  1. Again, even a broken clock is right twice a day.
  2. Aww, I actually like it when Steve Kornacki subs for someone - he's probably my favorite of the subs. I was part of Rachel's normal audience who was watching the debates. I was initially very confused as to why they were not on MSNBC. As far as the debates themselves? Oy, madonn'! There's a lot I could say, but I'm not sayin' it. A lot I could say... (with apologies to The Sopranos for the line.)
  3. I like DeCourcey and the female Lebanese/Persian detective. I hope the rest of them get what's coming to them.
  4. Joe mentioned something this morning about the fact that Trump used to contribute to Nancy Pelosi's campaigns. Perhaps this is why she's so loath to impeach him. In other observations, does anyone else hear an annoying generator sound that apparently comes from the remote bunker?
  5. Holy crap! Joe managed to find the one person in the world (well, at MSNBC) that I would side with him against.
  6. The only thing I noticed in the 5 minutes that I watched is that I can no longer look at Joe without seeing Gumby.
  7. Even a broken clock is right twice a day.
  8. That's perfect - we just need to find a picture of Gumby with an anus for a mouth.
  9. Shaker Heights is very nice. There are still pockets of niceness on the East Side.
  10. I can see why. I'm still in Cleveland. I did terrible things in a previous life.
  11. I gotta say, I loved the interviews with both Bernie and Kamala Harris this week. I thought they were substantive and showcased the candidates well. I especially loved that Kamala Harris was the one candidate that I've seen who was visibly angry (although still professional) when she was discussing Trump's poor performance and his attempts to distract the public with his carnival barker tactics.
  12. Then her complicit, hypocritical self shouldn't have voted for him. She should resign from MSNBC. I expect to see her running both sides of her mouth on Morning Joe, but I was beyond appalled when she spouted this same bullshit on All In With Chris Hayes last night. Disgraceful.
  13. Is Kentucky ready for a non-binary senator?
  14. I'm still enjoying this show. Even my Jersey ass has to watch it with the closed captions on. What language do they even speak in Bosstin? Cathy Ryan is the biggest stone cold badass of the bunch here. I'm gonna make sure she has some money in her hand, indeed.
  15. Is there a forum where we can discuss the debates?
  16. Chris Matthews' town hall with Dayton, Ohio voters had to be the most disjointed and incoherent news event I've seen in quite some time. And I watch at least a few minutes of Morning Joe almost every morning.
  17. I liked it. Much like the quoted article said, I had to pay attention and I turned on the closed captioning. There's a lot going on here.
  18. Well, Beto O'Rourke's segment was certainly a prime example of Theater of the Delusional.
  19. Mika's making the "I just smelled a fart" face because people in Congress haven't read the Mueller report and she's acting like the churchlady about it. My question is "Has she (or anyone on the Morning Joe panel) read it?" Yeah. I thought not.
  20. Thank God for meowmommy. An oasis of sanity in a desert of whatever it is we have now. These were the same things that made me stabby about the town hall. I thought I would give her a chance, being a fair-minded progressive, but all of her "plans" boiled down to "I'm going to tax the oil industry, I'm going to take away their subsidies and God help them if they try to move out of America. Oh, yeah, and Santa Claus is going to come EVERY night!" At one point Chris Hayes even pointed out to her that she was running for President, not Queen of the Universe (or something to that effect).
  21. I heard the same note of deadpan sarcasm this morning when Willie referred to Milania as the First Lady.
