  1. Probably not an accident her makeup business has the word DIRTY in it!
  2. I wondered if Pnina was disappointed that Emanuela chose one of her "cheaper" gowns and also the consultant (I'm blanking on who it was) who earned a smaller commission.
  3. The article I read said she had “family members” working for her. Daddy might be the Numbers Man and she said she “doesn’t do math” as another way of saying she’s so successful she doesn’t have to worry about minor details like the cost of a Pnina. That could also explain why her sister was okay her being Daddy’s Favorite, the whole family knows she’s their cash cow.
  4. I know, she "ugly cried" through the entire original episode. (I think it was all fake)
  5. My theory is that her father wasn't too worried about the cost of the wedding gown because she was paying for it herself and the whole "Daddy's Girl Gets Whatever She Wants" storyline was a fake. Also, I couldn't help but notice on the program and in her online photos, she was wearing quite a large diamond engagement ring. Again, I suspect she bought it herself because her fiance's profession is listed as "personal trainer."
  6. It seems Emanuela is the CEO of a small but very successful cosmetics company: http://newyork.cbslocal.com/2018/02/14/small-business-spotlight-dirty-little-secret-cosmetics/?platform=hootsuite On her Facebook page, she's saying that all the hate she's getting there is good publicity for the company.
  7. Marlena definitely mentioned having a baby. I couldn’t take my eyes off of Emanuela’s greasy tanned leather complexion and jiggly boobs. I hope people don’t think she’s a typical Jersey Girl because the vast majority of us are perfectly normal and consider the Snooki types an embarrassment. edited to add, here’s her wedding website. Keep it classy! https://www.theknot.com/us/emanuela-defalco-and-robert-arreaga-may-2018
  8. I only caught part of the show, but I found those rotten teeth closeups more disturbing than any of Dr. Now’s graphic weight loss surgeries.
  9. and of course, the requisite vegetable chopping scene at the end when they are preparing to "entertain." I believe at some point upthread somebody created a Bingo game based on "Shenanigans"
  10. Don't forget "climb into tub or shower fully clothed to see if you fit" and discussion of whether or not the dog will be happy in yard.
  11. Yeah, that made me go Hmmm. Her emotion for Randy does seem genuine to me, though. I wonder if fans of the show wanted to see a follow up with her and kept asking so they figured out a way to insert her to give an update. (Gawd, i'm so cynical!) Because we certainly didn't get the full episode treatment for her friend. They could've been strangers, ie maybe that lady was an actress. Or does she just want an excuse to be on camera again? I kind of doubt if viewers were clamoring for an update especially after her backstory was exposed as possibly fraudulent. Personally, there are many other brides I'd be interested in seeing a follow up about. And I absolutely agree that her shopping friend could have just been a "plant."
  12. Yes, Angola bride spent $ 200K to dress her wedding party and apparently the episode caused a huge uproar in the country last year after it aired: https://life.spectator.co.uk/2017/03/frock-rocked-nation/
  13. I see the controversial "Wounded Warrior" bride, Alicia, was back on tonight 7 months pregnant. She was on the show TWO YEARS ago when they gifted her a dream wedding gown but she still hasn't gotten married and said the pregnancy postponed the wedding?
  14. re: Consultant Lisa's top. Watching a rerun episode the other day I noticed she was wearing a black off-the-shoulder top when she was working with the bride getting married on short notice at the top of the Empire State Building last season. It was another preposterous storyline where Randy offered to officiate at the wedding, Pnina offered herself as her attendant, and many of the Kleinfeld's crew were there as witnesses. Sure...
  15. or dragging it in the wet sand along the beach like "Rain" did at the amusement park before riding the slingshot.
  16. It seems that now the only way to get on the show is to have one or more of the following: ridiculous venue sob story celebrity connection huge opinionated entourage stupid manufactured drama unlimited Pnina budget Did I miss any? No more likable, reasonable brides with a realistic budget, shopping with their mother and perhaps one other friend, having a traditional wedding, and wanting to look CLASSY and timeless on their wedding day.
  17. No no, auntjess, don't make yourself crazy or subject yourself to more shower scenes or watching a bed bound woman eat enormous amounts of fast food. I'm sure you're right about the drug seeking woman
  18. Yes indeed, Steven Assanti did ask for pain meds. Many times, at many different ERs. Remember Dr. Now confronting him with the list? While I’m sure there were other addicts featured, I think he was by far the worst.
  19. I remember it coming up with someone, but can't remember who. I'm pretty sure it was a woman, but then maybe there were several. When they said “addiction nightmare” all I could think of was Steven Assanti Ding! Ding! Ding! You win an extra large pizza!
  20. I was also confused by the travel time to Houston from the episode. The first night they pulled into a motel in “Harrisburg.” The city in PA is only about three hours from Forked River so I figured they meant the Harrisburg in VIRGINIA. The next night, based on the EMTs’ shirts, they stayed in the Roanoke VA area which appears to be only two hours from Harrisburg, VA (or 4 1/2 hours from H’burg PA which also doesn’t make sense because why would they travel due West instead of a diagonal route?) Then, the very next day, they appeared to arrive in Houston which is at least a 17 hour journey. Unless they edited out at least one other overnight stop along the way, it doesn’t add up to me. I’m also joining the posters who suspect some creative timeline editing.
  21. https://starcasm.net/archives/385497 this article clarifies a few things
  22. When he retires, he could set up a "Guess Your Weight" booth at the Texas state fair!
