I'm most looking forward to the updates of this one and the one in which Felicity was away in Gotham for a few years and then came back for not so baby anymore Sara's birthday, only to remain and help with the current SC psycho. The name escapes me at the moment but it's also very good. Although, since it follows canon to up to sometime in S4, no Moira unlike The Darkest Hour. Seriously, Moira is my jam in fics at the moment. FiCoN started to lose focus some chapters back, but Moira is always damn on point when she shows up.

New chapter of The Darkest Hour is up. http://archiveofourown.org/works/5722732/chapters/14430202 Isn't this an alternative version of Oliver's second year back to SC? I remember it being stated, yet in this chapter he mentions the five years since he's been back. Maybe the author made an error? The group which planned the Undertaking on the show wasn't called the Cadre, was it? There seem to be some overlaps, but there is some original stuff in there as well. Moira is so close to my own perception of her character that I find it delightful, the way she begrudgingly admires Felicity when she's a threat feels true to Moira's core. Best line of the chapter, Feliciy to Oliver after he says he's fine, he's only been grazed, By a bullet, you idiot. I was snickering right along with Dig. The Jin character introduced late in the chapter is intriguing. I'm almost sad he's an original character and not someone from the show.

What's the difference between the Justice Society and the Justice League? Did I just look down the rabbit's hole?

So there's the explanation why Malcolm still has a sling.

I have a friend who constanly spoils things. She tells me about the movie she's seen and she presents the entire plot, start to finish. I've stopped trying to get her to stop because I don't think she does it on purpose. Luckily, we don't have similar tastes.

What does "full blue" on the 4x21 title page refer to? Bottom right, above March 17.

I just assumed it was from making the pilot and they were trying on wigs and beards.

Thanks for the laugh.

I was just typing that. *shakes fist*

Since KC is on record saying that Tommy took advantage of Laurel, I feel a lot of it had to do with her choices. Would Sara really have hooked up with Oliver when she did if she didn't feel rejected by Laurel? I'm not saying it's impossible, but I am heavily leaning towards no. And while the no kill rule is extreme, I am a fan of Tommy having such a great impact on Oliver and significantly shaping his whole journey from then on.

I know. I love it. KC posted this on Facebook. I think it's from the filming of 4x14. It looks like the coat Felicity had on when they evacuated the building where the debate was held.

I find this really impressive, even if it's a huge turnabout for KC. I readily support the current interpretation.

The latter part just seems crazy.

I appreciate Cupid's dedication to keeping to her theme by arranging couple in a heart shape. I am also vindicated by the fact that she kind of looks down on GA. The Arrow was edgier and definitely more her type.

It's that it was phrased like she vaguely remembered the movie being set at the time period, not that it was a real event that happened at that time.

Curtis should be featured more. Felicity, Donna and Thea are held at PT and Curtis is working with the team in the lair. Plus, I think it was SA who said he, DR and PB kept cracking up in their scenes with him. So there's that and Felicity facing off with her nemesis. The potential for humor is there. Also, Donna is in the episode.

I didn't even pay attention to it until you pointed it out. I can only remember Felicity's comment about Oliver spending his nights in leather and tying people up. Nothing else I can recall would fall into the funy category.

Speaking off, one of my Facebook friends posted a video of dresses throughout history with the comment that she liked the style of dress from Titanic (the movie) which she thinks took place somewhere in the early 20th century. Thinks. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry. There was the centennial just a few years ago!

I think you're right. It feels like it's during one of Olivers invites to Dig and Carly before she made Dig tell him what was up.

I actually honestly appreciate it. Not in a way that I want it to happen, but in a way that I recognize some thought went into it and it's not just tripe.

It's this and mismanagement of Darhk that are the weakest spots. They planted him and then didn't really know how to utilize him. That in turn hinders Oliver and the team, so the crime fighting aspect has pretty much been at a standstill so far. The BDM, while eyeroll inducing and apparently pointless seeing as it hung there for a few episodes and then fizzled out, is much less detrimental overall in my opinion.

He loses me straight off the bat since Oliver never cared for being a socialite or a businessman. And that was always shown on screen. They were fronts for the Hood and the Arrow, with his CEO role having the added bonus of trying to preserve his family legacy somewhat. But he very obiously was not attached to those roles.

It's a Bob Seger song. He didn't say which. Also, Lance's work-out music is The Smiths' Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now. He made me like Lance so much more with that tidbit.
