  1. I just realized this kid will have April and Butch as grandparents for realz, not like fake I'm going to buy you something at Toys R Us that your adoptive parents will never give you.
  2. Was the dog food all over the floor because they chewed through the bag, or was Jenelle feeding them Cheez Puff style and dumping the food on the floor for them? I was also super annoyed with Leah not minding the twins at the yogurt store. Is it normal for parents to just ignore their kids in public? Ali, a light switch is not a toy. If they're bored maybe Leah needs to bring books for them, or I don't know, engage with them in some way. When I'm in a restaurant like that I always give side eye to a family that lets kids have free roam.
  3. I think the camera man was as high as Leah in that scene, because he seemed very taken by her sparkle boat shoes. Like, it was either a poignant Werner Herzog documentary at that point, or the camera guy had a buzz and was fixating on the shoe. I hope the female version of Adam's face looks good on an adult Aubree. I don't see any Chelsea in her. Chelsea is striking and I wish she'd just tone down the eye makeup. I also think she was being deceptive in the lawyer's office, because she touched her nose at one point and I've heard that people touch their faces when they're feeling self conscious or ashamed. Even if she's totally innocent, I would love to see her drop the whole victim routine. I kind of feel bad for Vee. She clearly wants a baby, and she's being punished for waiting (Jo's choice of course, but the prudent choice) by people flaunting cute babies. I think it's great she can be a buddy to Isaac.
  4. I love the Hong Kong apt, except for the sad couch bench. How about instead of a soaking tub you get an easy chair instead? Does he just use the bed when he wants to lounge?
  5. Kailyn's scarf - it must have to do with breastfeeding. She's nursing a lot on this show. I don't remember if Isaac was nursed much or at all (I remember Jo and Kailyn fighting about the formula bottle in the microwave!). Even though she's not using the scarf to cover anything, it looks more normal from the neck up. The scene I noticed it in, she was wearing a button down shirt, and had it unbuttoned. So it wasn't as obvious that she was partially naked. I have no problem with public nursing, I'm just pointing out why MTV might have been into the scarf idea. Leah talking about Ali like she's not in the room when she is - is this normal? I don't hang around kids ever, so I don't know if it happens a lot. But really, when Leah and Jeremy are on the sofa with all 3 kids crawling around, do they have to refer to Ali in the 3rd person? Do a lot of parents do this? And speaking of sofas! Randy let the sofa bounce on Chelsea's new floor? What the heck? Who moves a sofa by himself and then just lets it plop down instead of letting it down?
  6. The baby looked like a cabbage patch doll, but yeah, he was cute. In her voiceover at the beginning she says she was self-conscious about her lip and all, but Scott liked her anyway. Earth to Courtney: if some guy wants to do you, he's not going to care what your lip scar looks like! I thought she looked perfectly fine but the nose ring was a questionable choice. I don't have much sympathy for Scott's blue balls. If he didn't agree with the deal he could break up with her. I mean it'd be shitty, but I'm just saying, nobody held a gun to his head and said he'd have to date someone who's practicing abstinence. I'm more interested in hearing about what kind of birth control they will use after they marry. She was so focused on not having sex, it's like I'm not sure she understands how birth control works.
  7. I think there's a good possibility that Dean is an alcoholic, but they don't play that up for the show, because it's a lot sexier to just admit that some girl named Emily finds you/your husband fuckable. Are plaid shirts a Canadian thing, or just a Dean thing?
  8. Grammar was pretty egregious all around the the Simms clan, and mumbling was prevalent just about everywhere else. Cory's dad (love him!) said "It's too bad we couldn't have went fishin'". And Aleeah's subtitles also reflected "ain't", misuse of past tense, and mumbling. Trivial observations: Ryan hasn't made any progress on his ear gauges. It's only because of Ryan and Maci that I even know what ear gauges are! If Vee's tits are real, they are fabulous. I don't get why Miranda is trying so hard with her hair and makeup. She's not fat or ugly or with bad skin, so she has nothing to compensate for. I just don't get that look on someone so young. But, Miranda has a gay BF. Yea! OK, Ryan really needs to explain to Bentley why he's been living with his parents for so long, so Bentley doesn't do the same thing when he's in his 20s! Isaac could not be more sweet. Good grief! He was so polite to Vee by thanking her for the bubble maker. And poor Isaac, Jo's parents are the only grandparents he has! If Vee's not satisfied with Jo's commitment level, she should just walk away. She could do better.
  9. Hi, I'm new to SAB - and all caught up thanks to Netflix. I needed a "light" show because my real life is already full of malfeasance and corruption. I loved Lea Thompson in Back To The Future, and Constance Marie was great in Selena (yeah, I loved it!), so how could I go wrong here? What a great show that has enough social issues to keep things interesting and lots of family fun. I want to live in the Kennish carriage house! I think all the young actors are doing terrific work. I'm also enjoying learning about Deaf Culture. Looking forward to the summer season! One thing I find hilarious, especially after binge-watching, is how Daphne's bad luck often leaves her in a lurch at the end of every scene she's in. She makes a lot of good stink face, side eye, and disappointed demeanor at the end of every scene where things don't go her way.
  10. Oh, I'm not ready for this baby. Juliette has fucked more guys on the show than any other character. I really do hope they don't write this into the show. There's already too much drama! She'll have to start playing guitar to have something to hide behind.
  11. Ok, I just felt bad for Isaac when he was upset by the empty room, but that makes sense to me now, for him to see it for himself. Good point. When Jo called Kailyn to ask how the baby was doing she didn't even say the word "thanks", not at the end of the call either. How hard is it to say "ok thanks, bye!" when you're hanging up a phone? Basic manners can go a long way towards improving a strained situation.
  12. Please tell me someone else noticed the satanic baby doll in the lower left corner of the screen during Leah's conversation with her sister. WTH was that? Didn't it seem cruel for Jo to show Isaac his empty former room? Why not just go to the new house right away and start talking it up? Jo could have packed the toys himself and avoided dragging Isaac into it. Note to MTV infographic and titles department: when the teen mom babies are old enough to be in cheerleading, it's time to take down the cheer pom out of the cutesy title page. That was originally there because of the teens that were in cheerleading. Jenelle's best outfits are for court appearances and not for her career. I wish Barbara had not taken Jace, and forced Jenelle to deal with the consequences. Maybe that'd mean Jace in a foster home or something, but now look at where they're at. Barbara and all her complaining about Jenelle dating "losers". Does Barbara think Jenelle is a catch?
  13. Using my first post here to complain about Javi's ridiculous Mercedes! What the heck makes that a practical choice for his family? It's not like a Tesla that would save them on gas. It's not like a Lexus with its reliability, or one of the exciting new cars from Detroit. This is the most over the top car of the franchise, hands down.
