  1. No...there are people that check names to make sure that all paperwork has been received. Once that is confirmed, contestants proceed to one station to receive numbers.
  2. #7 Jasmine #39 Cailey #47 Keshia #65 Angela #72 Kasey #73 Aubrey
  3. They don’t have to sign it, but it is preferred. In all the years, I can only remember one that didn’t want to sign it.
  4. There have been a few over the all of the years...some with 1 year in between and some with 3 or more in between. Susan Goldi Howard, Tina Miller Kalina, Dina Brown, Brittain Osteen, Marnie Pizzitola, Ronda Cates Moren, Melissa Valdez, Alice Williams, Michelle Druga, Shannon Swanson, Stacie Drew, Nicole Anselmo, Bronlyn Tuell, Sheila Morris, Cindi Burck, Amber Gosdin, Charlotte Lindsey, Whitney Ott and Brandi Nace Redmond. I’m sure there’s more...with the exception of Charlotte, Whitney and Brandi, I cheered with all of the above at some point during my 5 years.
  5. There have been two deaf DCC...Emily Clark in 1992 and Christine Murphy in 2001.
  6. She’s changed her major...at first her interests were in medicine, specifically sports with emphasis on concussions and the science of rejuvenating damaged brain cells. The last we spoke about school, she was interested in going to law school. Her summer intern jobs have varied from an advertising agency to social media with CMT. She may have done an internship out of high school with a magazine publisher too.
  7. She worked for Dallas Cowboys Social Media dept. Sam is with CMT this summer.
  8. She’s interning for the CMT’s Instagram page @dccmakingtheteam
  9. I don’t think so, since we were filming here yesterday.
  10. Yes, but before this show started. And the majority of Vets that season were 2 years...#lastcentury. Edit: there were others in the early 2000s. But, the difference from those years to starting in 2010 is that the pregame performance changed every game....song, formations, etc. the only thing that was consistent was the kickline. The front of the formations had the same people, mostly SG members, but several people had chances to be “the point” every season.
  11. It is the new intro...sung by Cassadee Pope.
  12. Nothing decided yet...probably not for a few more days.
  13. Typically, Rookies do not attend Oxnard. There have been some years when there has been a Rookie or two on the trip. Technically they are in TC mode and there are more than enough Vets to choose from.
  14. There are tentative plans to take a small group. Since it is LA’s home game, their cheerleaders will be gameday entertainment.
  15. Rookie Week is just rookies working on DCC style. This week it has been kick technique with Shelly Mc. K & J are on vacay.
  16. Truth Picked by Staff, finalized by K & J.
  17. No specifics, but here’s what I posted earlier about that night: the field was strong, and the new (Vets and TCCs) came with a mission. There were several that were very strong, but in the end, it’s the voting. There are considerations for the previous year(s), but just because your on SG the previous year doesn’t mean your are safe. They are always expected to keep pushing, moving up.
  18. Insomnia...AS are not technically alternates. They are a trusted, quick fix in a pinch due to illness and/or injury. If they could get past security. Not.
  19. It will be covered, to what depth I am unsure. There are no alternates for the 36. There aren’t really alternates per se for SG. There are 18 this year, most show stages can handle 12 performers, occasionally 16. Having 18 allows for flexibility/availability for all shows.
