  1. I was just coming here to say the same thing! I hope Robert's weight loss surgery is more successful than our rotund former Governor's. Come on, Robert, make Jersey Proud!
  2. I think you're right about Lisa recently wearing the black off the shoulder top, not very professional or flattering, IMO. I also think she looks better with her hair down instead of slicked back in that tight bun.
  3. I thought the fashion designer hiding behind the sunglasses and Pharrell Williams hat looked like she was wearing a bathrobe. I looked up Cat Cora's bio, it appears she was married to another woman for two years after being with her for twenty. They had four sons together, something about IVF with each of them carrying the sperm donor fertilized egg of their partner twice. She was divorced in 2015 and only started the relationship with Nicole in 2017.
  4. After watching tonight's episode (Cat Cora/Sling Shot Bride) it seems that Kleinfeld's has changed their "all black" dress code for consultants. Debbie was wearing a white sweater and Lisa was wearing a black and white smocked tablecloth looking off the shoulder top, both with black pants, so I guess "black and white" is now acceptable (maybe just for when they're filmed?)
  5. Of course not, waste of a perfectly good pizza roll!
  6. I wonder if Amy's legal firm ads are featured on late night TV in Arizona and are as cheesy as they ones I see here in the NY metro area with smarmy lawyers claiming they can get you millions for your accident. Maybe it's twin Emily's turn for a "starring role" on SYTTD. So far, she's only been a sidekick on her ditzy sister's wedding gown quest. Her own wedding wasn't featured on the show, but perhaps it's time for the drama of her selecting a vow renewal gown?
  7. I only recalled the original wedding gown episode and then the vow renewal episode, however it seems the twins were also featured in a couple of those clip shows. I looked around and found this info (bolding mine): Reality TV & Acting Roles Amy Pokora is well known for her recurring role on the TLC channel’s hit show Say Yes to the Dress. Over the past few years, Amy has filmed on many occasions in NYC, Arizona, and even Puerto Rico! She stars in 4 episodes, and has also been featured on the spinoff series Randy Knows Best as a Top 10 bride. Here's more info than you probably want to know: http://www.lewisandpokora.com/firm-news/attorney-amy-pokoras-appearance-on-say-yes-to-the-dress/
  8. Some of them don't have any intention of even STANDING! Why would L.B.'s dropping out of High School be disappointing to anyone? If someone was told from childhood that he was destined to become the next Florn King and inherit the family business (whether he wanted to or not) why would he need more than the basic skills related to the job? It appears he can live a very comfortable life financially without any more "edumacation." Edited to add: It always bothers me when parents decide a child's future for them. Imagine when L.B. was asked "what do you want to be when you grow up?" and instead of most little boys who answer things like "a fireman, or a doctor, or a policeman" he had to say "Ahm goin' to be in the florn business lak mah Daddy." My daughter works with a woman who has two sons, both of whom have been groomed from birth to be Catholic PRIESTS regardless of whether or not they have "the calling."
  9. Aren’t the bleached blonde bimbo attorney twins Emily and Amy? Marlo and Margo were on tonight (and last week and the week before) and they’re not blondes. Both sets of twins were on before and are all pretty insufferable.
  10. Good ones, especially the creepy Dad who wants you to display the boobs he bought you for graduation.
  11. If chosen to be on the show, I promise to bring along: my bitter opinionated single sister, my precocious (bratty) ten year old daughter, my bitchy gay best friend who knows exactly how HE thinks I should look on my wedding day, my obnoxious sorority sister who doesn't think my budget is high enough, my future mother-in-law who knows how her son wants me to look, my wedding planner who just wants to be on TV, or all or any combination of the above. Did I miss anyone?
  12. Please have your friend's daughter utter the magic words "Pnina Tornai" just to see if it summons Pnina herself from a back room somewhere, ready to personally help her find the perfect gown
  13. After watching all the new episodes, I can't find one single LIKABLE Bride in the whole bunch! Circus Bride and Ambushed Nanny were probably the least annoying, I found the rest insufferable edited to add: I just re-watched Courtney, the blonde airhead from TX who had no idea what she wanted. I counted, she used the phrase "I don't know..." FIFTEEN times and said the word "like" 29 times! You could tell Antonella was ready to strangle her by the end of the appointment when she left without saying Yes to any dress.
  14. Look what showed up as something I might like on my Facebook feed today: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Personal-Hygiene-Wipe/35333930 guess I should clear my browsing history more often! doesn't get very good reviews...
  15. Still hideous. And an embarrassment. I agree. Not much of an improvement in white! I think Randy was nipping at the Brandi when he designed that one!
  16. And why does it have to be BLUE? What's wrong with a white dress that you could order in blue or another color if you wanted? I thought the veil was the worst, it looked like the window curtain I used to "play bride" with when I was seven.
  17. I was thinking the whole time that Randy’s bringing out his Big Blue Monstrosity was just an excuse to “fake sell” it someone.
  18. How can you "elope" when you're already married? I've seen it done the other way, a couple gets secretly (or at least privately) married, then later they have another ceremony/reception for family and friends. Paris Bride had a full wedding and reception (presumably wearing a non-Kleinfeld's gown) in New Orleans then she went to Paris to stage a "fake" wedding which amounted to a photo shoot with the Eiffel Tower in the background. And just how long was she wearing that $ 10K dress? Did she at least keep it on to go out to dinner? I think TLC was just looking for an excuse to send a camera crew to Paris and this bride was more than willing to go along with the idea (even if she paid for the dress herself). I would be more forgiving if she had worn the Kleinfeld dress for both venues.
  19. Whatever happened to having your wedding near home with friends and family-as big and splashy as you want-then going to Paris for your HONEYMOON? Take your gown along if you want to be photographed in it. Even take your Wedding Planner if you can’t make a couple of reservations and dress yourself. I thought the same thing about the Glacier Bride.
  20. Sad to say, but I think I have to put Liz's weight loss "Journey" at the top of my list of FORGETTABLE episodes. She wasn't whiny or dramatic enough to snark on and her attitude didn't inspire me to "root" for her. It was just a dull TWO HOURS of hearing the same stories and seeing situations they've shown over and over again, meanwhile she's sitting in bed where losing 300 pounds wasn't evident. Here it is Friday and there's only two pages of discussion about the episode.
  21. Please, God, someone needs to make this happen! I'm so tired of seeing these people's asses! I looked around the internet and found several websites devoted to underwear for the super obese. One of them, "On the Plus Side," goes up to size 8X. I have no idea what Janine's measurements are, but here's their size chart: https://www.ontheplusside.com/size
  22. I think she made it herself. With her design background, you may be right. If that's the case, she could start a cottage industry making underwear sets for the morbidly obese.
