I ‘ve been watching this over a period of time instead of binging. I quite like the documentary plus “movie” aspects. Having actual historians and archaeologists sharing their knowledge on one of the greatest warriors to exist makes Alexander seem to be more human than mythical. He has always been one of my favourite historical figures and I learned much about the reasons behind many of his actions.

Drew, I can believe that prison was a terrible experience for you. BUT how can you throw that in the face of a woman who was put into a 20 year long coma by her own mother, had her babies stolen from her then woke up to find she had slept for two decades? Nina ended up a bit deranged ( stealing Avery from Ava’s body ) and did terrible things which she has apologized for over and over. Having to watch smug Carly smirk at Nina from the elevator was pretty rage inducing. Enough show ! Stopping beating us about the head with how fabulous she is. 🤮

I enjoyed the cemetery scenes between G H and ME . It seemed quite honest and realistic. Finn is frustrated as a scientist and doctor that he cannot cure his father while Gregory is struggling to keep himself together and be present for his family. I also love the dynamics between GH, JE and NLG. The mature conversations along with their interactions are fine examples of how older people can be with each other. I will park my butt at the Sprina table even though I could be their grandmother. It’s fun to watch a young couple in love.

Thank you for your terrific insight jsbt. I like Nina with CW as her portrayer. Absolutely hated her before. The piling on is way OTT and needs to be toned down or just stopped. Her detractors sound so hypocritical in their attacks. Drewfus is such a tool. Now he wants revenge on Nina because he lost time with his daughter ? Look in the mirror and you will see exactly who was the cause of your separation from Scout. This character has really lost his lustre.

Say what you want about Esmé , she has been a very good mother to Ace. I fully expect her to lose her shit. That’s what I would do and I had normal parents.
