The family picture on the wall in Beth's room that she hates, it shows the mother and three children One looks like the lawyer son, one is Beth, and the younger boy - is that Lee or Casey? Why is one of the boys missing? Does it mean something?

I, too, enjoy trying to understand the different plotlines, and are willing to put the time and energy in. Looks like as the series progresses, characters will be picked off as a result of the ongoing war between the Dutton's, the tribe, land developer, government etc. Already we have lost two family members. Looking forward to next week!

When the Yankees are on FOX we watch the game on mute so as not to hear him gushing about how great the other team is (any team versing Yankees). He is so, so opinionated, which is wrong for a commentator. Why can't they get rid of him?
-
Right? The team love him! Cashman has no clue what is in the heart of a ball player. He's all about $$$$$. Joe would definitely have come back, even with a not so great contract. He loves the Yankee players, coaches and staff, and I believe they love him. I will miss The Joe Girardi Show on YES.

I believe those were police officers, not thugs, standing over Christos' body while Vellek pulled the sheet off. They were handling the crime scene. Ugh! Next week's preview has the sister holding a gun on Chandler, who is kneeling before her. Of course she will rant on and on and give him (or someone else) time to prevent her shooting him. The plot is so obvious.

No no no no.....what a terrible ending! Hate when a main character dies at the end of a series. It ruins the reruns for me. So, Charlotte is supposed to be 50 years old in that scene with Charlie? And Luke is...what....52 or 53? No way. Really unhappy with the ending of this series, which I truly enjoyed.

Well, Carrie Coon has a new gig coming up, as the lead in the series "Fargo". Seems like the late April 2017 works out for her (or she took the job on "Fargo" because she had the time).

Trent is definitely not gay. I've heard his reaction in an interview about JLo flirting with him. He obviously liked it - a lot! I also know that he has a girlfriend. There was a brief interview with Trent and Dalton this morning on my local FOX station. Trent was asked what he was doing exactly one year ago today. Being honest, he said that he had just moved off the farm into his own apartment. He told his parents that he wanted to seriously pursue music. Their reaction was that he would be back home broke in a few months, and he was always welcomed. I wonder if this explains the awkwardness between him and his Dad when Trent returned home? Of course Idol didn't mention any of this, making it look like Trent jumped off his tractor and went to the Idol audition, lol

I'm a little afraid of this too. Hopefully not everyone heard it, since it was at the end of her critique and a little drowned out. You could see how hard Trent was trying not to cry. I find that more touching and admirable than LaPorshia's easy tears (although I do understand emotion overwhelming her - I would be a blubbering mess). I agree with the judge's saying that this will be perhaps the closest finale in Idol history, maybe beating Clay vs. Ruben, which I think is now the closest. Anyone know if that's right?

God, how I hope Trent wins! He has persevered through illness, missing his family and unbelievable hard work. JLo said tonight that he deserved to win, and I agree. Adore his voice. Tonight's rendition of "Chandelier" was superior to the first. He really poured his heart and soul into it. LaPorshia is amazing. So very talented and such a lovely woman. Even though I'm rooting for Trent, if she wins it's also very deserved. I liked Dalton, but he was in over his head. Nice to see Sonika, MacKenzie and Avalon in the audience, as well as some of the past years contestants. Simon Fuller's daughter is adorable.

Season 15: Farewell Season Spoilers Discussion
DonnaJo replied to yourpointis's topic in American Idol
Is Dial Idol still a credible indication of the possible order of popularity of the remaining three contestants? Just to be curious, I visited the site and it has Trent in the lead, followed closely by LaPorshia, with Dalton lagging behind. Anyone know? -
It would be so upsetting if people take her comments as anything but an honest statement about what she has seen and experienced living as a working class African-American woman in a state infamous for racial inequality, race riots and the like. I'm sure there are many people in Mississippi who aren't racists, but some still are (true everywhere). If people don't vote for her based on this, that would be a shame.

I was really looking forward to Trent singing "Drink You Away," after seeing it performed by JT & CS at the CMA's, but he was drowned out by the band & back ups, especially in the beginning. Also the cameraman kept focusing on random lights before refocusing on Trent. Loved the other two performances of his. Didn't know the judge's pick but Trent sang the crap out of it! I know Trent was superstitious about his family coming before the finale, so I hope he's wrong and it doesn't jinx him or distract him, although I love watching him and his Mom together. I think the relationship with his father is good, but maybe it's old school and showing overt affection, especially on National TV, is embarrassing to an old fashioned Southern Dad. Felt bad for Mac being in the bottom two with LaPorshia. Of course he knew he was toast. So sweet and humble. Surprised to see LaPorshia in the bottom two, BTW. Doesn't bode well for her, although she did a great job last night. It's anyone's bet who will make the top two. I think Trent will make it, but Dalton could overtake LaPortia if his fans rally. Excited for next week! Hope we see Simon at the judge's table for a bit. Disappointed that they have already cancelled the tour. I went once when David Cook won. Would have definitely gone for the final season. I think more people than expected would have.

I agree that, if we are going by Twitter and other social media sites, Dalton and MacKenzie have the largest fan base. However, we've seen cases where the the "cougar" voting block (hate the term, since I think I would be categorized as one) come out to vote in the end, when it counts. That's who voted David Cook, Scottie M. and Nick F, in, to name just a few. I've been voting on Google for Trent and Sonika since top 10, now its just Trent. He's what a mom would love her son to be like, and her daughter to marry. He's talented, smart and has wonderful manners!

That whole Fongo schtick was embarrassing (for me, for you). Someone has to control Harry when he goes off the page like that. Ryan tries but fails. It's a waste of time that could have been better spent on, let's say, showing one of Sonika's mentoring packages before she was booted off. I don't see Borchetta wanting Trent, he was just going along with Stevie, IMO. Since it looks likes MacKenzie is getting bussed, I think Scott prefers the idea of working with Dalton, who has a radio friendly voice and a look teen girls like. I don't think he would know what to do with Trent, especially if he doesn't want to be a country star.
