  1. I don’t think so. Nat probably would’ve mentioned it if it did.
  2. Armani, Claire W, Ellie and Dani have been my favorites since Day 1. As each episode has aired nothing has happened to change my opinion on any of them. Except maybe to make me love them more. Claire is just a skosh fluffy by DCC standards but I think she looks fine and she can dance her “fluffy” fanny off so I’m there for it. I’m still baffled by how Annabelle was the highest scoring rookie at the beginning of training camp. That wacky board has my brow permanently furrowed in puzzlement. 🤔 Maybe it’s just me and maybe it’s because I like Kat (extra personality and all) but I was pretty sure she was joking about being point. I think she has enough self-awareness to know she’s not a technically strong dancer though she is a good performer. Every mistake doesn’t read all over her face and she doesn’t dissolve into tears at the drop of a hat unlike someone who shall remain nameless. There are always going to be ladies with better technique who pick up and retain choreography better than her so her chances of being point are slim and none. I’m really looking forward to solos and show group auditions. Come on Tuesday. 🥰
  3. Just cut Meredith already and put us all out of our misery. Every time we see her she’s either messing up the choreography, saying something delusional or crying. She should still be cried out from last season. Meredith convinced she’s in the top 36 ... the delusion is strong with this one. Apparently it hasn’t occurred to her that she only made the squad because they took 37 and Kelly ignored all of her professed standards. Do they really forget that they BARELY made it on to the squad and unless they want to end up a one and done they need to come back stronger. She’s making it very easy for them to cut her despite Kelly’s and Judy’s hemming and hawing and nonsense about Meredith losing her nonexistent “edge”.
  4. Tori also got a shoutout from Charm. I was somewhat surprised since I considered her one of the blender blondes. None of whom were getting much attention.
  5. I really like Jon Snow. I’m pretty sure I’m offended.
  6. They can be added to the list. If I had listed every questionable inclusion in either training camp or on the squad I would still be typing. Especially if I included some questionable exclusions.
  7. I agree, some of the ladies have saved themselves by looking great on the field after a “questionable” solo performance. As you said some have subpar choreography, some forget their choreography and some have choreography that they don’t have the skills to pull off. I mentioned Angela Rene before and her solo during her first year was awful. Kat forgot her choreography and what she pieced together was cringeworthy. The same thing happened to Melissa R during her Pink Panther solo. I remember Vivian trying a lyrical piece and it did not work for her. I’m still a little baffled about why Christina, whose solo looked like an aerobics workout, made it into training camp. She quit pretty quickly because she was LOST. Makes me wonder sometimes what in the world those judges are thinking. 🤔
  8. I’m a fan of Kat’s but given that she barely made the squad last season I feel that she needed to come back stronger. I was hoping she’d be much better at picking up choreography. The senior vets that are usually strong performers are less at risk than strugglers like Kat and Meredith. I wonder if they had the regular audition process how Kat and Meredith would have done up against some of these rookies. I’ve seen several struggle bus occupants not make it back for a 2nd season like Morgan, Ashley Pro and Breelan.
  9. Five Vets aren’t in the top 36 on Kelly’s board. The bottom Vets are Brennan, Hannah, Kat, Lily and Meredith, in that order. Lily and Meredith scored lower than all of the Rookies. The scoring system makes little to no sense to me.
  10. I had forgotten about the trio of Ashleys.
  11. I like Kat but even I can’t defend her coming back and not appearing to be a stronger dancer than she was last season. The same can be said of Meredith. She has a pretty face but that shouldn’t have been enough to get her on the squad. Kat’s solo last season was painful to watch but she isn’t the first to forget her choreography. Meredith’s didn’t make me cringe but I thought it was just meh. I still remember Angela Rene’s awful solo and I still wish Kitty hadn’t embarrassed Vivian into ditching her Tin Man solo. Man I would’ve loved to see the judges reaction to that. Makes me smile just thinking about it. I’ve got a list as long as my arm of women that shouldn’t have made it into training camp or made the squad but they did. Kelly will bend her rules to the point of breaking if she wants someone badly enough. Cally Fullerton never should’ve got a second chance at training camp. She still was an awkward mover unable to control her limbs. Catherine D got a second shot at training camp even though she still couldn’t dance. Kelsey is kept out of training camp because she is supposedly an ambassador risk but Yuko who can barely speak or understand english would apparently make a great ambassador. Go figure. Morgan struggled with memory mistakes all the way through training camp but she made the squad. Emily who had no projection, was as boring as the day is long and was called into the office about five times still made the squad. I’ve never, in 14 seasons, seen adjustments made to a uniform because a TCC didn’t look good in it. But for Meredith an exception is made and she even got to look at her very bad photos and then got a second photo shoot. I always thought looking bad in the uniform and not photographing well were grounds for being cut ... especially if you’re struggling in the dance studio. Obviously that doesn’t apply to everyone. I love watching the dancing, and uniform fittings and the other elements involved in making the team. The blatant favoritism drives me batty. The show would be much more enjoyable if the treatment of the ladies was more even handed and they were all held to the same standards. I will step down off my soapbox now. Thanks for listening (or not). 😊
  12. That’s like years ago when they had three Jordan’s in training camp. Jordan Baum, Jordan Ketchum and Jordan Chanley.
  13. I really like Hannah and was very surprised to see that she wasn’t included in the top 36 on Kelly’s board. What in the world kind of scoring system are they using that put Annabelle on the board as the highest scoring rookie. She’s been on the struggle bus since day one yet she outscored Elli, Armani, Dani and Claire W. I’m also baffled by why Hannah wasn’t in the top 36.
  14. I don’t recall them ever calling Madeline Malloy “Maddie”. They referred to her as Madeline or Madeline M. When I hear them refer to Maddie it’s always in reference to Madeline Massengill.
  15. Books are much better. The show is really different.
  16. Jovi has bad taste? He picked you didn’t he? Nuff said.
  17. Sacrilege. Being single is a fate worse than death.
  18. Logic? You’re expecting logical behavior from this collection of thimble wits? If so, you really haven’t been paying attention. 😜
  19. Uncle Beau already lived there. Asking him to leave is not cool. Your bunny boiler would just have to deal.
  20. It really was. Go ruin your own daughter’s wedding you stupid interfering hag. Oh right. Too late for that.
  21. I started watching Season 1 and was immediately turned off by all of the changes. I know that television is a different medium so adaptations are always different than the books upon which they are based but there were so many changes it didn’t feel like the same story to me. I stopped watching after a couple of episodes. I finally came back and finished both seasons. If I hadn’t read the books I’d probably think it was an okay series but having read the books I was disappointed in the number of changes. Some of the changes seem totally arbitrary and inexplicable. Why does Joey now live in CA instead of CO? Why is Joey, a very minor character, now having marital problems? Why does Jack’s mom need to be alive and why does he have to have a poor relationship with his father? Why, why, why??? It felt like they took the name of the book series, the names of the characters and the location and then wrote a different story? The characters seem different and they aren’t behaving like the inhabitants of Virgin River that I came to love. There are totally different interpersonal relationships on the show. Characters are missing and others have much larger roles on the show than they did in the books (yes Charmaine, I’m talking primarily about your obnoxious self). I loved Jack in the books. TV Jack is too short which I would probably have gotten past if they hadn’t also changed his personality. So this guy doesn’t look like Jack and he doesn’t act like Jack so he didn’t feel like Jack. I really wish I’d found the tv series first and then read the books after the show ended its run. It would be much less disappointing.
  22. Agreed. I’ve been waiting for someone to put her in her place. She is Jack’s ex-“girlfriend” (self-proclaimed), thus she has no right to information on Jack’s and certainly not Mel’s personal lives. When she asks her nosy questions I’ve been waiting for Jack and/or Mel to tell her it’s none of her darned business.
  23. If you only trust Brittany when you have line of sight you should go ahead and cut her loose.
