I also don't understand why all the women are walking around in Frederick's Of Hollywood stiletto heels all the time. Guess it brings in more business for podiatrists and orthopaedic surgeons! Finally, you are right about Helen winning the best dressed category. Classy!

We could stream it on Hulu on CBS for a few days. The episodes would expire and drop off after a handful of days. Even if the show got picked up by another network it would be months before any new episodes could air. I'm now jonesing for the next season of Sweet Magnolias. No telling when that will be out. 😒

I myself was a pretty morose and moody teenager so it's a little easier for me to relate. It is not pretty to watch as an adult is it? Fortunately for me, Uncle Catfish and I had male offspring. If we had spawned a teenage drama queen I would probably be in prison right now!

I wholeheartedly agree. Ralph Waite and Michael Learned had great chemistry onscreen. Whoever cast them deserves a gold medal!

Watched the new episode this morning. The Zacharian girls did a great job helping their dad. It has been revealed that Katie is having a little girl. Anybody know when she is due? Let the name suggestions begin!

Having trouble remembering the last time I gave Uncle Catfish something I had peed on....giftwrapped or otherwise. Just sayin.

I agree with the three men situation being too much. (Nurse Dennis would love it though!!!) Carol would have worn Dr. Lewis out after a while anyway. My money is on Dr. Frost. He is just whimsical and free spirited enough to tolerate what Dr. Jacobs called Carol's " I need to see the manager energy". On the other hand he has been shown to be a skilled "old school" (that term makes me cringe) physician who as a contemporary can help guide Carol and be a balancing influence. Does anyone want to see Carol back with her ex husband? Does he even want her back? Is he going to be a big pain in the rear? So many questions.....

I think the show is on my Hulu as well. Can they bring this show back???? Pretty Please!!!!!!! And the other one where the designer/seamstress lady would rework an old gown or the consultant guy would try to sell the bride a new dress. Some of the creations the designer presented were so lovely and unique!

Just watched the first episode "Old House To Sold House". I like that it is a half hour show. None of the drama or the termites have eaten the plumbing crisis situations. It was wham bam thank you ma'am! The remodel was very cute, but the nearly $300,000 asking price for a 900 square foot one bathroom shoebox was pretty mind blowing! In my neck of the woods that would buy you Stately Wayne Manor! I'm giving this show the thumbs up. Good job HGTV.

I'm in agreement with you and Jeeves about the family pictures. It is beyond me why people want to plaster the walls with pictures of themselves that they leave up for thirty years. My brother in law's house is like a shrine to his daughter (who is now 34 years old). All the high school cheerleading stuff is still up in the rec room. There are even photos in the guest bathroom. Guess this is our sister in law's doing, but it creeps me out on the rare occasions I make it up there to visit them. Have not seen this show yet. Will check it out.

Just watched this today. Enjoyed the interaction between Lexie and Dr. Frost. Especially when Dr. Frost kept Nurse Dennis's Snickerdoodle. The ensemble is getting better every episode.

You are right about Lauren. She dresses very well. Jinger is starting to look awfully skinny to me. Maybe the suit in the picture is too big for her. Jeremy's clothes are too tight for him (is this the style right now?)?? If his jacket sleeves were just a little shorter and he was sporting a bowtie he would be veering into Pee Wee Herman territory. The other girl in the photo is dressed a little old, but she looks more put together than the Vuolos.

The idiom actually is "kit and caboodle". I found an excellent explanation of the saying on Grammarist. It is an oldie but goodie!
