  1. You may have misinterpreted my post. I'm saying I don't blame Jason at all for leaving his personal business on the device, and for sure he should have every expectation that it would be deleted if he happened to make a mistake and leave it on. My point was that he made a simple mistake that almost any of us could make; he wasn't careless.
  2. and it's not hard to forget that if you borrow a device to do social media, that it will keep on showing your messages even once you have your original device back.
  3. and he kept both hands in his lap as he kissed her. The fact that he did not lift his right arm up to pull her close was very telling to me.
  4. Eric seems nice but I, personally, could not really respect someone whose grammar is not more or less perfect. "I seen". I cringe. As others have said, he also seems very young compared to her.
  5. Seems Max's girlfriend was the only one with some ethics when she made a comment about "invading someone's privacy."
  6. So Adam and Malia met at a "Yacht Certification Class" three weeks before coming on the boat. So basically they hire folks who know absolutely nothing about yachting and teach them port and starboard and a few other things and then have us pretend that they are actually accomplished boat people :)
  7. He knew perfectly well what those words "violent," "angry," and "aggressive" mean. Don't act stupid when informed that it has racial undertones and accuse Kenny of "playing the card."
  8. I realize that this is the bit of an issue I have with Bryan. He's really not my type (Will is) but he does seem nice.
  9. That made NO sense. They'd put the irrigation in right? So there is nothing left to do other than sprinkle some seed!
  10. Yes! And good looking too :)
  11. so so true. I was totally unimpressed. And it was clear Rachel was unimpressed as well.
  12. It occurred to me that Rachel cancelled the cocktail party because she wasn't going to be able to sit down in that dress without difficulty. Ever practical me thought "what kind of underwear do you wear with that dress? I saw that. I wondered "who'd they have to bribe to put his arm around Lee?"
  13. In the beginning of the show when they are sitting outside, I cracked up when they started into their heavy smooching and then the voice-over of Rachel is "I love my conversations with Bryan" LOL. The editors have some fun.
  14. I am watching the house on the hill, and did anyone else notice that they had two bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, and a third bedroom that gets nothing upstairs, and a HALF bath on the main floor. So if you've got a kid, or a guest, in the upstairs bedroom, they have to walk through someone's bedroom to take a shower...... I checked by rewinding, there is no hall access to either full bath.
  15. I got the impression they had moved away (on June's request) and that they could not hear her. I remember all the discussion here a few weeks ago about Luke's "fantasies" of Moira and June getting it on. Now we see Waterford thinks the same. Does that put a worse cast on Luke's musings? Are the screenwriters making a link between "harmless male fantasies" and what eventually happens in Gilead?
  16. Yes, it was so much worse here than in the "ceremony" scenes.
  17. those unlined "corset" dresses on 'Say Yes to the Dress' (yes I'm embarrassed to admit I sometimes watch it) are even worse IMHO. Why why why.
  18. why oh why are see through bridal dresses a thing?
  19. I thought Sandy didn't play for that team
  20. Didn't he say something like "in the future, I'll keep those thoughts to myself"? So he still thinks she sucks as a chief stew, he just won't say it. Gee thanks, guy.
  21. I thought Adam's 7 course "color" dinner was very pretty. That gal who neglected to say "no pork" on her preference sheet and then acted like a bitch was terrible ("plastic fantastic" good one Hannah). Saying she'd just pick it off, then asking for a chicken breast, then complaining about the salt. I think she just wanted to complain. But did he cheat by counting violet and purple as two different colors (though I would have called the violet course "pink" myself.
  22. I think I come from a similar socioeconomic class as Rachel. Actually she probably grew up more affluent than I did (my dad was an engineer, not a judge). I'm white. If some rapped at me growing up in "the hood" I would say WTF are you talking about???? I grew up in a nice NJ suburb and went to a nice private college. So yeah, it is at the very least WEIRD that he would use that word for her.
  23. Now my (very intelligent) husband does this all the time to me-- he says something ridiculously stupid, wondering whether I will actually believe he is *that* dumb. And usually I fall for it. I thought that's what Jack was doing it (why does he get a last name? There's no other Jack, is there?) And when Dean said "no that's a cork" Jack had this look on his face like, don't you see I was making a joke?
  24. A bunch of them were saying it, WTF was that? Do they have some kind of grammatically incorrect word-of-the-day toilet paper in that house or what? Even Peter, who generally comes across as intelligent, said it once. Someone upthread had a theory that the guys were told not to say "wrong reasons" anymore. So maybe some intern who doesn't know better offered this made-up word as a substitute :)
