Yeah, sure. My opinion about Kelli and not cutting down the squad? I think she really wanted all these girls on the team. She waited to see if any of them shot themselves in the foot in order to cut them. Then no one really did (in her eyes) so she had make the decision herself. I honestly think she would have taken the 40 we saw last night, even VK, problems and all, if she could have. I thought the same. I think he really liked her and wanted to know he saw something in her.

Now that they have to pay the girls for rehearsals, I believe they are more budget conscious than years prior.

All the girls get notes during training camp from Kelli. That’s why she speaks in to the recorder. She gives them feedback on what she is seeing in rehearsals.

In the Vanity Fair article that was posted on another board, there is a reference to a are documentary, Daughters of the Sexual Revolution: The Untold Story of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. It screened in April in Dallas at the USA Film Fest and it is screening at the Tallgrass Film Festival (no idea what city it is in) on October 20th. If it goes directly to dvd/on demand I will let everyone know. I can’t imagine a distributor will pick up but you never know.

But that’s my point. She didn’t know it was wrong and I think it’s rather wonderful she didn’t.

I always looked at what Whitney did as kind of great. Young people don’t see color the way our ancestors/elders do. She loved Lil Wayne and dressed as him for Halloween at a house party never thinking anything of it. Yes, it was surprising that Jackie Bob and Mia did not find it odd or were offended but again, they don’t see color, they see the person. Just my thoughts.

So true. When I went to see a game at the stadium in 2011, Kelsi Reich, Meredith Oden and one other girl who I can’t remember looked big on the screen. The person I was with made a comment he was surprised they weren’t more toned. I couldn’t argue with him because of how they looked on that giant screen.

I thought about Judy dancing into the studio while I was doing stuff today. How great was that? She’s never done something like that since the show started...wonder why?????
