  1. It did make me laugh when he described why he invited it - shopping and cooking was just so much work. Well, yeah, that's life.
  2. I got a ticket! Not to see it in London sadly but to see the live cast of the show at a movie theatre.
  3. Natalie Cassidy actually said that Sonia killed Lucy! It was one of those awards shows that seem to happen every week and they interviewed cast members and she said she killed Lucy. She acted like she was joking but it all makes sense now. Hmm, who else is missing from the Square. Maybe that is also why Mr. Papadopolous is never seen.
  4. I was surprised (and sad) neither one got FJ. And that none of them knew the answer about the stamp - my name is Jenny so I kept yelling it over and over.
  5. I have a new theory - I think Sonia killed Martin weeks ago and that's why we never see him.
  6. Thanks for answering my question! Its probably cheaper for the costume budget too to just have the sash as opposed to prison uniforms. Billy is such an idiot. Maybe he will go to jail for burning the passport (I'm assuming its a crime). Its just a year. Quit whining about it.
  7. Rachel has really been on fire this week. I've been feeling really angry about how people have been convicting Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl in the media and I'm glad she has been talking about it. And, she's been fair - she's pointing out both sides have been doing it and showed that his Republican Senator has been pretty disgusted by this also. I wonder if she will be on tonight - she hasn't been on the last two Fridays.
  8. Thanks! That's what I thought. Sort of like Dawn from Buffy. And just as annoying. I guess they needed a bad guy since Phil was on the run, and Den and Andy were about to get murdered.
  9. Jake wore it and also Janine and whatshername that Janine pinned the murder on. Its just different from what Americans wear in prison....or on tv shows set in prison....that I was curious. Hopefully you guys don't have first hand knowledge :-)
  10. That makes sense. We should just try to be careful. And, if we mess up, then we can just criticize each other. Though, Dot would say to that (pause and light cigarette) "judge, not, lest, ye, be judged."
  11. I started watching, hmm, around the time I think right before the Slaters arrived in the Square so if stuff happened before that I'm not sure (except what I read on Wikipedia). Characters and actors leave and return so many times - there are many that were on before I started watching and left so if and when they return they are new to me. Here's another question (maybe we need a section for questions) - Johnny Allen. Was he actually one before 2005 or is it someone people talked about and never saw. He seems to have a past there but Wikipedia says 2005 was his first appearance. Hee, maybe I'm thinking too much about these characters.
  12. I never quite understood that - well, you can get on the tube and get a job somewhere else in London or turn tricks. I'll turn tricks! Though, logically speaking (heh) when Dean opens his saloon, there would be jobs there. At least sweeping up and washing hair. But it seems like Bianca is going to do something stupid with those clothes. Question for the Brits. Whenever someone is visited in jail, they have on an orange sash like thing that reminds me of a school crossing guard. Does anyone know what that is?
  13. The person I was going to mention and then thought twice about it is
  14. I think you might have to have two separate threads for each character. For example with Ian . While you can spoil tag future talk, it might get a little confusing to remember what time period you are talking about. Of course, some things are always the same no matter the time period such as wow, Ian is an idiot.
  15. Part of me would always have worried about doing that because sometimes you can know too much about a subject and it just overwhelms your brain when you are asked about a specific question. Or worried about hubris - oh I know everything and then they ask the one thing you do not know. But I thought all the R&H questions were easy. We have a woman champ again!
  16. I was wondering - if an actor hasn't yet shown up in the PBS broadcasts yet does that count as a spoiler and should be tagged as such?
  17. Emotionally at times, it seems like it. Wow, Bianca wore a different jacket. So, I guess she is going to become a prostitute - that's what women in the Square do when they need money isn't it?
  18. Damn. But what a great run and now Jeopardy will be a lot less stressful to watch.
  19. Julia was on GMA this morning and will be on the Last Word with Lawrence O'Donnell tonight. I've been waiting for ten years for a Tournament of the Kenvictims.
  20. Perry Fenwick was on an episode of Morse (Last Bus to Woodstock) ..way back in 1988. As was Shaun Williamson (The Way Through The Woods). Matilda Ziegler is also on Cabin Pressure! She plays Princess Theresa of Liechtenstein who is the love interest of Martin Crieff (Benedict Cumberbatch).
  21. I missed the announcement that Michael French was leaving so that was surprising. Though since no one has a happy ending maybe it shouldn't have been.
  22. Going by the Eastenders tweets just now, I think you are right!
  23. I guess this is a spoilerish thing from Adam W who was on The One Show last night. .
  24. That was a fun episode. Oh shut up Phil and Alfie. While not a smart decision by either, Max and Lucy's relationship is not even in the top ten of horrible things done in Albert Square. And, I am sure that Phil has to be involved in at least 5 of those things. He was involved in the killing of my beloved Dennis!
  25. How could I forget about Minty! My favorite one has to be Shaun Williamson when he played himself on Extras since every single person (except Ricky's character) called him Barry from Eastenders.
