There were six people in the cars, three in each car, if I remember correctly. I think they all survive (maybe I hope they will). I don't think they're going to make the team any smaller. Why? All these actors have got other projects besides CM. They act in films or other shows, they direct.... so the team has to be big enough to allow some of them to be absent from one/some episodes. It doesn't seem a very good reason to have such a big team, but I'm almost sure this is part of the reason, or most of it.

He appeared only in one episode, such a long time ago, and we (at least I ) remember him so clearly. It was a very powerful character and a wonderful episode. The same channel that shows CM was showing Star Trek a few weeks ago. Every time the promo was on the screen and he appeared, I felt so sad about the stupid accident that cost him his life. Revisiting Sex, Birth, Death tonight?? Mmmmm, tempting!!

I'd love to get to episode 300, I'm not so sure about a possible season 14. In the last episodes of season 12 they have shown us that they can write, direct and give us the wonderful stories we enjoy. If they can keep this level of good work, I'm in for season 14. But if we are only going to get a good episode here and there, it's just not worth it.

ReidFan, I won't quote you again, but your review of the episode is wonderful !!!! I love it when someone seems to be reading my mind and this is what happened with most (all of?) your post. I have watched only once so far (and still I have been reading so much about it that it seems I have been living in CM land ) and I think your post will help me focus on some of the highlights of the episode, when I watch it again (in a few moments, I think) I hadn't realised that Joe had pointed the gun at his own daughter, because I was so caught up in the fiction I didn't think about the actors at all, I only thought about the characters. Editing to add: Your post is long, but every word of it is worth reading.

I didn't understand that part either. The episode was so packed with information that I will need to rewatch it a couple of times, just to understand some parts. Then I'll rewatch just for fun !!

Now that you've learned to appreciate his angry side, you might try to learn to enjoy other aspects: thinking Spencer, vulnerable Spencer, caring Spencer, nerdy Spencer, ... many sides to the character, all of them very good. (May I confess that I also think that angry Reid is reaaallyyyy hot ?)

With the last two episodes you might have enough material for a novel!!

If you want my advice, and you dislike knowing too much before watching the episode, keep away from the promo!! Enjoy it !!

In fact I have to say that I started reading the episode thread, reading very quickly, so I'd be able to stop before something was a real spoiler. And someone said "how can they show this much in a sneak peek". I'd never be grateful enough to that person, (I don't remember who it was) because it really helped me to stay away, until I watched the episode.

So good in Red light!! He has been good in all of the last 11 episodes, but the last two... where is that Emmy??

When I was watching Red Light, when Cat makes Reid send JJ away, I immediately thought about the last part of your story, JMO. You knew it, you guessed it... anyway it really shows how deeply you understand these characters (yes, mainly Spencer, but all of them)

How can they allow the promos to be soooo revealing??!! I understand that they are meant to get us interested in watching (as if we needed it!) but... to spoil the last sequence of the season??!! I just don't understand it!

Yes, that was the look I meant. I'm not sure that scary or frightening are the exact words for the feeling it produces in me. But it does make me feel... uneasy, unsettled... It's like it doesn't belong on him. Scary looking/scared looking...brilliant way to express it Reidfan!!

Now that I've mentioned it, I find the look on Reid's face when he looks at Shaw after the stabbing quite chilling!! It frightened me a little , I never thought I could be afraid of Reid, but for a moment...

I have just realized you posted this!! I think it will help me process the episode, believe it or not,a lot of things about it are still going round in my head. And the more I think about it, the more nervous I get about the season finale.
