He must be the least attractive guy ever on these shows...beady little eyes and so obsessed with Chad I thought Carly was ok but fugly on Bach but I couldnt stand her on BIP2...she was so SMUG.. .so sure of herself..."the couples".. So dismissive of the uncoupled women....so sure of her "relationship" with Kirk she didnt even comb her hair. i enjoyed her dumping Then she didnt seem to think much of Evan BIP3.. He liked Amanda ..no chance.. But they settled....as I said "Lowered Expectations" dating service MADtv...Thanks for correvting me haha. Carly was ready to settle for a plastic blow up doll if it meant attention and instagram fame and a place in Bachelor Nation haha

Now...I hope they get rid of Corrine and any others who blatantly have a sig other back home Yes the show has evolved into a fame game BUT at the very least the cast should be single and at least somewhat looking for love I still feel that this was set in motion cause Corrine and her producer buddy wanted to clean up her rep.. wow Corrines BF really looks like Nick ! If these shows continue they need to stop with the "drama plants" and stop allowing cast members with sig others. I said from the start that I feel Corrine was drunk and out of control and having FUN.. Showing off. Partying with 4 hunks in one day... I think her producer buddy freaked cause it likely meant she would lise her upcoming show.. Corinne flipped cause of her bf and family and loss of show... The reports from Jasmine and some other cast members seems to indicate this Please no Carly show... That pair remind me of old 90s SNL skits.. "Lowered Expectations" Matchmaking service haha

Hmmm....and others just explain that Jezebels are former professional women that the commanders enjoy the humiliation of it Actually in a brutal place like Gilead I think Moiria would have been sent to the colonies or hung after she attacked an aunt and escaped. They also sterilized mentally ill and disabled people in this country. A real good analogy to Gilead is Ireland in the 20s 30s 40s. ..like Gilead a "new" country...and dirt poor. They made Church and State one...and brutalized many women. Check the film "Magdaline Laundries"..."fallen" women...unmarried mothers...rape victims.. Sometimes just headstrong girls were kept by the nuns ....their babies were given to Irish American couples ...many in Boston..for generous "donations". Some got out but many spent their wholenlives there...wearing uniforms . living like the handmaids.. The nuns were like the aunts...older ladies in the laundry were like Marthas...and in the past few years they have found hundreds bodies buried under convents. It is a true story film...excellent but horrible and tragic.Sadly real

What bothered me about this series is that the more it went on the more it relied on incredible superwoman feats and luck and more and more illogical bits In a dystopian or fantasy one should not have to rely on spin and maybes and explanations etc. I think in the closed in 1st person nature of the book it was more believable The writers MIGHT have addressed it ...the Mexico officials visit they could have had the Gilead fanatics point out that they had stomped out racism Like one consession they were proud of. I think they had many writers and directors and producers so sometimes the view changed. The episode about Luke escape felt like it was a different show. My opinion.

My major problems are...Moria...luck luck luck...she never had a kid so ehy a handmaid? Please dont say "she never had sex with a man so they think she maybe fertile"...why wasnt she sent to colonies or hung like the other gender traitors? Why was she not killed or sent to tje colonies after her auntie escape?

Read on DM that the day after C and M were ok with each other...producers cut off all alcohol to Corrine and she was UNHAPPY at that. Then they were both mysteriously taken away...the next day all shut down..party over. I do feel bad for DiMario. Maybe his fake bad girl gf will cheer him up?

Sorry Janine. The problem for me is that every objection I and others make regarding illogical choices are answered but with convoluted reasoning. For me a good dystopia or fantasy world shouldn't need fan fiction explanations...the writers and producers should fill in the gaps. Why wouldnt addicts be Jezabels ? Drugs booze and cigarettes.Please dont say cause fertile.. Cause Moiria was fertile. Why were formerly high powered women given the "choice" to be Jezebels? It is up to the writers to create a logical world and create stories without so much obvious belief suspending luck. Now if they still have lotteries in Canada Moria should buy a ticket with the money they gave her. Lucky

The acting was very powerful but my logical side cant get over all the coincidences. Just me maybe...I can get into a drama or futuristic movie or mini series but when it becomes seasons my questions start. The claustrophobic feel of the first episodes were more believable and more like the book. The Moiria storyline is where they lost me. After her escape wearing aunt uniform and capture I think they would have maimed her and kept her for "breeding"...or more likely sent her to colonies or killed her. I cant believe they made her a Jezebel. I also find it hard to think she made yet another escape. .and got to Ontario from Boston? Coincidincyyyyyy? I think Jasmine's stoning was well acted but poorly written.. The ex drug addict wasnt in "class" with Jasmine and didnt know her. In fact that character has bothered me anyhow...my.logical mind says how did they "cure" her addiction? I wonder what season 2 will be...much Mayday ? It would be interesting to see a teal wifey or two banished to the "colonies"...SJ preferably haha.

Ugh to Lexie and BGC...thanks for vid. This show has gotten so fake I watched every season...often fast forward especially last few shows The early shows were well to do guys...a good catch...the early season shows had more real women...yes some models and wanna bes but more real. Afterwards a few used the show for self promo but nothing like the internet instagram insanity today Many of the guys are models...trainers...wanna be musicians. Or like Nick just want fame Makes me think more and more that Corinne is just going for money since her so called career is ruined. DiMario was over the top and Lexie seemed like a fake ugly lil troll. Sigh. Oh for days of Trista and Andrew Firestone. Rachael is bringing class back but who knows what other set ups they have in store for her?

I also think drunken Corinne and drunken DiMario went too far and the cameras rolled...bad. BUT I think her friend Shelby alerted her. ..and because of her boyfriend at home started the complaint..suit whatever This forced the company to shut it down...and then the 2 producers and maybe Corrine had 2nd thoughts but too late...no more show...no future Corinne own show...no more Bach nation....and BF KNOWS So now she is playing hardball..sue sue sue. Depending on whats on the tape...outcome is still up in the air

It was bound to happen as they push the boundaries on this show so much. Joe and Samantha on BIP2. Crazy Chad and Lace last year... Corinne may be using this to mollify her bf .. And to get big bucks. I think both she and Mario were drunk...and she seems to be the agressor Yes producers should propably have stopped it. Criminal? I dont like Mario from what Ive seen but it seems they both were drunk. They should have let Corinne bring her "Nanny" !

An answer to every point yes but I still maintain that Boston is a bad choice. I also question the former addict. Your answers fitbin with the writers story but for me small weird things bother me in dramas when they fit too easily. More realistic would be some Gilead bragging they had "solved" ...ie killed off...the addicts. If this was a 1 time movie or a three part show it could be overlooked but as it plays out ..and another season comes in...the overcleverness of the writers and showrunners is very obvious to me

I could accept the race aspect somewhat UNTIL the new Ofglen? arrived....the former drug addict who happens to be Black That stretches the imagination for me. .that food and a place to sleep was a ok with her . No lingering addiction. Well spoken and happy...no I dont buy it

I have a real logistic problem with the Boston setting... All the Irish Americans....the Southies. Catholics . and then the progressive liberal university people...and old money rich peeps. Why Boston? I can imagine the fundamental Bible thumping in a Southern state but not Boston. What happened to all the pubs?

I read the book.. Fantastic and memorable . I saw the original clumsy movie...very little introspection...very rushed...little explanation I admire the acting here but for me the impact of the first few episodes is dimming. I think they are drawing it out .. As opposed to the awful 90s movie that shortened everything. I think the fashbacks. Canada...Mexico...even the ?? Luke said about the 200 and ? School? I think the writers and producers are showing their plans for season 2. Then again I prefer movies...tv movies...short mini series...comedy series...and reality unreal tv vs drama series. I really see the writers plotting here sorry.

I like Ant/Ash a LOT.. They seem to be having fun together and are open to getting to know each other. Anthony has a nice sense of humor too. Cody and Danielle are painful to watch. She gets more harsh and ugly with each challenge and demand that she throws out . Poor Cody is melting away... Interesting to hear that Nate's bigmouth dad is a comedian...I thought he was tring to get his own reality show or something during the wedding. I wonder if nasty Dad has influenced Nate to try out for reality tv? Sheila is a drama queen but I sense that she feels trapped already....bound to stick it out due to her Preacher Dad tho. The show does prove that personality and being decent and nice go far...From previews Anthony wasnt the best looking but he is looking better and better haha And he cooks ..Italian...sweet

Thanks a bunch.. I read it when it first came out...I even saw the original movie which was a dud I thought but I have forgotten much of it I guess. The time line and kids still bothers me ...how many sterile..infertile ...years ...? Surely there would be teens .. I think this is more glaring on screen than in book. The tv series is good but I wish it had a bit more explaining

Hi...I have high hopes for Anthony and Ashley. They had a connection from the start. Danielle and Cody are both attractive but something off there...he is really young. I think he and his brother got caught up in the comptative auditioning....he won but doesnt know how to handle it? Nate and Sheila... Drama from the start lol. I hope his awful dad is kept away. She may be upset or angry but I do think she is commited. The religion aspect may work for them . I never knew a Preachers kid ..I'm Catholic. ..but while they say they rebel..Katy Perry...many also seem to remain religious. I think Sheila takesvthis very seriously. Nowvif Nate can just calm down....and shutup with the Queen nonsense. I think they have a chance
