  1. This is bullshit! They should have showed us the entire banishment vote. It’s hilarious to me that Peter’s Pals made a deal with Parvati to vote for Phaedra in order for Parvati to save herself, and Peter’s Pals use that (their own deal) as evidence that Phaedra is a traitor. 😂😂😂
  2. I liked everything after the Nurys/Moriah elimination. I think the previous checkpoints with all the lifting and moving of heavy shit gave an edge to the men.
  3. If he still lives in Romania, which I will assume he does for now, then it will definitely be life-changing money. I agree. $60K is a nice check for second place. When she said that, the first thing I thought about was all those posts on social media that look like these people are on vacation 365 days a year. 😂
  4. That reunion that I will completely skip is going to be filled with people we forgot were even on this season. 😂
  5. That second place prize is a good chunk of money. I'm glad she got that if she couldn't get first place. I think if she would have stuck out the Sudoku puzzle when she started instead of going back and forth between the different stations, she would have won. However, I understand that sometimes a puzzle can start make to sense after you take a little break from it. I think they lost $16K on that first portion of the final. The second and third place prizes got reduced by a total of $16K across both.
  6. Berna... all the words. She said all the words. Lots of words. Complained the ENTIRE! TIME! If she comes back for future seasons, at least everyone knows how she performs.
  7. I can't even be mad at Emanuel. He completely murdered this entire final.
  8. I had to listen to this again because I definitely wasn't paying much attention the first time. About 1 hour and 4 minutes in, Sandra gives a little tea on the torch-lighting (ceremony?) from the previous episode about CT picking John over Trishelle.
  9. They've been waiting a long time for season 4 of All-Stars. We've had how many flagship and spin-off seasons since season 3 of All-Stars?
  10. I'm not sure I consider that a crack. My initial response to that was maybe she did and we didn't see... but that also got me thinking about her tells broadly. Maybe she is showing more "cracks" or "tells" that we don't see. I know, for myself, the exit interviews and podcast interviews really filled in a lot of gaps as to why people thought Dan and Parvati were traitors. They gave a lot more detail about their thought process and what led them to the conclusion that Dan and Parvati were traitors than what we saw in the episodes. While I understand the edits we see are trying to weave together a story, the interviews gave a lot more details on Parvati's tells and Dan's tells than we ever saw in the episodes, especially the first batch of episodes that came out. It took a little while for the episodes to show us those tells that people were mentioning in the interviews. I'm thinking the same may apply to Phaedra, because they never show us any suspicion about Phaedra until Dan calls her out. That makes me think that the catalyst to Phaedra being in the hot seat is Dan blowing up Phaedra's spot.
  11. Well, nearly half the table votes in lock step with Trishelle. She needs to convince people outside of her group to vote for Phaedra. If Phaedra makes it to the end and anyone in Peter’s group makes it to the final, Phaedra is not likely to win. They would vote Phaedra out in the final. if I know Sandra’s game the way I think I do, I think Sandra is also a swing. Like CT, I think Sandra would flip if she believes the numbers aren’t on her side. Sandra may believe that Phaedra is a traitor, and a traitor you know is better than a traitor you don’t know. Sandra may believe that Phaedra wouldn’t murder her so she may keep her around for now.
  12. I was not invested in anyone coming into this season. I didn't care who stayed and who went. For the most part, I still feel that way. I don't care enough about the remaining finalists to root for them to win, with the exception of Nurys because she was dealt such a shitty hand in the end. They could say "no one gets the prize" at the end, and that would be even more entertaining. In past seasons, I watched for my interest in the people. They had an entertaining crop of characters. After War of the Worlds 2, it just feels like I'm watching because of my loyalty to the show rather than my interest in the cast. The Challenge has been my absolute favorite reality show for a long time now, and I watch because that fondness of the show and nostalgia that I built over all those years. This season gave a little taste of that by bringing in the old vets. I think that's what TPTB over at MTV and/or B&M must believe their audience feels by the fact that they brought back some of the old vets. They did it last season too. The old school vets have been the "special sauce" or "secret formula" that they've been betting on.
  13. I agree. In addition to that, I don’t think that losing a particular game or not getting far in the game means a person was a bad player at that game. A great deal of the time, people who are great players hit a patch of bad luck, and they get voted out. For example, Cirie had a great social game on her last season of Survivor, a good enough social game to carry her to the Final TC. Personally, I thought Cirie was great at playing Survivor, and I thought she was a great strategic player even though she never won. However, she ran into some bad luck. She received no votes to be sent home, but was still sent home (or rather sent to the Jury). Cirie’s social game is the reason she was able to win season 1 of The Traitors. Cirie was always great at building trust with people, even in Survivor.
  14. I'm loving this season's cast. I feel like they're playing much harder than the season 1 cast. I think Cirie would have been a great to this season if she wasn't on Season 1. If Kate can keep her cool and continue acting the way she normally does, I don't think people would suspect her. I don't think Kate will turn it down because she wants to stay in the game, and moreso, because I think she wants to be a traitor. I think she's even said she wanted to be a traitor. The only reason I think Trishelle (and Peter's Pals) is stuck on Phaedra is because Dan called her out. Phaedra is playing the role of traitor perfectly. The only time you see a crack in Phaedra is when she's being publicly called out. Dan blew up Phaedra's spot. If it were not for Dan, Phaedra wouldn't have so many eyes on her.
  15. That's so true 😂 They look like a group of oddballs. It kinda feels like you tuned into the wrong show. I'm usually rooting for someone to lose in these finals, like Fessy anytime he's on; Kaycee because she usually skates by... but not really caring who wins. I tune in to watch people lose. I'd like for Nurys to win because everyone else sucked. No, I haven't seen any cast interviews anywhere about this episode. I guess Jay was supposed to be on The Challenge podcast but he was a no-show. Corey has redeemed himself a little but I'm still #TeamNurys. This can't be a group project. Nurys needs to get it together and pull out the win. Berna is dragging everyone down... and frankly so is Colleen. Colleen clearly works out, and she appears physically fit and all of her fitness seems like it's for nothing. Separately, Moriah is actually exceeding any expectations I had of her. Her fitness seems to have some real-world application. One thing kinda cracks me up about Berna is that while I understand English is not her first language, she interprets English in a very literal way. She doesn't seem to understand American or British idioms and/or figurative language.
  16. When Peter and Parvati were talking about calling a truce, it just looked like Peter was gazing into Parvati's eyes and was about to give her a rose.
  17. Oh shit! John came in like a sniper at that round table! Shots fired! I really thought John was going to go along with the plan to keep Parvati. They got me good! Turns out that John is better actor than Parvati. I really didn't expect him to switch gears to Parvati the way he did. Haggis! Haggis! Any challenge with rodents will have a 100% success rate of me quitting. Sheree and Phaedra remind me of my aunties. At least we don't have to hear Kevin keep saying "poverty" instead of "Parvati."
  18. At first, that's what I thought. Then the question becomes did they technically finish if they got the wrong answer? If getting the wrong answer means they would have had to go back and get another box, to me that means Berna and Corey also timed out. They didn't really complete the checkpoint. To me, that puts Berna and Corey behind Nurys and Colleen. Nurys and Colleen got 1 box, and made it halfway with their second (correct) box. Berna and Corey got one box and their correct box is still sitting at the starting line. ETA: I completely misread your post. I agree with your thought. We're here! #TeamNurys
  19. I agree. I don't think they could have started placing the ropes until they have gotten all the ropes back to the symbol. Admittedly, I'm not sure either. I'm guessing. However, if Berna had quit, they just would have had to adapt, like they did when Ben was medically DQed on season 1 of USA. Someone always had to be left without a partner and had no chance to sabotaged. Someone always had to do double the work, and if not, they timed out. Justine timed out on her solo portion, while everyone else had partners and finished. I'm primarily relying on the fact that they didn't say it. On The Challenge USA, they explicitly said if your partner quits, you're also disqualified.
