  1. No one HAS to be impressed with her journey and that part I can understand but to go as far as invalidating her endeavors just doesn't track for me. I'm also shocked that in this day and age we are still not clear on what alimony represents in it's pure definition.
  2. Not crayola home....... LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL! Spit out my coffee....
  3. I'm so sick of this being the veiled "your lying". Sometimes I really wish I could be one these shows cause I'd be so quick to hurt some feelings. "It doesn't make sense? Well honey I'm not surprised that it doesn't cause you don't strike me as the brightest bulb and unfortunately I can't help you in that area."
  4. I don't understand... Where's the rule book? So what counts? Is there a wiki page I can check to see where all these supposed definitions of requirements and approved methods are listed. How does one achieve the label (financially independent), create the labels, acquire the authority to bestow the label. It's just so mind boggling to me. How does one determine who rates and who doesn't. Seems pretty futile to break it down into anything absolute.
  5. This always cracks me up. I've seen NASTY drunks.... what I've seen of Kim pales in comparison but yeah I know..... It's just I've never seen it in any of the footage that was shown so that's where I'm at.
  6. Every season someone is gunning for Sutton. Like it's painfully obvious and agonizingly deliberate. Not to mention, absolutely asinine for the new chick to pick it up and try their hand at it as if they are stepping up to the plate trying to hit a homerun. That's about as subtle as this broken record has become. Look, I get conflict and drama and I have even pushed through a lot of the manufactured crap but this whole angle with all the new recruits being required to dust it up with Sutton is just getting to be too much. Rinna, although grotesque at least had prior interactions with her and spend time with Sutton in a friendly capacity so she was able to draw from experiences and the such but with Crystal her first season, Diana last season and now AnneMarie this season... People who didn't even KNOW her, interact with her or had any personal knowledge of her just going head to head with her is just so tiresome and ridiculous. Sure, friends of friends or acquaintance that are aware of this person or that person, chiming in for a little catty group chat at a party is one thing cause there have been instances where Faye is brought in and chimes in on "what she's heard" blah blah blah but barging into a conversation rudely, with accusations or implications and loaded for bear when you don't even have a dog in the fight besides wanting screen time. Ugggghhhhh, it's just so unimaginative, boring and childish.
  7. At my big age I've come to the conclusion that people can be who they are and I can choose how to receive them. I think the reason I (and a lot of viewers) are on Suttons side is because Sutton doesn't deserve mistreatment just because she's received poorly by some. Garcelle shows Sutton grace because that should be the automatic course of action from kind and reasonable people. If Sutton bothers, then choose Suttons role in your space and since she doesn't seem to bother Garcelle, Garcelle naturally treats her like she would any other perfectly average person she comes across. Add that they have a genuine friendship and care for one another and that equation continues to shift in a positive direction. The shows premise is drama and conflict and I understand the women drum up feuds but when they go below the belt and truly try to openly disrupt the average course of someone's daily life through damaging behaviors is where it all goes awry for me. I appreciate what Garcelle brings but I do wish she would follow through a tad more. I do love how, for the most part, she does have Suttons back.
  8. It's the cruelty for me too. I get tired of hearing "well it's a reality show" but there are plenty of ways to achieve "reality show drama" that doesn't revolve around level ONE THOUSAND cruelty. Whoever deems that be the standard producer/castmate/viewer alike, in my opinion is a particular piece of work where I feel sorry for whoever is in their lives. Just sayin'. Being so reckless with other people's real world quality of life (i.e. the potential for these dumb accusation to spill into custody issues for Sutton) takes some really shitty human behavior. Being dismissive of these sort of antics "cause it's a reality show" is a really low set of standards. Alot of the wives across the franchise really do partake in such antics and its always a disappointment to watch.
  9. Me too. I mean give her a couple of episodes with him at least. The show would have survived Ada and Agnes living apart for a bit although I knew the show was going to have to figure out a way to get Ada back into the house so I knew he was going to be a goner eventually but golly gee. I really enjoyed their romance and their time together on screen.
  10. THIS, Has been my theory for a couple of episodes now. And BTW, I called The Rev's death when he proposed. I just thought he already knew he was dying and wanted to live in the moment and move forward with his feelings for Ada with the "life's too short" angle. I was sad to see he didn't already know. And yes, Marian feels obligated to marry then an inheritance from Luke affords Marian the ability to finally break off the engagement creating a millisecond of nail biting drama that will hopefully only last an episode or two. I may be in the minority but I do like 1-2 episode conflict/resolution arcs. It's fun and it keeps the pace moving from one thing to another. It looks as if Bertha is the only one that gets season long arch (with Mr. Russel getting the next longest season arc) which I kind of love cause she's the only character that is so enjoyable to watch connive and scheme as well as Mr. Russell. The other strong characters are good for some comic relief and or surface drama that sometimes venture a little bit under the surface at times. I don't want to be anxious for a whole season because of drawn out, angsty dilemma's and worrying. Also, I am almost knocked unconscious with their dresses. Oh My! do I find myself gasping regularly at the stunning and absolutely fabulous gowns. The fact that almost ALL of the characters don gorgeous dresses in every episode. Pass me the smelling salts PULEEEZZEEE!
  11. Honestly, I didn't see a blazing trail of people that Kim was mean too. I saw Kim react and respond to women who used her struggle with addiction as a reason to make her a punching bag. Anything outside of those addiction episodes where her behavior was less than perfect didn't seem anymore pearl clutching then the petty or catty little exchanges that go on throughout. It's not that I'm trying to protect my version, Addiction aside, I truly didn't see anything crazy outrageous about how Kim behaved during her seasons. Her conflict with Brandi was probably the closest to troublesome and all that was a bit of a bitching back and forth that lasted i think half a season. Every other SIGNIFICANT conflict Kim had (Kyle, Rinna, Elaine, etc.) revolved around inappropriate commentary and attention brought to her addiction. That's how I saw it anyway.
  12. The point was just to show that Kyle had more socializing opportunities cause Kim was working more. All three sisters were parented by the same person which is a good point and one I like to regularly lean into when Kyle tries to single herself out as the sole victim in the big scheme of things. Someone who deserves all the sympathy and concern while placing blame on her sisters and never giving them any of the grace of having also been raised by big Kathy.
  13. Kim's whole narrative got snuffed out that first season cause Kyle kept countering that version and making it about herself and how she had to drive herself to school. She kept undermining Kim in joking, playful ways in a lot of their scenes together that made Kim seem rather insignificant and of the course the final bomb Kyle dropped sealed the deal on whether anything that comes out of Kim's mouth is accurate cause ya know, she's addict.
  14. I always find this sentiment a bit curious. All of their children are old enough (minus Porsha) to maintain whatever communication they want so I don't necessarily think anyone is "keeping" anybody from anyone. Now do I believe the daughters are going to side with their mothers during a dispute between sisters? Well yeah, because the sisters are big on "taking sides" so it probably goes without saying that if you've crossed a big enough line with my mother I'm probably not too happy with you either. If you notice, Kyle asked if Alexis would be going to see Paris's son and she say well that's something I would feel bad doing without you..... These kids are hard wired to be attached at the hips of their mothers and there's always some sort of unspoken etiquette that involves who is allowed to speak to who when so and so aren't on speaking terms. Hell we saw Kim tippy toe around speaking about Kathy and Kyle's rift. I'm surprised she didn't need ballet slippers for how high she was on those tips. The care they need to have when addressing family dynamic is their biggest problem. Me: Fuck you and your hurt feelings. This is how I feel about the situation, what went down, how you handled it and how you treated me. This phrased goes for all three of them in any feud and at any given time. Huurrrummmphh around for a couple of weeks, sulk a bit then plan the next family gathering and get over it. They need to really get on board the "not that serious" train cause years and years of this nonsense is ridiculous. Although, I will add that Kyle's offenses are pretty significate considering her mechanics attempt and sometimes succeed in publicly tainting and possibly affecting her targets life outside of the show. So getting over her shit would be harder since her contribution is at a whole other level of intentional and hurtful. That part bothers me about Kyle as well. It's not just reality show drama and entertainment. The subject matter is sometimes way more damaging than me as a viewer wants to see and I can only imagine the target would have to really assess how they feel about Kyle since Kyle seems to absolutely disregard the total ramifications of these "housewives" antics in order to be the center of attention. I can never understand how Kyle can continually risk the potential total collapse of her family dynamic just for her desperate need for attention. Her need for validation is beyond the pale.
  15. But you notice how quick Kyle brought up Sutton's LACK OF defense of Kyle at the reunion. It's like, Kyle likes to be so pissed about people not standing up for her but notice she can never defend anyone EVER! Kyle TELLS us that she's had to XYZ for her sisters in the PAST and in her life but have we ever truly seen Kyle go absolute protector for either Kathy or Kim? One little mean girl cat fight with Brandi (when someone hid a crutch) doesn't rate. Sorry. Kyle walked off in a huff because Sutton didn't bring up the harsh phone call she had with Kathy or that she had a chat with Kyle about it confirming that Kathy can scold with the best of them. So basically Kyle wanted Sutton to put her sister on blast to prove that Kathy can be mean and to prove to the world what Kyle has to deal with and I will never understand why she continues to try to recruit outsiders to do this for her. That was one incident and one piece of information but Kyle WANTS that put out there. The way she WANTS Rinna to be a loose cannon with regards to spouting information about Kim or more recently Kathy. Kyle is more interested in having friends out damaging information about her sisters than she ever is in actually defending them. It's so cringey to see her do this over and over and over again. She so desperately wants to be felt sorry for especially with regards to her dynamic with her sisters and it has gotten sooooooo old. Kyle has set the narrative, from day one that she's been stuck hiding, covering, keep secrets about her sisters TRUE selves for a long time so when we see a conflict involving them and Kyle DOES NOT defend it's already planted that she's so traumatized by her roll as "protector" and "secret keeper" that she can no longer continue the "farce". Kyle has planted that narrative on Season one and from then on the viewers have been put on notice that Kyle is to be coddled and sympathized with and this show was her way of breaking away from their clutches so good for her. Viola! Now the narrative runs itself. Between the housewives who hear her side and feel sorry/protective and the viewers who can relate to negative family dynamics Kyle has established a defensive line who jump in regularly to defend, condone and even applaud Kyle's new "self care" ways where she's no longer her sisters lackey and prisoner of secrets. Kyle is someone to root for. It's grown into a life of it's own over the seasons and while some have her number, some attempt to call her out and even with some bad viewer backlash a season here and there Kyle's formula is still up and running but hopefully this season we finally see it crumble.
  16. Kyle talking about how Kathy and her daughters are a package deal and just like classic Kyle she doesn't say much but leave the unspoken words hanging in the air. Basically Kathy has turned her daughters against Kyle. Look, if I was Paris and Nikki and I saw with my own two eyes the bullshit Kyle allowed and was a part of regarding my mother... um, no, sorry bitch, it's not my mother keep me from you its ME deciding that ME and YOU now have beef. I don't get why it's hard to understand why Kathy's daughters would be distant from Kyle. Kyle is always pretending that there is this unfair hammer that gets slammed down on her and that she always has to behave or she's put on punishment and she always presents these rifts as if they are some abusive penalties being unleashed on her unfoundedly. Season after season it drives me crazy to see her present her very obvious, very mean, very deliberate mechanics as non existent and her sisters are drumming up reasons to put her in time out. Here she goes again acting like she's absolutely innocent and Kathy has no basis for distancing herself. I'm not going to measure the punishment cause that's not for me to decide but Kyle constantly wants to decide what kind of response is appropriate for her behaviors and always deems the punishments as non proportional to the slight and of course too harsh. I can see WHY her sisters are always hot and cold with her because the minute they drop their guard with her and try to have a sisterly relationship Kyle slowly but surely SETS THEM UP! My opinion is that all three have mean streaks so I'm not saying any of them are perfect but I've seen Kyle's ways in action so she gets my harshest judgement. Not to mention we don't really see anything truly damaging done to Kyle by the sisters and yet at the hands of Kyle we get an inside look at Kims struggle with addiction and after one season of Kathy being on VERY regularly we have all kinds of scandal and interest and probing and digging into a possibly ugly side of Kathy that goes way beyond the complaints Kyle has had about their family feuds. I'm not saying that Kathy is a saint or that dirty laundry isn't a price in the housewives game but I find it very curious that Kyle is always on the offensive side of these unfortunate details surrounding her sisters. She's always in a very contrived state of anxiety which conveniently relieves her from having to participate too strongly in any issue involving either of them. It's interesting that Kyle always has her hands tied and continues to purposely look like a DV victim when being "pulled" into any conflicts surrounding her sisters making it so that she's to be felt sorry for and as such absolved from truly contributing to the matter. Her demeanor and choice to not vehemently defend either sister in any TRUE conflict sends its own perfect message. Seems to me that Kyle can't help but be a spoiled brat little sister that really does a number on the older ones. I don't truly see a victim I see someone who, yes, is a product of an unfortunate upbringing but has channeled all that toxicity and trauma into some very ugly antics. I do believe it has stemmed from legitimately dysfunctional childhood but I can't condone how she chooses to unload it all through nasty and contrived episodes. And also how she recruits others to be her champions. Taylor, Lisa V. Rinna, Erika, Teddi, now Annemarie... I've been on the other end of attack dog behavior. I had a very toxic friendship with a set of sisters. Kind of like a Kyle and Bethenny duo. I started out as a Sutton and now I am more of a Garcelle with a bite. Know each other for years since childhood but have had patches over the years like Kyle and Kim or Kyle and Kathy where we were on the outs.. etc. etc. It's never fails that when I'm back in the fold there's a new friend they've made who has obviously been filled in on my past with them and it doesn't take long for the friend to act a bit slick or maybe say something slick or try to call me out in a group, thus making it clear to me that this person thinks she knows me, knows our history and doesn't approve of me because I've cause their friend (my longtime "friends") pain. Ugggghh... Typical follower who has no clue who they're dealing with. Kyle reminds me of this ALL THE TIME. She does it mainly with her sisters but also splashes a dose on friends as well. Lisa V., Sutton to name a couple. I've had Kyle's number since season 1 and i just hope she doesn't slip under the radar yet again this season.
  17. No way, now how. Not saying Sutton wasn't always a force to be reckoned with in one way or another but her first season, she was really rocky and of course wouldn't exactly know her footing too well. What newbies fail to understand is that a perfectly solid, pleasant and good friendship spins into a twisty turning storm once the cameras are on. And that said friendship is up for sacrifice if it means more screen time. I think Sutton had a rude awakening in the beginning which contributed to her very frequent confrontations, foot in mouth moments and being an easy target. I think that in itself contributed to her anxiety which is valid. I think over the seasons she's be able to learn and she's not completely blindsided anymore meaning that it isn't as jolting as it used to be. This is allowing Sutton to stay a bit more composed during these moments. She understands the game a bit more and is handling herself better which makes it seem as if she should have always had a handle on things and calls to question her earlier bouts of anxiety. She's had past anxiety's and just because she's getting a bit more steely in her maneuvering doesn't mean that from here on she's not allowed to have anxiety. Anxiety comes and goes and is hugely dependent on circumstance. If these women during some other random event or trip decide yet again rake her across the coals for some dumb shit then I expect Sutton to have an episode of anxiety. Anxiety is a thing for Sutton because anxiety is a thing for everybody if caught off guard and depending on any given situation.
  18. See Kim has always had an awkward quirky (and anxious) side that completely tracks with the fact that aside from addiction she also suffers from official mental health issues. I feel like whenever the subject of Kim comes up ALL of her behavior was attributed to her addiction but to me I think she's naturally awkward and odd socially and being othered in that sense contributed to her abusing substances throughout her life. I think she does come across as a bit weird and sometimes cringey but it has always bugged me that reacting to her negatively has always been the automatic go to with some of the housewives on this show. To be honest I never understood why Kim's odd behavior was such a huge pearl clutching inducing event. I never liked in many of the situations Kim's behavior was drummed up to be something so excruciatingly impossible to handle complete with traumatic scarring and the need for therapy. It was always so very contrived and I never did like the narrative cause it was obviously a grab for dramatics for any housewife looking to earn their check (looking at you Rinna). I'm happy to see Kim in peaceful and calm situations with women who aren't chopping at the bit to throw her under the bus by using her very real, sad and tragic struggles. Again, I am so happy she isn't on the show full time anymore. Although, if I knew she would have back up and not be the target I would totally like to see her on more.
  19. It's crazy how they focus on the wrong details ALL THE DAMN TIME! It's harder to prove Erica set it up so I wouldn't even bother. All that really needs to be addressed is the fact that when they did "bump into each other", planned or not, Erica was a full blown nasty bitch that diliberately took the opportunity to put Sutton on the spot and embarrass her. I could care less about whether she's orchestrated it down to the timing of the doors opening. Me, I would be like, okay nevermind the theory of planned. Let's talk about how it was hella fucked up that you A)put me on the spot and called me out B)Lied about what you were trying to call me out for and C)Demanded I give out apologies to people who could have cared less for something I never said. Fuck the whole "she planned it" angle. There's enough to drag that nasty hoe for filth for just that.
  20. LOVE THIS!!! Thanks for sharing your FIRST HAND experience to outline what Sutton at the very least MAY HAVE been facing. I don't think anyone can absolutely deny the potential for Suttons distress in this instance. Also, although I don't have personal experience with such matters it totally makes sense that a change like him moving to another country would warrant revisiting the current custody arrangement. I mean wouldn't they have to now include provisions for how taking the child out of the country would work? Timing, scheduling, length of time allowed? Also, just because something is on paper doesn't mean that her Ex can't OOOOPPPPPSSSS blow past the designated date the child should been back in the states. The only recourse Sutton would have is to fight it in court internationally which would be a horrendous thing. Child custody is very tricky and can be a very tumultuous experience. I don't blame Sutton for the knee jerk panicked reaction of what "could be".
  21. This has always stood out to me and I always wondered why Kim got so much flak. Yeah, yeah it comes out that Kim is an addict but her first season Kim just seemed so unsure of herself and out of place all the while slightly keeping to herself and showing herself to be awkward. Even her "blow up your lips some more" moment wasn't even that bad or erratic. I understood Kim's point but all people mostly wanted to focus on was how Kim claimed to have taken care of the family which people wanted to challenge as not true. Whether or not people want to believe that Kim contributed to THAT degree I still think it's fair to say that Kim in fact WORKED more than her sisters so her observation and explanation about not being as socially adept as her sister still stands. The first season I found Kim to be pretty average among the other women besides being visibly awkward and uncomfortable. The following seasons, Kim was crucified and I'm not surprised her demeanor ended up showing more negatives. I'm inclined to believe that the bomb Kyle dropped at the end of the season tanked Kim's "functioning" part of her addiction ( you know, her ability to keep it somewhat hidden publicly) and this is why we see such a dramatic spiral in the following seasons. I'm happy she got off the show. Kyle seems to be all too happy to bring really harsh and stinging information out into the public eye about any and everyone else around her and that's always been why I don't like her. Kathy was a friend off and brought us some nice lighthearted humor and as Kathy came more and more into the fold Kyle slowly but surely divulged how rocky her relationship with Kathy can be. Kyle needs to out people and I truly and honest think its straight spite, retaliatory, vindictiveness and nothing else. Kyle desperately like showing people in a bad light and if she's got it out for you she's gonna create that narrative and figure out a way to spill as much as she can using whatever and whoever she can. And when she finds fame whores like Taylor, Rinna, Dianna, Teddi and to a lesser extent Dorit she has all she needs to set shit in motion. It's how she operates that's always rubbed me the wrong way. She has a very underhanded way about her. Crystal was very ready to jump on the Sutton hate train, Dianna too. Rinna is ready to do battle with whoever and Dorit is such a follower that she's game for anything. Brandi, as much as people hate her, had Kyle's number which is why Kyle went after her with gusto. Brandi understood that Kim was the scapegoat for Kyle's mean girl ways and wasn't having any of it. Too bad Brandi is now bat shit crazy so yeah, but back then Brandi really did have Kim's back for a while there.
  22. This too. I think it's so corny to focus on just the working out and being sober as a weird thing to be concerned about because of course it's a positive thing to be healthy but what no one is articulating clearly is that there seems to be an abrupt change with regards to Kyle that INCLUDES the working out and giving up alcohol. Kyle of course is going to misunderstand it to push her victim narrative and so she can go on the offensive claiming how ridiculous it is for the others to find fault in incorporating a healthy routine into her life. Girl be healthy but add that to your OBSESSIVE working out, cutting out alcohol, rumors in the press, missing wedding band. I think the ladies want to call out the lighter stuff cause that's better and safer (so they thought) to mention than dropping a question about her marriage issues and cheating rumors. They probably thought asking about the work outs and alcohol was an easier way to open the conversation and hopefully segway into what's really going on.
  23. THIS!! The repeated season one over the weekend and caught the dreaded limo scene with Kim and that episode really showed Kyle for who she is. At the party Kim comes in and hugs her best friend Melody and now I will say that editing may be at play here because we then see Kyle say that Kim is acting drunk. She whispers this to Lisa who of course looks bewildered and a tad bit taken aback. I like Lisa but I do have to admit that I didn't like how she handled the Kim situation with Kyle. Granted Kyle could have had this moment after observing Kim at the party for a while but the editing makes it seem like Kyle says this no long after Kim arrives at the party. After the Taylor Kim confrontation and you have ALL the wives hovering around Kim and Taylor continuously attacking Kim and Kyles bullshit, Kim removes herself from the party. Kyle then talks to Adrienne and IS DESPERATE for Adrienne to "ask the right question" because Kyle lays it on thick about how "nobody knows what she's gone through with her sister, there's a lot of crap that she CAN'T talk about"....... She goes on and on extra distraught and pained and continues to drop hints about all the things about Kim she HAS TO stay quiet about and how much it's taken a toll on her. She is desperately trying to lead Adrienne into the question "Oh my God, honey, what is it girl? Let it out if it's causing you this much distress" The way Kyle was presenting it was in a way the begs the person to give her permission to finally open up about HER troubles and she needs to unload whatever is weighing on her. It was funny to watch cause Adrienne was such a limp lightweight and God bless her she's was really trying to be neutral so she didn't bite. You can see Kyle get more and more frustrated with Adrienne and then walks off with a hump and a " uggghh forget it.." I bring this up because I think the producers A) wanted to remind viewers how Kyle is know to be a hateful bitch by reshowing that season and B) to show us the similarity between Kyle trying hard to get the other person to out information for her. I found it funny how Kyle kept ad libbling for Sutton and creating a whole dialogue of what Sutton was actually saying (along with the new girl) basically putting words in Suttons mouth when she said none of what Kyle was declaring she did say. Another classic tactic. Sutton doesn't fall for it, doesn't give Kyle what she wants so Kyle just spouts a bunch of nonsense and somehow when the issue comes up again it's going to be about Sutton having to defend herself for the words and narrative Kyle created at the table and assigned to Sutton. And the wives will run with it and Sutton just might give in and admit that maybe she was thinking some of those things and VIOLA! Now we have Sutton guilty of something she didn't do. But back to the comparison to season one. Kyle LOVES outing something. She loves demanding a conversation and she loves putting words in peoples mouths. She loves acting like the wronged party and behaving as if someone has done something that they haven't done so she can be the victim. That whole exchange at the table was ridiculous. She created a WHOLE dialogue for Sutton and then scolded her for it meanwhile Sutton said NONE of the things Kyle was spewing. It's amazing the way Kyle sets the stage in such a messy and obvious way and it manages to stick. As a viewer I'm here barking at the TV saying but "I'm seeing this with my own eyes and hearing everything and yet the narrative is seriously going to shift to Kyle's lies being valid and Sutton being guilty of what Kyle's trying to accuse Sutton of? That's really gonna stick? OH COME ON!! I always hope that I'm wrong at shit doesn't turn out that way in the next episode. That somehow someone shuts it down or whatever cause it's just too much of a stretch of an imagination to believe these women didn't hear what I heard. It's makes my head hurt. I did love the way Sutton waved the whole thing away with "then it's cleared up, great" while taking a bite of her food. I just hope she follows up with more of that. She repeated it a couple of times that she's satisfied with her answer and she's fine to move on without anything else. That's a good approach. Sutton needs to shut down her participation in that narrative. Saying she's good and all her questions are answered would have been perfect. Cause Kyle's trying hard to set Sutton up and the new chick is right there with her trying to assign all the bullshit Kyle is serving up to Sutton.
  24. I really wish Sutton would stop offering up apologies WHEN SHE'S NOT WRONG!! This is why the women continue to scapegoat her. I hate how much they lay at Suttons feet that just simply isn't true or valid and Sutton eventually apologizes for some form or version of their trumped up negative assessment of her actions. This is what I mean when I say she still hasn't gotten much better in the way she handles them. She's a bit more measured and restrained but she's still very weak when it comes to sealing the deal. Garcelle also needs some work on sealing the deal and putting a period on some of her interactions with them. Garcelle tends to leave stuff open ended. It's funny, cause for all of the Garcelle praise and all of the strut Garcelle brings there never truly seems to be a solid period put on the end. She too, seems a bit wishy washy and limp in some of her interactions and that's one of the few things that bug me about Garcelle. I understand that she wants to make sure she comes across as level headed and not emotional but sometimes she sounds a tad bit whiny and it kinda grinds my gears a bit. I need some more solid assertiveness especially since she's so adept at having their numbers and giving it back but then, in my opinion, her momentum just dissipates and fizzles out leaving me feeling like when a show doesn't come back for another season after leaving us with a cliffhanger season finale. Cheated.
  25. Sutton is always getting blamed for everything. I mean she really is the scapegoat in this group and it just gives me all kinds of ick. I'm happy that Crystal doesn't seem that eager to join the pile on as much anymore but the season is still young so we will see. I just hope Sutton doesn't lose Garcelle as an ally cause if it wasn't for Garcelle I don't think Sutton would survive their antics. Sutton has gotten stronger with her push back but hasn't really gotten all that better, if that makes sense. Yes, she's more assertive and yes I'm happy she's gotten better in her tactics (I think she a little more thoughtful and measured in her one on one reactions and responses) but she hasn't gotten all that better with regards to expressing herself clearly. She's still awkward and she still backtracks when she tries to clarify past reactions and behaviors. Sutton needs a good dose of straight shooter serum. EX. Kyle pointing out her comment about being on the board of so and so at the Magic Mike show. My response to such a stupid comment being made by me: "Yeah, yeah that was pretty random, I know and to be honest I was annoyed and spouting dumb stuff. But yeah, the reason I was upset was because it got a bit too raunchy for my taste and I didn't want to watch the rest. End of story." And whenever she does have a sit down to discuss something her tone is waaaaayyyyy too apologetic. I like her measured way of speaking so that's not what I'm talking about but she is just way to contrite in her delivery especially when her behavior or reaction isn't all that bad. I need her to be a bit more steely in her apologies. I'm definitely one to own something and apologize but I'm also no one's whipping boy so my apologies (apologies over dumb petty shit, no serious heartfelt, to someone important) always have a hint of "and that's the last I want to hear about it" attached. You ain't gonna hold something over my head and continue to flog me for it over and over and it definitely ain't up for every and all of these ladies to use against me either. That's one of the things I hate about the franchise. The idea that everyone can use one petty incident over and over and over again as some sort of torture device. As much as I love Sutton her addition has made this particular practice much more frequent since Sutton encompasses so many traits of a scapegoat so she's such an easy target.
