Man, I feel bad about the teacher. These poor kids needed an adult in their life. Damn you, Chucky. Other than that, I'm really enjoying this season. I wasn't sure this whole White House thing was going to work, but I'm liking it so far.

I enjoyed the last episode. Things seem to be moving along. Also, that visual of Leon swimming into the sleeping pod of whales was freaky. He didn't have an oxygen tank with him, though, and I thought that he swam rather deep and it took him awhile to get back to the surface. I have no idea how these people can hold their breathes for so long. I can't last past 20 seconds, heh.

I finally got around to watching the first two episodes and I have to say I'm really enjoying this so far. I like that we have stuff happening all over the world. So far I find myself engaged in each story line and wanting to know more about what on earth is going on. It's quite intriguing overall and I'm sad this tread isn't getting much traction.

So I recorded the US version of the episode that was supposed to have the Billy Miller tribute and sure enough they aired it. Why does Canada hate BM? Also, 14 seconds was hardly a tribute.

I found myself rooting more for Jennifer in the finale. I liked her appetizer better (I hate eggs so Grant's raviolo grossed me out) and I thought her entrée looked nicer than Grant's, although in terms of proteins, I prefer pork and don't like venison. I also thought her dessert looked better as well. Although, at the end of the day, I didn't mind that Grant won. He seemed like a nice guy. Kennedy annoys me so I wasn't sad she didn't win. Her appetizer did look pretty but the rabbit dish with the splatters looked gross. Plus, I don't like rabbit. Her dessert looked fine.

So, in the regular thread, there's discussion about how there was a brief Billy Miller tribute at the end of the episode where Kyle is fired. But, I never got it. It just ended on NotBilly's morose face. Did anyone else get a tribute? I'm been waiting for one all week.

I started watching on and off since I was a kid back in the 80s. I've only known the Newmans, Abbotts, Winters, and Chancellors. They're all like family and I wouldn't' want to get rid of any of them. The Brooks and all the families that came before mean nothing to me. I remember during Covid, they ran out of scripts, and at one point aired the first episode of Y&R. I didn't know who anyone was and found it so boring, lol. I find the business storylines boring, but give me murder, angst, infidelity, etc. I am more than fine with that.

Yeah, sorry, but no. That's every day life for me. I watch soaps to get away from RL. Give me the millionaires and billionaires. But make their story interesting. And throw in a few murders here and there to keep me hooked. Preferably set at night with lighting and thunder. I like being spooked, lol.

I didn't realize the pill thing, either. I thought Pop ended up in the hospital because he wasn't taking his pills at all.

I'm shocked. I'm saddened. I was just thinking about him the other day and wishing he would come back to Y&R. Damn it, such a shame.

I absolutely loathe Tracy's new hair style. It ages her and makes her look dumpy. She looked much more youthful with the longer hair.

Previews showed Mariah and Tessa at the specialists who was saying something about how Aria's diagnosis can be treated but not cured. It would be hilarious if Aria could only hear Esther for the rest of her life, heh.

I forgot the actress playing Chelsea is pregnant. I was wondering why it appears they are writing her and Connor out of the show. I also liked the scenes with Sally and Connor. They have a nice rapport. Other than that, I can't recall anything else that happened. Oh yeah, it appears that Heather is regretting her decision and longing for Daniel again. I'm guessing she and her boyfriend broke up.

So this is insanely old but I came across it this evening and it's still hilarious and worth a watch.
