  1. Agree Snarkle, & that's why I deal with Jamie to watch Unfiltered because I do feel we get a bit more 'real' there from them. Danielle made it clear there that she's felt pressure from Cody as well, so it's not just production telling him to talk about it all the time, although like you said that was also happening & just making it worse. I also agree he's having trouble with the truth, in that Danielle is just not feeling it for him & nothing he's doing is changing that (although he does make it worse). He's young & this could be a blow to his ego, but he's not handling it well. Jamie made some very valid points when explaining her own need to wait & how her husband was patient, but for Cody to acknowledge that would take away his feeling of entitlement. He could've/should've been paying attention & learning something. I've not been against Cody to this point & not a huge fan of Danielle's but he's becoming more aggravating to me in that he's just so damn clueless. This isn't a booty call & it's not dating, but just because he's "got a ring on my finger man" (cut it out Cody) doesn't mean she's going to automatically want him when they didn't even know each other prior, & that's a chance he was (supposedly) willing to take. I mean crap there are people who have damages in long term marriages who need to take time away from the physical to work on the emotional first, because if you don't have that the physical really does just turn into a booty call, & Danielle said that's not what she wants. It's also not the mark of a deeper relationship such as marriage. I know regardless they're friends & that's been a good thing, but it's annoying watching him in Unfiltered acting like he's just so freakin' (lost the 'g' just for Cody) concerned about himself that he's probably not going to learn a damn thing from this experience & his own failed part he played.
  2. That one was kind of amusing. The singer bride really thought she had it because she was the big evening reception party, but the afternoon reception candy bride won. Singer bride was a sore loser as well. The Asian theme for a non-Asian couple was strange; the other brides seemed confused about it as well. The swamp buggy wedding had all kinds of 'critters' to eat, as the groom said LOL. I thought the canon shooting, or whatever it was, was obnoxious. The bride made sure the audience knew she was a 'country girl' since she stated it ad nauseam.
  3. Yup; that's what I mean... she said things, he said 'guy time', hid under the blanket etc... they played along to some extent & probably didn't realize the show would even use it or use it the way they did, so came the denials & acting innocent on SM, which I don't buy at all. It's a damned if you do, damned if you don't with signing up for this - Sheila isn't having it with production & gives them a lot of material, so they are using it. They are totally messing with Cody & Danielle & because they're playing along they both look stupid, especially Cody. A&A have it kind of figured out, especially after Rachel caught Ashley off guard the first time; they're more careful now.
  4. They said he has a lot of ways he likes to spend his free time (as I recall Pepper mentioning). He doesn't look incredibly active, but that could be deceiving since he likes to eat as well LOL. He did want to do more than Ashley did on the honeymoon; she said he hung out at the bars & on the beach for her, mostly. She took him to the indoor skydiving as something more for him, to enjoy more activities with him, since he likes it. So I'd say he's probably not into running a 5K but he seems to enjoy lots of activities.
  5. It was obviously fake but to me it looks like they played along on the lame joke to the audience, then back peddled on SM when they looked stupid, so I'm not feeling sorry for either of them.
  6. She acts like she's high on something. This show is a hot mess already.
  7. Haven't seen all of the UK this week yet but I thought Fatema's dress was lovely, but then again I do love lace. The Pnina in the same show at the end was obscene, but what else is new. Honestly I hadn't paid much attention to the rest of the show. It's become background noise for me because every time I look up I'm seeing the same crap again which is disappointing.
  8. 1. Not full, but mostly, Italian here; never really saw lazy honestly; definitely controlling behavior, but that could've just been what I've seen & experienced. 2. I believe he said he was full Italian so yes, he's Italian-American. 3. Not to me.... have seen many non Italian men who preferred football to filling out paperwork, among other things.
  9. I agree on editing showing things the way they want to, but now Danielle has said that Cody himself has made it clear to her he's not happy about not having sex & the pressure has been on for her. The edits make it look like it's all sex talk all the time, but I think between them minus cameras it may not be all the time but it's enough she's felt pressure. By not listening I mean not even sex related. I watched another -not sex related- convo between them where all he did was nod & say 'yeah' 'yeah' & 'it's so haaaaard', etc, without really understanding what she was saying. I just don't think he's a great listener, in general, & that's not going to help her connect with someone she's not feeling it for to begin with, KWIM? I also agree it's nice to see two people knowing this is not going well but still not fighting etc. It does show they seem to have a friendship, but that's about all they're going to have together.
  10. I just watched Unfiltered for this episode & Danielle made it clear that she had told Cody "multiple times" that she wasn't ready for sex with him not due to her trust issues as he tends to say but because she was "not feeling a spark". I had heard her say that in her TH's but now that answers my question that she definitely did make that clear to Cody. If he had just been mentioning their lack of sex in the TH's I don't think Danielle would've felt so much pressure. She's said she was 'very aware' of his issue with it. Feeling pressured for sex from someone you don't feel a spark with just makes it that much worse. I really enjoyed the part where Jamie spoke of her asking Doug to be patient with her so she could feel more of an emotional connection with him & it could be real & organic, & that even at the end of the experiment they still had not had sex yet there it is & they stayed together. I watched Cody be very still while she was explaining that to him but at the end he just nodded as he always does & claimed that was why he was "being patient". Even with production spin I don't see him as patient at all. I also felt that was dismissive of what Jamie was trying to explain to him which he clearly did not understand. Danielle has said before she does not feel heard when she speaks to Cody & I can definitely see why. Cody mentioned being "very sexually active" beforehand & not having it was too much of a lifestyle change. That says to me that he couldn't shift from booty call to emotional involvement & love making - not just sex, & this is more his problem than Danielle's. It doesn't show he actually gives a shit about her if he can't work on the emotional & just let the physical happen when it should. So neither should've been chosen for this show because - -Danielle needs to feel chemistry with someone & no one can gauge that on paper -Cody needs someone who will have sex with him immediately AND be someone he can grow into an emotional relationship with as well - that will take time & both will have to be willing End of the day again I'm not a big fan of either but this was a mess of a match... good luck to both of them finding what they each need.
  11. I never liked Pao from the get go, had her pegged as a user, & couldn't see her ever being comfortable in OK. That said, even though Russ hasn't really shown a bad side, he's now giving me a creepy vibe like he's really just in lust & ready to look pathetic for his caricature of a 'spicy Latina' wifey he wanted to parade around OK. Now her behavior is so over the top bitchy I can't even believe it anymore. I call BS & feel they have a deal going to do what they need to do for the TLC paycheck. While the monies come in they'll keep it up but eventually she'll probably settle in Miami & he'll go back to OK or wherever he can work. He must really need the reality show paycheck & she really loves the attention & being on TV, so it's working for them - for now. I mean what grown man storms out of a get together like that to sit on the street like he's ready to cry - seriously Russ? If he were a man he'd cut off her financial (party money) lifeline, board a flight back to OK & file for divorce. That way Pao has it in her face to make a decision & he'll really know where he stands. But that's not what he did from what we've seen so far; hopefully there's an ultimatum coming her way. And her Miami girlfriends seem like they can barely stand her; probably paid TLC extras.
  12. Yep; we don't know for sure. We do know Sheila's temper, we know her reactivity, but then we see Nate crying. She's not playing nice with production either, & of course we won't know everything that went down or how it happened, but that can't be helping her case either. Sheila was wounded by her past relationships, & she may even be testing Nate with her behavior. She quite possibly changed her name so early on to make it more difficult (emotionally) for him to leave (who wants to be the ass hole who's brand new stranger wife changed her name for you but you don't want her) yet many wouldn't blame him from what's being shown. I thought even though it was a nice gesture, it probably should've been discussed with him beforehand due to their 'stranger marriage' situation being so young. I do see Sheila as being triggered (a very overused word for something that is very real) by something in Nate. It may not necessarily be something specific to him as it could happen to her with anyone, since she hasn't worked her past out yet. And he did bring up her past - given that's a sensitive subject to begin with it could cause a huge reaction. But who knows maybe there's some other issues we're not hearing about; they had a discussion about the clubbing, which interestingly was never made a story line & wasn't spoken about again. No matter what they could use fair fighting & communication sessions. This is the kind of stuff that will breed resentment down the line. I feel your pain... (sigh).
  13. This show isn't Jersey; it's Staten Island & her new salon is in NYC. Identical twins getting (supposedly) very different hair styles this week, so, we will see!
  14. I think the show just wants drama wherever. When they have their issues the show gets right in there, Sheila doesn't want to deal with them, so ensues the tactical edits for the most dramatic effect. My prediction is when filming stopped they probably stayed together & could work things out between themselves unobtrusively. Regarding being demonized, I think Sam of Season 3 was probably at least somewhat possessed.
  15. Yeah, she's a pisser; I'm taking notes for when my son brings someone home... kidding (sorta). Drama queen meets the new & improved drama queen... can't say Nate wasn't prepped for the job.
  16. Which is why I feel people should think for themselves. It's great to get advice but 'expert' doesn't mean they know what's best for someone else. These "experts" on the show are nothing but TV personalities. If something is not good for a participant but good for the show, they are always going to default to what's good for the show.
  17. I'm not sold that his mother is all that bad. I just think she was concerned about him marrying a stranger who could end up being like Sheila... Wounded people who haven't healed their wounds tend to wound others.
  18. I think she knew more about Jorge's situation than she's letting on, came over anyway & married him because of the lure of being on TV. She's now stuck in a (sort of) Dani/Mo type situation, where if she leaves she loses the 90 Day 'fame', & she definitely wants fame as she's stated that already.
  19. A&A's 'fight' was ridiculous, & so was his 'yelling', as it was described. He was a bit frustrated & confused, not angry. Joke - lame attempt at conflict there production. I wasn't surprised they're moving into her sister's building, & agree with someone up thread it might work out for them as Anthony can go do his thing & she can hang with her sis, as long as the family closeness doesn't get too intrusive. From the little that was said about Nate & Sheila's fight I could understand how that could feel for her, & his behavior throwing things around is out there as well. So they were setting each other off. They could agree on that, apologize & move on. But only Nate is apologizing. Sheila must want blood or something; he's exasperated not knowing what to do for her. I don't think Nate is ever going to get away with a bad day though, with Sheila. I think she feels entitled to her emotions but he's not allowed to have his own. How many times is she going to pack up & leave & expect him to lure her back to work things out? Will she continually do this in front of any kids they may have? Nate has to have some serious concerns by now. I do feel they will stay together but he's going to get very tired & broken down if this keeps up. I don't prefer either Danielle or Cody, but have felt bad for each in different ways along the way this season. I don't agree she is obligated to any kind of physical intimacy with him, but I do feel she should be straight up with him about the lack of chemistry she's concerned about as she said in her TH's. Maybe she told him off camera, but from her twitter I don't think so. She's said we don't see everything (yeah we know) & that they do cuddle & kiss. If she's not feeling chemistry & this is going nowhere then he was probably feeling led on & of course frustrated. The contrived 'caught in the act' scene was lame too. We all know he is & don't need a made-up scene to make it more real. Next week Cody will discover Danielle's vibrator on the dresser. Have Danielle's dogs been kenneled for the rest of the season? It's too quiet there now. Good job putting your, um, foot, in your mouth there Ash, LOL; good comic relief for this episode.
  20. These strapless ones all look alike to me. I used to be able to recall dresses better because one had short sleeves, another long, another puffy, another maybe cap, or off the shoulder - you know - there was variety at one time.
  21. I haven't seen that one; kind of giving up on this show. It seems very fake (what else is new), but yes, I did notice that all the hair styles she does are the same thing no matter if it's flattering, appropriate or not, & it's usually fake looking & not very attractive for whatever fortune she's charging them.
  22. Maybe Nick doesn't realize people can see him everywhere.
  23. It wouldn't be the first time the 'experts' have wrongly encouraged women on this show to stay with the husband even if they did not feel safe.
  24. Maybe they're attracted to emotionally repressed men who tell the world they find their wives unattractive. To each her own I suppose.
