  1. Interesting: http://primetime.unrealitytv.co.uk/benedict-cumberbatch-admits-seeing-shrink-sherlock-intensity/ I bet a lot of actors that play intense roles do get some therapy on occasion. Kudos to him for not hiding it.
  2. I was under the impression that was not a SHIELD facility. Quasi ally at best. Am I wrong?
  3. She was great! Thanks for killing her off after you actually pulled off the impossible task of finding someone that had chemistry and fit with the rest of the cast. Kudos! The entire final season should have been about her integrating with the group.
  4. I am with you. Then again, I follow Connie Brittons Hair on twitter so maybe I just like redheads.
  5. I am probably Paul. Though Kevin had some very cringe-worthy moments that I identified with.
  6. I hope they can find a way so that shows can air within the same day in different countries. There's no good reason for weeks and months of delays (and the American TV "sweeps" periods are archaic and stupid). All it does is make the viewers in the lagging country fearful to visit parts of the internet because of spoilers, and make them cranky they have to wait.
  7. Instead, she's a woman! And she's Irene Adler! I truthfully did not see that one coming. I am pleased with it, as it shows us the writers aren't afraid to take risks and play with the Sherlock Holmes canon beyond making Watson a woman. On the other hand, I don't know how much more we will get. I suppose it depends on how often they can get Natalie Dormer to guest star. A friend and I have a disagreement over the BBC's version of Irene Adler. She loved the character, while I was displeased with the fact that she didn't ultimately beat Sherlock like in the canon - she never seemed like a true equal in the end. The BBC Moriarty however, could be even smarter than Sherlock. Here, Sherlock once again triumphed over both, but I feel that this mash-up of Adler/Moriarty is more on his level. She concealed the fact they were the same person for years from the best detective mind in the world, and was able to nearly destroy him by driving him to abuse drugs. Their love/hate relationship is very intriguing, I hope we get some of it every season. P.S. The sex will be mind-blowing when it finally happens again.
  8. I lurked on TWOP for years, but never really posted. Mostly came for the recaps. I am surprised I like this show as much as I do. I'm a huge BBC Sherlock fan and I only checked out this show to see how it compared. I wasn't too impressed with the first few episodes, but after they dropped that whole "sober companion" bit and Watson became an investigator in her own right, the show (and characters) got quite good and interesting.
  9. Glad to see he stuck around, in the first season I was sure he'd just fade into the background as any random actor could be that week's dumb NYPD detective that Sherlock would dismiss and prove wrong. They've really expanded his role and his character's abilities; and did it so subtly that I'm not sure when he became a good character rather than just another disbelieving pest for Sherlock to swat away.
  10. If the Clearance Level Ten spoiler thread is to be believed (I didn't actually read the linked spoiler), something is going to shake up the show this next episode. It needs it.
  11. Yeah, there are only 500 immortals or whatever. Weird that these "immortals" get stuck at a certain age. Or maybe they explained in last night's episode, it's waiting for me on my DVR.
  12. On the EHG podcast I thought David had bailed too early on the show, but nope! If he thought it was bad a few episodes in, I can only imagine what he'd think to see it now. I just watch it to see how mindbogglingly stupid it can get. It's a shame, I like the broad ideas of the plot and the atmosphere of a remote arctic base. But the characters are the WORST.
