i did not understand why they did not just tie it back. I'm sure most of them spend a lot of money on their hair and to go on tv to have to have it whipping around in a convertible or riding a roller coaster would have destroyed any attempts at styling. lol I am not bothered by the dirt dug on on Gerry. I never really liked him. I guess i assumed he was probably a cad. lol And as for the women on the show, who knows why they do this. For fun, maybe an opportunity. Maybe some thought they would find true love. Maybe Theresa and Gerry did. Maybe they didn't. Maybe they are milking all they can out of the experience and will sort everything out after. lol I never really cared who he picked or have any opinion on who he should have picked. I just hope they all got out of the experience, what they wanted to get out of it. And I hope they had fun. I have enjoyed watching. I'm sure I'll watch the wedding, probably rolling my eyes the whole time. lol

I am always amused by the gray hair debate. Do what you want and let others do the same. I think on this show, most have colored their hair, extensions or whatever. I find the natural gray hair so much more beautiful than a lot of the flat dye jobs. That is my opinion. I have plenty of opinions on what these women do to themselves, how they dress , etc. And i feel comfortable saying what i want, here. But in real life, i do not critique, shame, or even voice my opinion. If you think that letting your hair go gray ages you, then color your hair. There is no need to declare that is what you think. lol I can only chuckle, when I am standing there with my natural gray /white/ salt and pepper hair, and someone has to say how they would NEVER go gray because it ages you so much .. then they look at me, and say 'oh but not YOU --- your gray hair is pretty.'. lol Live and let live!

I was so distracted by Leslie's comment about a $60,000 dress. lol I'm glad there are some feasible explanations. I thought i saw Theresa exclaiming, 'I won!" to her sisters who were watching at home. I could be wrong -- like i said I was so distracting thinking about someone buying a $60,000 dress, I was not really watching very closely. lol I do not take this show seriously. I don't even admit I watch it to most people. lol I can't shed any tears of sadness or for happiness on this. I feel like some of the women who did not 'win' were a bit much. And Gerry and Theresa's happiness, has me rolling my eyes. So no, I'm not emotionally invested in this. It was fun to watch though. And if they are happy, good for them. I hope they women all had a good time. I just cannot buy that any are truly so heart broken, after such a short time. I was looking at a pic of Gerry and Theresa today, and just imagining what they would look like, if they went with a more natural look. I don't know what is real or fake. And it doesn't matter. People can look how they want. But I imagined Gerry balding and Theresa with a less harsh hair color, and a more flattering style. I think they would both look better.

I have not watched every bachelor/ ette season. I did for awhile but then, it is not fun to watch anymore. Too much of the same thing over and over. I have no idea what is going to be so 'jaw dropping' at the finale. lol He will cry. Oh they will all cry at some point, I suppose. He will make his choice, and probably propose. I doubt they would actually get married. They have their kids, their homes, their finances all set up , and marriage would just complicate things. Well i predict they will break up anyway. They have to get to know each other in the real world, and it might not be quite so magical as they get to know each other more.

I had to check to see who it was. And after I found out then I could see it, but my word, what have they done to her, or what has she had done? Too much, or a botched job? I just hate that some are so afraid of aging they would risk their beautiful, unique faces, just to try to hide a few wrinkles or lift some sagging. I was distracted by her. I will have to rewatch. I love this show so much. Now that I have had some time to be used to Stockard's look, I should be able to pay more attention to everything else.

It's not like he's going to propose and they immediately get married and then move into Gerry's lake house. And even if one of them eventually does this, I don't agree that it is leaving your old life behind. They have to figure out a way to combine both their lives. Just because Gerry is the bachelor, doesn't mean he gets to pluck someone from the bunch of bachelorettes and put them in his life. I don't think he thinks that either. Planes , trains and automobiles folks! Social media, face time . People can stay connected easily. No one has to give up anything. Change is good and refreshing. Keep both homes and flit back and forth. At this stage I don't think either has to uproot completely. There are so many options. Whoever he picks, there will be compromise. Look at me, acting like i take this show seriously! lol

It was kind of gross that he did not know what Theresa did for a living but he seemed to know she still worked. This stupid show. They talked about that she was still working but he did not ask what she did? That is amazing to me. And when any of us meet people, that is always one of the first questions. How do any of them think they are in love? Are the conversations we see really it? They don't even know each other. This show makes me cringe as much as it makes me laugh. I do not see how anyone could take this seriously. I felt like every smooch was producer driven. Ok Gerry and Leslie, stop here and kiss on these slippery rocks, while you're doing something you haven't done before. Ok you two lay down in bed and start kissing. Leslie, throw your leg over him.... yeah, that's it.... now we're going to focus on your butt.... I don't feel bad for them -- they signed up for this. I know it is not impossible that 2 people could meet on a show like this and actually fall in love but they do not know each other enough to be talking love and marriage. But I think a lot of that is also producer driven. That's why we watch. If it was too realistic, it wouldn't be as fun.

I feel that way too. How can anyone take this too seriously ? It's not impossible to find someone but I think most people go on this to have a good time. I know there are exceptions but especially with this group of Goldens, I think they thought it would be fun. Why not? I would think taking a step back, maybe after they watch the show, they will see that they were being a bit ridiculous. I liked Faith just fine, till she and her boobs were sobbing in Gerry's arms. If they pick a Golden Bachelorette, I hope it is not Faith, Leslie, Theresa , or April. I would probably watch if it was any of the other ones.

I just hate the clip when Gerry says that he's never felt worse in his life, except for when his wife passed, and that having to just pick one, is a close second. Not his exact quote but that's the gist. Come on Gerry. I think they were married 40 - some years? That is real life. He has known these women for weeks? Months? I know he said he felt worse, losing his wife. But he also said this was a close second. This show is a game. Entertainment. If he finds true love, that is great but it seems to me he is diminishing his life with Toni but comparing her loss to this.

Anyone else totally envious of Faith's life? lol I want to ride my horse to the grocery store! I don't think Gerry is the one for Faith. I don't know if he's the one for either of the other 2 but i don't think he would fit into Faith's life.

Thanks for this. I have been wondering who Faith reminds me of, and could not figure it out! Stuff like that can really bug me, so I'm glad to not have to think about it anymore! lol

My goodness, for all the money, I am assuming, they all put in their hair, this was a rough episode! I see them at the mansion with the hair scrunchy, standing by, on the wrist... but i guess they don't bring them on a date. lol Faith seemed to manage hers. But the Santa Monica pier too it's toll on them all. Even Gerry seemed a little more out of place, than usual. Only Susan's hair could handle it! lol Seriously, warn them, if they are going in a convertible. I was watching Theresa when they were all on that roller coaster and I felt like maybe she was struggling to not throw up. She was trying to look like she was having fun but she was not quite able to sell it. I'm not looking forward to the home town dates as much. I don't really like when they have younger kids on a show like this and from the clips, the grandkids seem pretty well coached. lol Well I would hope that no one, including kids, are pushed into doing this if they don't really want to. I know it would be a hard pass, if anyone wanted me to take part in something like this.
