  1. She thought Dr Paradise would write her a few scripts and all would be well. But no, he wants her to go to the hospital, where's there's paperwork and blood tests and not a lot of coddling in this day of opioid abuse. Yay! Sounds good to me.
  2. I assume she's on some kind of assistance. Why wouldn't heart medication be covered? That's kind of basic stuff. Jeez, and now she's threatening suicide and wheezing in front of Dr Paradise. Looking for drugs. She makes me sick.
  3. Why does she think that smoking will be OK w/Dr Now? I'm pretty sure that none of the patients who have a need to 'show' Dr Now how great they are ever get the surgery.
  4. Wow - she's 39??? I don't recall paying much attention to her first show for some reason, so a lot will be new to me. I already hate how she speaks.
  5. "If Dr Now can't help me like he should..." Wha? The nerve!
  6. Yo, yo my people! No eating habit so far, I'll find something later.
  7. That's what I thought, but the last thing for her is the trip to the hair salon. I just went back and practically went frame by frame. Maybe they cut it. Oh well.
  8. Hi - I wonder if someone can help me find an episode. I thought I remembered Diana having a small gathering with ladies from her apartment building. If I recall, the ladies were a little dressed up - for their 15 minutes of fame, I assume. I bought the 'Where are the Now?' episode, thinking it was in there, but don't see it. Am I thinking of the wrong person? I looked to see if Diana was in a 3rd episode, but didn't see that, either. Do I have the right person? This would have been a successful obessee who was enjoying her new life. Thanks.
  9. How old is he? 60's? They could still be alive these days. My 90 yr old mother is still here and just had a pace maker put in Monday. My great aunt was over 100 when she died. So, maybe he has elderly parents he wants to provide for, especially if they were never able to save a lot of money. Some people don't change their beneficiary for reasons known only to them, if you get my drift. Some forget. Really. Nothing says you have to make your wife your beneficiary. When I was in law school, we read a few cases about people who didn't change from wife 1 to wife 2. If they've got wife 1's name, it goes to her. It's a contract.
  10. If you haven't seen 'The Long, Long Trailer,' you aren't fans of Lucy and Desi.
  11. OK, I got involved in Pinterest - what is Brianne's problem? How did they know she might get a blood clot?
  12. There is a comment on reddit that Rick didn't cheat - she did while in Houston. She also got into his military benefits and changed the beneficiary from his parents to her and used different social security numbers to buy stuff, ruining his credit. Rick and Jamie are suing Brianne for slander. I don't know if any of this is true. Whoever posted it is big mad. There's also a Starcasm post about Rick and the other woman (the friend who drove Brianne home for the surprise during her 1st season). So, could be one way, could be another. Don't shoot the messenger.
  13. How in the name of all that's holy are you sticking to the diet with a 62 lb weight gain?????
  14. OMGoodness - I don't know if I'll be able to take a conversation between these two Mensa members.
  15. I love it when Kassandra smiles - 'cause you know she'd like to smack the daylights out of a lot of these patients most of the time.
  16. I was thinking the same thing. I was carrying a lot of stuff and walking thru the Detroit terminal and thought I would die. It's no sin to take the golf cart. For some reason, coming back was no problem. Maybe I didn't have as much stuff on the return. Or having walked all over on vacation, I had a bit more stamina than when I started out.
  17. She's a big deal in the show's universe - Amber Rachdi. She's on Facebook and Instagram and still looking good.
  18. Who's this other chick? (who had to get the surgery rescheduled) and what is her story? I don't remember her.
  19. There's your typical overweight person and your morbidly obese person. There's a difference. I was in my 60's when I looked into it for diabetes. I'm plump, but they said I didn't need to lose any weight beforehand. I backed out after I learned that surgery for diabetes works best for newer diabetics or if you have the regular surgery, not the sleeve. I didn't want to get re-plumbed and it wasn't worth even getting the sleeve if I still had to take meds.
  20. Yo, yo, my people! My eating habit was 2 non-bun burgers and a big salad earlier in the day. I might have an Atkins shake later. I am working up to getting serious about OMAD again.
  21. And...Justin gets a rainbow at the end! Good night, everybody. See you next week.
  22. He had his own computer business. Owned his own house and worked from home. I imagine he could keep up with most of that from Houston or even in recovery from the skin surgery.
  23. Even though Maja didn't travel with a retinue like some of the others, she's just the same as far as an inability to GROW THE EFF UP. You don't need an entourage. You're OK on your own. People go away to college, to jobs, to travel and they do it on their own. All of these people say they can't function without their families. Well, families got them to 400-600+ pounds. They'd probably do pretty well without that so-called family support. I will give Grandma Maja a pass, because I assume grandparents are happy to see grandchildren, no matter how old they are.
