  1. The last song I remember Toni singing was released in 1996. Who the hell are the rest of them?
  2. Holy. Hell. They don't even know what to do with the ones they have...
  3. I'm gonna need ice cream with chocolate sauce to get through the rest of this mess.
  4. He probably doesn't know who she is, either. He loses interest after ovulatin' (whoopee!).
  5. If he's not allowed to screw hookers then SHE shouldn't be allowed to have friends, either! 😆 She did it last season, too. We had some convos about it. It's MUCH worse this season, though. I'm guessing sugar mamas (or daddies) or drugs.
  6. I feel pretty confident that I won't get sucked into one* because A) I'm from a holler in Appalachia and we're inherently leery and suspicious of new people and outsiders and B) I have no desire or motivation to engage in any self-improvement at this stage of my life. * A cult DID try to suck me in once. They were recruiting on my college campus in Nashville and I got totally love bombed. They were friendly as hell, but they lost me when they started talking about "church." I've since read a ton about them. I dodged a bullet.
  7. Theory: Angela and Tiny were never a real couple. (Hence the reason she never filed the license.) She's been with Ross the whole time. - Tiny was a typo but I decided to leave it.
  8. About 15 weeks? He had his surgery. Infection was way down in his jawbone. Ugh. He's in pain but better.
  9. Me too, especially when so many women have legitimate fertility problems. A good friend went through IVF and got pregnant with twins last year. They were both stillborn. This shit is no joke. I felt the same way about Their using it as a fake storyline.
  10. I'm watching with Cami. She's ready for Fall... I hope that Chrissy Teigen isn't watching this mess tonight. ☹️
  11. Yo, home fries! Wuz up? Let's do this THANG! (I'm changing my vocabulary in honor of Sarah. )
  12. I think the desire to belong to a community that's "making the world a better place" and explains their place in the universe plays a big part. I believe in mysticism and I have a lot of the same interests (tarot, paranormal, psychics, etc) but the majority of my similar -minded friends and I are loners. As a whole we're not really joiners...
  13. They do the same in a lot of pyramid schemes-sit around and talk about how they're making the world healthier or giving women the chance to be their own bosses or whatever, but all they're really doing are recruiting new members.
  14. I agree. "Sex cult" sounds more exciting, but Sarah was right in this past episode that there are nuances to all of this. I can't get over how much these people pat themselves on their backs and congratulate each other for being such huge ethical humanitarians... without doing a damn thing. The "important work" they were doing all existed within the NXIVM vacuum. It's fascinating. At least when Jim Jones first started out he was actually trying to improve race relations and saying things that were well ahead of their time. These people say nothing. They do nothing. You could argue that none of their actions benefitted or connected to the outside world, but yet they're all carrying on about the important work they were doing. Fascinating.
  15. In another statement she said
  16. Ivy Nevare's victim statement at Clare's sentencing goes into a lot of detail. https://frankreport.com/2020/09/30/ivy-nevares-complete-statement-at-clare-bronfmans-sentencing-hearing/
  17. I love my husband but if he sent me a picture of his dick I'd have to assume it was just a joke. I'm trying to figure out what kind of woman is like, "He lives with his Mother Wife, is misogynistic, has larger breasts than me, doesn't work outside of the show, and seems to put love of cats over love of partners, but at least he's got a rocking 3" penis!" (I've seen pictures and video, 3" is being nice.)
  18. They did! And long after other publications ceased literary submissions, Playboy was still publishing short stories and novellas by really famous writers. @AZChristian, it sounds weird but some of the authors who wrote short stories, serials, or articles for the magazine: Margaret Atwood, Stephen King, Ian Fleming, Truman Capote, Jack Kerouac, Hunter S. Thompson, Kurt Vonnaget, Norman Mailer, Roald Dahl, Ray Bradbury, Gabriel Marquez Garcia...
  19. Reimagining common word definitions is one of the trademarks of a cult. It's so weird. The psychology behind it is that you take a word people commonly used, one they're familiar with, and then you tweak it just enough to create a new definition for it-one that suits your needs. Keith does it with ethical, suppressors, victim, and parasite (to name a few). I loved it at the Dalai Lama meeting when Keith said, "The factual information isn't reality."
  20. Just lay a lunchable out on a cutting board. They won't know the difference.
  21. Coltee: I sent the dick picks because that's what I do for my friends... Suddenly the fact that he lives alone with his BFF, his Ma, makes sense.
  22. Tooth pain takes over everything. My husband's been in horrendous pain from his abcess for the past week. The antibiotics help settle the infection, but it basically hurts to move his mouth. He's actually looking forward to his oral surgery this week. IMO the only way Angela could act like that was if they gave her good pain medicine.
