Eve Arden fan saying Hello while agreeing that, yes, Diane has had some EA moments! Hopefully, she will have more with the new writers on board.

I had a quicktears moment at the closeup of the photograph a the end. Clearly a relative of Mr. Johnson or maybe even him. (How old is he? Only the Shadow knows.)

I enjoyed the cemetery scenes with Wagger and Scott. Not because of Wagger but because of Scott. In those scenes he was Scott, not Scotty, if that makes any sense. Plus, he looked damn fine with darker hair and clothes that actually fit.

Perfection! Lavery Rage is rooted not just in anger but in self-righteousness. And enhanced by bad acting!

I admit that my heart broke, just a little, for Tracy. Jane Elliott is brilliant.

Well, Joss, that's what happens when you date someone who works for a coffee importer. <rolls eyes>

There's something about Cameron Mathison that, eventually, I want to punch every character he portrays. It happened with Ryan on All My Children and now on GH. Granted, a lot of it has to do with the writing, but credit must given to the lack of nuance in his acting. I apologize for repeating what others had already said about CM's acting "style." My brain isn't quite working at full speed today.

And, hopefully, it will be safe for Moses to return from Paris.

Michael's office decor reminds me of my dentist's office in the mid-70s, and even then, I thought it looked cheap. And depressing.

I wish the producers had modeled the Emmys for the In Memorium segment. This year's Emmys got it right. The producers managed not to sacrifice the musical performances or the visuals.

I used to write a column about All My Children and, therefore, was forced to endure CM' s horrific lack of acting ability. Oh, the joy of being able to FF'd through his one-note line readings! Nina's mistake was not that she reported them but that she didn't think through the repercussions in her own life and that makes her, well, human. Note to Carly: Smug is not a fashion statement.

The book isn't being released until next month. He is working on the audio version. This Esme storyline feels empty without Kevin's involvement. I remember his feelings of guilt because he was dealt a better hand than Ryan when it came to childhoods.

It does not matter how many times I watch those scenes, I dissolve into tears every time. One cannot say it was soap writing and acting at its finest, it was writing and acting at its finest, it went beyond genre.

I'm sorry it's being canceled; I'm glad we are getting a final season. I thoroughly enjoy this show, as dark as it is!

Watching Jeff Kober reminds me that GH has several great actors. Now, if it only had decent writers. Notice I'm not even wishing for great writers, just decent ones. Sigh.

Re: Monica & cancer. I remember a scene where she was brushing her hair and noticed the large amount of hair that was falling out with each brush stroke. Another scene where she was screaming with rage about how her body had betrayed her by having cancer. Her scene partner was either Alan or Sean.

Does this mean Beau is going to be a single parent or am I horribly confused?

I'm always happy to see Christopher Cousins (Mr. Longevity) no matter how stupid the story! And, yes, please, hire a baby nurse for the twins, it's not these people cannot afford one.

If you are designing a space to be used for events, it would be a good idea to consult with a professional event planner when designing the space. Just saying.

The best part about the new season? The name "Allison Victoria" is nowhere to be found.

Let's have a black painted wall behind the public bathroom sink so that every splash drop will dry and show up! How classy !!!

Bruce Greenwood stepped in for a fired Frank Langella in Netflix's "Fall of the House of Usher." His reduced scenes may be the result of that. Just guessing.

Any money on Jess appearing at the last possible moment and confessing? Sure, you laugh now...

Battle On The Beach - General Discussion
tessabq replied to LittleIggy's topic in Battle On The Beach
Imagine 12 people sitting on that banquette. 4 on each side and 4 across the back. All settled in and enjoying the meal. Suddenly, one person sitting on the back needs to use the loo. 4-5 people have to struggle out of that thing and then either a) stand around waiting for the diner to return or b) struggle back in only to struggle back out and in again when the diner returns. (Can you tell I'm not a banquette fan?Lol)
