I'm in Dallas, so plenty of big city options. Perhaps seafood? Or something typically "Californian"?

Anyone have recommendations for Los Angeles? I'll be there on a 2 day, 1 night trip next week, and am saying at a hotel near LAX (not opposed to driving a while for a fun meal though!).

Finally got the chance to watch the finale after it was pulled/ reposted. I agree with many of the above comments - fun cast which made for a fun season, but mediocre challenges kept it from being the best. Looking forward to next year!

Sunday was green peppers stuffed with beef (mixed with some breadcrumbs, eggs, sour cream and seasonings), though a blend of beef and pork would have probably been more flavorful. Served with pasta and salad. Monday was eggs and toast, quick and easy!

I was wondering in the money clock challenge if maybe the Mole was Taeke, and he was trying to throw them off the scent by being the big winner in one game? Nope!

I'm thinking the mole is a man as well, and even if I wasn't, I would have ruled out Ellie after this episode -- too much obvious sabotage and clunky game play!

My brief moment of potentially playing for first came to a swift end -- thanks, Drew Brees.... Fighting it out for 3rd instead! Thanks for another fun year of Hateball, hateballers! And happy holidays everybody!

We had sausage tortellini, which were surprisingly bland when I tried one to make sure they were done but reasonable once we ate them with sauce. Salad and bread on the side.

To jump back to the previous conversation, I get Southern Living and Time. Both were gift subscriptions. And no, no Star Wars tickets in advance here. I'm sure I'll get around to seeing it over the holidays at some point.

Is it too much to hope one of the episodes could focus on Rory's 30th Birthday Party, so you could end up with a trifecta of major birthday episodes (16, 21 and 30)?

Having just finished Season 3, I'd agree it was just not as strong as the first 2 seasons, but still a pretty solid outing, with a couple of pretty good episodes. I'll watch the future movie, and if there's a season 4, I'll watch that too! "Death and Hysteria" and the tennis one were my favorites, I'd recommend those.

The Martian was great! A really solid adaptation of the book. And yes, good trailers too...

I saw this Saturday and thoroughly enjoyed it! Great casting, smart adaptation. In terms of the trip to Ares IV, we were speculating after the film (spoiler from the book)

Zucchini casserole (chunks of zucchini baked with olive oil, bread crumbs, Parmesan and a little garlic), broccoli, and pears -- I stocked up on produce at the farmer's market last weekend and am close to finishing it all.

I've realized I'm more of an Astros fan (yay hometown roots) as I've been so sour about them falling out of first place in the division. Its easy to be a fan of both when they're both bad, or when one's good and one's bad!

As a Houston native but current Dallas resident, its a stressful week for me! Or couple of days, depending on how things go.

Will definitely see The Martian, the book was great too and I highly recommend it! Hopefully the movie will be just as good.
