  1. I guess I'm the lone wolf, with the heretics the show has FINALLY managed to create villains that I love to hate. I am very intrigued with the flash forwards as well, they make me look forward to the next show to see how they play out. Honestly, after watching this, for the 1st time I found myself wishing this is not the final season (even though I'm guessing it is).
  2. I stole one of my phrases from the episode ShadowSixx mentioned: Get off your pity pot, Nancy!
  3. This was driving me crazy! Sure everybody's allowed to have an opinion, but they haven't known each other nearly long enough for him to be a part of the decision.
  4. They toyed with this when they had the series of episodes where Marie & Debra weren't speaking. They have shown, though (in my opinion anyway), that Debra really does love Marie, and I think Debra would rather have judgy buttinski Marie than no Marie at all.
  5. I think this is my favorite exchange of the whole episode...especially because she was right! Lately, I have lost much of my interest in sitcoms, it just seems like they consist of wildly unrealistic things that are played for laughs. Yeah, I know, it's exaggerated for humor, but to me if a situation could have been prevented by a character saying/doing one little logical thing, it's just not funny (I hope I'm making sense!) That being said, I think that's why I still love Raymond and use it to fall asleep every night, because IMO most of their situations aren't particularly wildly outlandish. I know there's a lot of criticism that Debra's problems could have been fixed by her simply locking her doors, but that doesn't bother me, because Marie could just ring the doorbell, and realistically Debra can't pretend every time that she's not home or didn't hear it. Just my little rant :)
  6. This is the one thing I am SO looking forward to. I am entertained as hell by judgy Brooke!
  7. I'm pretty sure they asked for both, but I could be dead wrong, because today they only mentioned Nicole being the surrogate. If that's the case, they are way off in saying that the baby will be half Avant, because Nicole's genes won't transfer over if she's only the surrogate and not an egg donor.
  8. This. Speaking of Bill and Steffy, I said to the tv "oh shut up already!" when Bill was on the sofa laughing like a loon. I don't think Ivy is anything outstanding in the looks department *ducking tomatoes* , but she's certainly prettier than Steffy, and the thought of Ivy modeling lingerie isn't funny, let alone "my stomach hurts" funny.
  9. It will probably have more to do with guilt over Nicole outing Maya as the former Myron.
  10. So Ivy is too shy to model lingerie but was willing to answer the door while wearing that abomination? And she wore it while eating pizza? She is slowly starting to annoy me, the same way Hope slowly annoyed me to the point of dread. It will get to where I won't be rooting for Ivy to win but rather for Steffy to lose.
  11. More fun than playing with dollar store plastic parachute men? How can that be???
  12. She could be looking at other schools, she just wouldn't be allowed to apply early decision to any of them & would have to withdraw other applications if Columbia accepted her, if I'm understanding the rules correctly. Also, according to Columbia's policies, it looks like all Ivys only notify applicants mid December and late March (as others above have said).
  13. I'm kind of mixed on this. I'm not crazy about baby storylines either, but when there are no babies to SORAS into teens in 2 years, the show just focuses on the same old people, which can get REALLY boring. I'm not sure either. Steffy told Ivy she has a great body and has nothing to be embarrassed about...doesn't sound like an evil thing to me, yet somehow Steffy IS doing this as a punishment.
  14. This comment reminded me of the girl last year (maybe Erica???) who Kitty called out for not curling her hair. That infuriated me...ummm gee maybe her hair isn't curled because her hair can't hold a curl!!!
  15. Rick and Maya being on makes me realize how bad I feel for KM and JY. It has to be really difficult to portray characters when you have no idea how they are going to be from day to day. Rick is power hungry...no Rick is nice...no Rick is mean...Rick shoots guns at work...no, Rick really IS nice...Maya is sweet...Maya is a gold digger...Maya is a mean girl...Maya is nice. Make up your minds!
  16. Yeah, I liked the "we've been talking about this" line. What they left out was the last part...we've been talking about this for the past 60 seconds. I actually thought it was fairly frumpy, and covered more than lots of swimsuits do. In fact, I think the top Ivy was wearing was cut lower and more revealing than the lingerie. Yeah, the fact that Nicole would be both the mother and the aunt may be a tad awkward, even for this family :)
  17. I am so-so on Elena, and Nina Dobrev tended to grate on me, but while I enjoyed the premier, it's not the same without her. As this episode went on, though, I tried to look at it more like a spin-off, which helped. Dare I be too optimistic, but I think the heretics have the potential to be great big bads for the season. *small voice* I did, and I'd love to see her (and her hidden "stash") back :)
  18. The comments were almost to the episode where Meghan Flaherty got cut & chewed out Judy & Kelli for having no heart. I was SOOO looking forward to what people said about this after it was originally aired. By the way, I was able to resume in the early 300 pages...the 1st season of Vivian.
  19. There are MANY pages that I don't seem to be allowed to read, starting around page 85-ish (The requested URL /topic/3132801-dallas-cowboys-cheerleaders-making-the-team/page-85 was not found on this server.) Is this happening to you?
  20. Seriously. I'm not as good a historian as most of you, but of the people who work at Forrester... Eric was married to Brooke and Donna & had a thing with their mother; Ridge was married to Brooke, engaged to Katie, fooled around with Donna, had "feelings" for Bridget, was married to Caroline & currently married to Caroline's niece; Thorne was married to Brooke and engaged to Donna (I don't remember if he had anything romantic with Katie). No wonder Thorne's in the basement, he's the least trashy of all of them! Brooke had a baby with her son in law Deacon; was married to Ridge, Thorne, Nick and Eric; had an affair with, and was later engaged to, her brother in law Bill. NOTHING should shock anybody who knows this family! I disagree, I think it's more like before Lassie went to the groomer :)
