Yes. I did enjoy this episode. Happy for Amanda that she found a place she should like. I would be happy with any universe with great public transportation. This is where I get off. My Apple + subscription just jumped from $89 to $129 a year CDN! Subscribed to Disney instead. I will sign up for Apple once a new season of For All Mankind, Silo or Foundation drops.

Fair point.

I noticed the same thing. Stunt workers don’t get enough recognition, although that is starting to change.

Michael is the ultimate Mary Sue
-
Saru the Baddass Diplomat was the best part IMO. Female Breen was fun, does anyone know who did the voice?
-
So Michael goes from denying she’s a god a few episodes ago to turning down the opportunity to become a god. The show is keeping true to Star Trek’s secular roots, godlike powers are just advanced tech. I can’t decide if tossing the portal into a black hole was a wise decision or an enormous cop-out. It may be found by the 32nd Century equivalent and the Borg who can hack their way in. So Disco is just abandoned in deep space? And how does Michael get home afterwards? Long range shuttle or transporter?

Also, how much size diversity is there amongst the Breen? "Aren't you a little short for a stormtrooper?"

Tip to time travellers: always bring along a solar powered phone charger on you adventures! It was probably wise for Joy to burn her phone so as to not break time. Although a smart phone in 1882 would have less of an impact than a smart phone in the 1982. Although an archeologist would go mad finding a charred phone amongst other 1882 artifacts.

Rayner has balls. So many balls.

I'm starting to get a "Constellation" vibe, another Apple Show that started off well but soon fizzled out. Also multiverses. So your thoughts create a new universe? Okay then. My Apple+ subscription has gone from $89/yr to $129/yr Canadian and I'm thinking of lapsing until a new season Foundation or For All Mankind comes out.

The actors playing the teenagers are clearly not teenagers anymore. Will thet ignore that or have an appropriate time jump?

That librarian is a great character. A tribute to librarians everywhere. I hope we see more of her.
-
Shows you how much I'm paying attention! LOL
-
I hate mindscapes. Chief Librarian looked Klingon or Klingonish.

What happened to Detmere?

When it comes to adaptation of multi-verse novels, I would love to see an adaptation "All Our Wrong Todays" by Elan Mastai, which acknowledged that it's impossible to have an exact copy of yourself in another universe, unless the point of divergence happens after you are already born.

"Counterpart" comes to mind

I'm digging this show so far, but I wish it had a more original title! There is at least one other show with this exact name. Dark matter is a fascinating field of study, but multiverses are a completely different thing. (I think) I enjoyed the novel

So Rayner has a traumatic backstory because of course he does. I called it a couple of episodes back.

More like a triangle! Looks like a rectangle from one angle
-
Not a surprise
-
What ship is the giant rectangle with the nacelles? Very cool design.

Moll has no reason to think that the Breen would treat her well. I don't even want to think about it. I was warming to Lok in the end.

The Cerritos to the rescue!

Great point. When I was watching Dowton Abbey I thought that the folks in the 1920s had most of the stuff we have now: phones, cars, radios, electricity and movies. Cultural change can be slow, but 900 years is a huge chunk of time.
