  1. Bethenny really hates Luanne. She was just livid in that argument. Probably because Luanne doesn't back down and stays calm and aloof and it gets under Beth's skin. It was like watching the NY version of that "I'm a rich bitch" ATL fight between NeNe and Sheree, in the season when NeNe had blown up and was on Glee and everyone in the cast had to kowtow to her. Except Sheree knew her when and wasn't going to let NeNe forget it. Luanne was the Countess when Beth was passing out samples in the grocery store. And neither of them has forgotten that.
  2. Carole, the one who is so cool and above it, sure looked peeved when she couldn't get all the gossip on the dry cleaning party out of Jules before Dorinda got to Beth's party. And then Miss Chill-n-Over-It says she can't stay under the same roof as Luanne? Carole, you ain't Bethanny. You don't have that kind of pull. Also, seriously, why do they care if Luanne sleeps with a lot of men? None of these people are "traditionalists". Andy said on WWHL tonight next week's episode is one of the top five RHoNY episodes of all time, and it all happened in two and half hours in Dorinda's house.
  3. If Cameran and Whitney were the stars of the show (instead of Kathryn), what would the show be about? Cameran recounting conflicts with her husband, who we have never and will never see or hear from, about her vague feelings on having children? Riveting. Whitney is even less suitable to the lead. He let his only actually activity in Charleston, that restaurant, wither on the vine, and no one is watching this show to watch him putter around in LA. And, more importantly, he is unwilling to show any emotion-positive or negative. He's never very happy, sad, mad, etc. Remember how appalled he was that TRav cried on camera? He doesn't have to cry, but complete reserve isn't entertaining. I don't even understand why someone who wants to be so guarded would think he wants to be the lead on a reality show.
  4. How is LeeAnne making her living in Society when she has such poor social skills? I felt for Stephanie at that lunch, when she was darting her eyes around, trying to stay engaged as LeeAnne masturbated to her own life story.
  5. This show would be so so dull if Whitney was the central character. He is not likable and he is painfully unfunny. Evidently he wants to be a major part of the show, but he is so stilted and awkward, even when he is talking with Shep and TRav.
  6. Hahaha! Craig totally nailed Whitney and everyone there knew it.
  7. I thought this cast was the one that got along the best?! These women seem like they truly, deeply, despise each other in very serious and meaningful ways. Like, not just gossiping run amok, but like, I absolutely cannot abide a single thing about this worthless trash person.
  8. There sure is a messy dance going on between them. She wants more attention than he wants to give her so she keeps upping the her demands for attention (the bunny rabbit, the lap dance, the big family BBQ, THIS SHOW) and he keeps engaging and reacting less. It wasn't a coincidence that the guy he went and had a drink with was Stephanie's husband, who he knew was also coming to the BBQ. Arriving with him cut way back on the drama around Bryan's entrance.
  9. I felt bad for LeeAnne, too, but not because of her background. Unless you are Cruella Deville and are truly always malicious, it has to hurt and be humiliating to have your best friend tell you everyone she meets in town talks shit about you. Especially since a lot of those people are probably people LeeAnne considers friends. There had to be a more tactful way of proving you are a good friend. Also, I'm skeptical that so many people would run down LeeAnne to Tiffany if these are people Tiffany had just met and if Tiffany had made it clear she and LeeAnne were close friends. I think it is more likely Tiffany downplays their friendship. Regarding Brandi's husband, I would bet he was one of those husbands who said she could do the show but he didn't want to be involved and now he is stuck filming scenes with her.
  10. Since Cameran seems to think that being a mother means you can't go out to lunch or dinner or parties, it's no wonder she doesn't want to have a baby.
  11. Did anyone catch what Shep said after he spoke with Kathryn and confronted Landon about the non-invite? Something like, "Why does this always happen, Landon?" or "Here we are again, Landon"? It made me think he'd had experience with her excluding people in the past. Also, I think Landon is lying about having invited Kathryn because I think Landon would have thrown a fucking fit if Kathryn had lied about it. Landon barely even mustered a denial.
  12. This is the first season I've followed since Bethenny's been back and while I don't hate watching her, I do hate the long, dominant shadow she casts over everything and the way everyone else defers to her. Why doesn't she have her own show anymore? She and Carole could be on it together and they could salvage this franchise with an updated cast. They could air back-to-back. It's not like Bravo has a full schedule of Must See TV winners. I mean, Jet Set? Recipe for Deception? They've got lots of space to fill.
  13. The way LeeAnne talks about who writes checks and who has deep pockets and how many dollars everyone donates is so vulgar.
  14. Kathryn was born into the same elite, out-dated iron-clad layer of Charleston society as Thomas and Shep and Dani. Landon wasn't. Thomas and Kathryn's messiness makes them less desirable than Shep or Dani, who remember turned Thomas down in Season 1, but they were born into that rarefied social class and their memberships there seem irrevocable, no matter how out of control they get. Landon, and, probably, Patricia and Whitney, are insanely jealous that Kathryn is such a fuck-up and still gets that place in society. Contrast their behavior with how gracious the super-secure Dani was towards Kathryn. Landon can only reach those heights through marriage to either Shep, who isn't interested, or Thomas, who she's hoping is desperate enough to settle for her. Obviously, making it on her own as a young divorcee was too hard a row.
  15. Doesn't Bravo get a set percentage of any business a Housewife spins off of the show? I always figured that was why he had the women on to perform their songs on WWHL. To me, Carole is worse than Bethanny. Beth just spews her bitter shit everywhere, uncontrollable, compulsively, alienating everyone from her ex-husband to the RHoBH to Martha Stewart, sometimes to her own extreme detriment. Bethanny hurts no one more than she hurts herself and she knows it. Carole consistently punches down. The new girl, the HW without a contract, the guy Bethanny doesn't like are all easy targets. She wouldn't dare step to Ramona, Bethanny or Dorinda.
  16. Cary and her husband obviously have a lot more money, standing and connections than any of these other women, so I thought it was cool that she was real enough to be like "You have to be born into Dallas high society and have a billion dollars." She didn't front like she was a member of high society, or that she aspired to be part of it. No wonder LeeAnne hates her. Also, Cary was so clearly repulsed by TRav on WWHL!
  17. She's probably so thin for the same reasons as Carole and Aviva and Lee Radziwell and Gwyn Paltrow and present-day Bethenny are: because they think it makes them look chic, sophisticated and younger. I think they limit their eating so they look a certain way, but the only one who I'd guess has had the actual pathology of anorexia is control-freak, self-loathing Bethenny a few years ago, when she was wearing her daughter's clothing on Instagram. I can't stand Carole. She has always been so arrogant and dismissive. At least the other women answer for the insensitive things they say. And why does she have to make fun of how John looks? She looks like a scarecrow with buckteeth.
  18. Kim is an alcoholic, but she is also a huge entitled mean asshole. She has some nerve coming out and giving her snotty opinions on how other people behaved on the show this season knowing the history of her own messy embarrassing behavior. She has absolutely zero self-awareness or humility. If this were any of the other franchises, they would have laid her low for opening her mouth to judge/mock Eileen.
  19. No matter how nasty and ugly she is willing to be towards Kathryn to curry Thomas's favor, Landon will never be more than worthy of a hook-up for Thomas. Landon, your ancestors didn't have the foresight to wash up on shore in South Carolina, and buy up a bunch of human beings so that 400 years later you'd be considered South Carolina high society and therefore worthy of a layabout like Shep or a belligerent drunk like TRav. I'd feel sorry for her if she wasn't such a jerk. Talk about acting against your own self-interest. Why she and Cameran are willing to help bolster the Charleston outdated, misogynistic caste system by venerating Thomas Ravenal is beyond me.
  20. Aren't the other women potential donors to these charities? As in, actually giving money to support the charity, which is the whole purpose of all these events LeeAnn is so torqued up about? Do you think the people in charge of these charities want non-donor LeeAnn trying to intimidate them and their checkbooks into not attending because they don't pass her stringent evaluation?
  21. Anyone else remember that floparoo from Bravo a few years back, Dallas Most Eligible? Andy still hasn't cracked Dallas, despite its reputation for over the top bragginess and flash. LeeAnn, you are the hired help, not Lynn Wyatt. Get over yourself. I kind of wonder if it would even be possible to start a successful RH franchise from scratch at this point or if the formula is just to pat and the really good potential cast members are scared off.
  22. Why was it so gross and upsetting to the women that James said, "And you still took your pants off that night", but Schwartz saying, "He's had his dick in Katie" was just uproariously funny?
  23. These people drink like the cast of the Real World: Las Vegas.
  24. Thomas doesn't need to give Kathryn a house South of Broad and money to buy new lash extensions, but he needs to provide her with child support payments. She's obviously doing the vast amount of the child care and he has plenty of money. He can hate her all he wants and, frankly, he can be as absentee a father as he wants, but he needs to provide for them financially. Whose fault the pregnancies are, who is a bigger moron, and who is the bigger trash bag of a person are all debatable points, but he needs to consistently and adequately support his children. Period.
  25. Watching this series has been like watching the ESPN 60 For 60 about Michigan's Fab Five, hoping that this time Chris Webber won't call that non-existent time-out and get called for a technical. But, no C Webb really did blow it and so did the OJ jury. After Darden's so-powerful closing argument tonight, I wonder how the jurors sleep at night.
