It wasn't just you. I just saw it and I didn't feel this, what I imagine was supposed to be, fatal love between them. Kind of a let down, because with all those rumors about their on set affair, I hoped it would translate on screen. Frankly, I found the movie unsuspenseful for the most part, until Pitt returned from France, basically. And that's 10 minutes until the end.

Do they normally do it the other way around?

Is anyone besides Oliver, Kara, Barry and Prometheus actually confirmed as having an EarthX counterpart? They're the only ones on the crossover poster.

I like the mix up of different characters. Thumbs up on that account.

To be honest, I don't get forgetting the significance of a gas chamber, but I hope you're right here. It would be beyond bad if Felicity was made into a Nazi, but then again, the heroes being Nazis in an alt universe still doesn't really sit right woth me to be honest. I'd be perfectly fine with a) fighting Nazis, b) fighting evil versions of the heroes, like BS is. It's just that those two scenarios overlapping seems tone deaf to me.

I'm honestly doubtful about how much thought they'll give to the fact she's Jewish. Unless I'm remembering it wrong, MG was very dismissive of people's criticism for sticking Felicity in a gas chamber in season 4.

EBR and CP were definitely shooting something together late at night.

I got the impression that the crossover EarthX is supposed to be the same one as in Freedom Fighters: The Ray. In the trailer that was posted earlier in this thread. There is definitely an evil Oliver wearing a GA suit with Nazi insignia on the arm sleeve there. I don't think he'll be EarthX Prometheus as well. Either it'll be someone else from Earth1 or, and this seems very likely to me, the same scenario as with Deathstroke last year, a stunt guy in a suit.

? I honestly think it's perfectly fine even if I think more thought went into the concept last year. Although I guess the dust could mean dust settling after the explosion in the finale.

It makes sense. I'd think it's Oliver if I didn't know he was evil Nazi GA on that Earth. These guesses make sense. Or hey - Felicity. EarthX Felicity turns out to be their biggest foe.
-
I didn't expect Felicity to actually be corrupted, but I did think Slade would come after her somehow and they'd interact before the finale.

519 promo had Oliver and Felicity facing off, so that one certainly got me pumped. I don't really know anymore if it was the promo for 520 itself that got me excited or a combination of 519 as a lead in and spoilers.

From Mind Your Surroundings: I don't know how Ollie meeting Felicity would have gone, although I do hope it would be like that. However, while I can't see any scenario in which he would cheat on Felicity, I really don't see him cheating on anyone post island, nor did he. He took the whole Gambit clusterfuck as a punishment for his sins, and cheating on his girlfriend with her sister among a legion of others was certainly one of them. So, post-island Oliver is no cheater IMO, regardless of who he is in a relationship with. He is just nowhere close to as happy, content and fulfilled as he is with Felicity. I don't even see him cheating on Laurel. Just running away to hellish places.

Duh. Total brain freeze. Thanks.

Have we seen anything indicatink EK has been on set, even hanging out with the cast? I was just in the social media thread and people are talking about the promo department pretending like everyone but a select few are dead when we know they're not. Then I realized I'm really not sure whether I've seen anything confirming Curtis's continued presence on the show aside from that promo we know he shot.

I think he framed it as a conversation, but yes.

This talk of Thea and Roy reminds to SA's recent answer about his favorite sidekick. He said Roy, because Thea will always be Oliver's family no matter what. It could make sense with this speculation. Roy shows back up (and Oliver and the audience are reminded of what a good sidekick he was), and then Thea leaves with him, but not before she, Oliver or the both of them proclaim that they'll always be family, no matter what. I don't see that happening so early on in the season unless WH's 13 episode count got reduced to, like, 3. And if she wakes up in 607, she could be recuperating during the crossover. It would make more sense than last year when she could barely be bothered to help when Oliver was kidnapped and the team was really pared down, but then went, whee, aliens for the corssover. I'm still rooting for her coma to be medically induced. It would explain why Oliver isn't wringing his hands impotently since her life wouldn't be in danger, but it would simply be a waiting game until she wakes up.

Thanks. Is the same thing happening with reddit spoilers in Spoilers Only? I can't see those either.
