When did they mention using rubber bullets?
-
For what it's worth, he's wearing the same jacket when he runs down a street, confronts Chase in the rain (with his quiver strapped on), and when Malcolm comes into the bunker. So I'm leaning more towards @BkWurm1's theory.
-
And Curtis. He's also on Lian Yu.

They might try to do more shorter arcs without a big bad that dominates the entire season. If that's the case, I could see Helix being one such bad. But season long and without connecting them meaningfully to Oliver, no.

To be honest I was bored with the prison parts in this episode. So I missed Michael's reference about four years. Is that how long he's been Ogygia? Wasn't that also about the time Sara mentioned she didn't see Linc? Which I took to imply was around the time she remarried. It's interesting if true. It could mean that Michael managed to make some covert contact before that point. Not directly, so Sara didn't know nor suspect he was alive, but she felt his presence more or something of that ilk. wasn't Sid the one who shanked the guy in prison and not Whip? I was so glad that he did because he was the one I was most worried about during the prison riot. But good on Whip for dealing with Ramal. He's finally proven to be useful. It's funny considering he's supposed to have been with Michael the longest, yet he's the one from the new crew I least care about. It just goes to show that Michael should be directed to people he's got more meaningful connections. It was the hug with Linc, the message last episode and him talking about Sara and Mike in this one that make his plan and journey meaningful. He's been working to get home for seven years and home is his family. I think odds are decent that the agent shot next to Kellerman's head. He certainly seemed like Kellerman got somewhat through to him when he left the house. As much as I think T-Bag should have been written off ages ago, I did enjoy his lesson in foreign policy from Kellerman. So this episode is marked not only by Sucre's absence, but Sara's as well? I agree with posters saying there is too much real world violence here. What got me most was the kid who helped Linc. Hey, thanks for the help, here's a box of Tic Tacs, be safe and have fun in the middle of a war zone. Linc obviously can't rescue all the children from Yemen, but that scene left a bitter taste in my mouth. Kudos on having a decent prison guard there, too bad he ended up dead.

I was hoping that Darhk and his wife would mirror Oliver and Felicity last year and that was dead in the water. I'm not getting my hopes up easily again.

I am very jealous of Dinah's hair. Speaking of, EK's wig has seen better days.

That's a great conclusion about him being Chase being in the offices above ground. Bahahaha. I've just finished watching The IT Crowd and this is extra funny. Yeah, I do think it's back up. She has a prototype implant. Something could have happened even without villainous intervention. It's a crazy world, with all the callbacks. Two to the failed wedding in 519, now awareness of the precautious state of felicity's recovery in 520.

MG posted the script page from 510 with the scene where Felicity ices her hand after punching out BS. Also, some non-spoilery asks and answers that made me laugh. The show is already giving Dinah enough lame tough-girl lines. Good to know they could be worse, I guess.
-
Oh, it's definitely in the it's funny because it's true category.
-
Agreed. Also, someone on Twitter described the episode not being so much Team Arrow vs. Team Felicity, as it was Felicity vs. Lyla with Oliver and Dig confused on the sidelines. It made me laugh.
-
One of the little moments that made me laugh was Selina referring to one of Mike's babies as IT. Say bye bye. -It doesn't have to say bye. That's going to be grandma of the year right there. Speaking of Mike's kids, I feel like the odds of his daughter playing hide and seek while Helen was getting acquainted with the First Chubby are uncomfortably high.

It makes sense. I guess I just wondered how long Chase might be an immediate concern. Not too long, I think.

It's very, very hard not to get too excited for next week with this promo. I mean, there's Felicity crawling over to zoned out Oliver and Oliver God damned parkouring down that elevator shaft. Set me on fire, why don't you. With Chase actually being there, do you think the story will be that he got out before the explosion took everything out, or will his presence be an additional concern to Oliver and Felicity?
-
No way Felicity isn't walking by the end of the next episode. I'm absolutely certain of that.

Even with Chase actually being in the bunker, I don't trust Helix as far as I can throw them. For one, Alena got over killing a person awfully easily and then proceeded to get guns for hire with a smile on her face. Plus, she armored that thing back up to shoot at Dig. I can't imagine Felicity being thrilled about it when she finds out.
-
I'm confused. There's all this talk about trackers and not about how Oliver trying to talk Felicity out of aligning with Helix turned into a lovey dovey "this is why I fell in love with you" thing. Oh, my God. The underpinnings of that scene are really great. I didn't feel like it was simply a matter of Oliver putting Felicity on the pedestal, but entirely about him putting her in this position because of his actions. And Felicity is there, all this is where we are now, doesn't much matter how we got here. So in my eyes it reflected something elemental in both their characters - Oliver reflects on the past, often times way too much, and Felicity pushes forward, even if it can turn out to be detrimental. The Rene subplot really dragged the pace of the episode, but it's always got to be something. While I think he's super lame for not going to see his damn kid, I'll say that PB was excellent during the hugging scene and the kid playing the daughter is actually good. Better than some adults that have been on this show. Still don't think she should be on the show with Rene being a vigilante, although one taking an unexplained breather in this episode. Maybe Lance can babysit. He's always had a soft spot for daughters. Who is the killed woman brought up in this episode? Is she supposed to be someone important? I get that Oliver needed to be put in a tight spot, but the barrage of how come you didn't know this guy was a crazy psycho serial killer coming from the councilman and the reporters was ridiculous. Why would a mayor be able to spot that?
-
I still think Helix doublecrossed her somehow. Alena looked very guilty and remorseful in that video to me.
-
Those are Fyers' cages, right? With SA not having the wig and EK actually being on set, it looks like they come into play in the present. The team gets locked up in them? :(

According to EBR, they did a cover of "one of your favorite 2002 songs". https://www.instagram.com/p/BTXQ0Dplg4e/

There isn't a thing I don't like in that preview. Everything is brimming with potential. That was not how I expected Lyla and ARGUS to be involved in this plot, but it's genuinely interesting.
-
She's not strictly anti-killing, but killing a dude remotely without him immediately threatening someone doesn't seem her style, or something she'd approve of.
-
If Felicity suspects that, I do find it strange that she goes out in the field with them later in the episode. Maybe the dead guy was working with Chase in some capacity.
-
So, Kujo or somebody else at Helix killed that guy?
