  1. Poor George. He has terrible luck with the ladies.
  2. I like this new, non-self-sabotaging Wade. I'd like to keep him. (In my bedroom, zing!)
  3. Oh, Zoe. Someday you will realize that all of your instincts are wrong.
  4. Investigator travels to a small town to look into a mysterious disappearance on the night of the full moon.
  5. Agreed. I loved how serious she was about it. "Have fun? This is work. I'm working on myself." The best. He just doesn't even seem conflicted about the Nina thing anymore. Just loves her and is going to stay with his wife anyway. It's only because Noah Emmerich is so great that I don't hate Stan completely.
  6. So many great threads in this episode. I teared up at the scene with Elizabeth and Jared, but I'm glad she burned that letter, honestly. I don't think the good it would do him (having some answers?) outweighs the bad (feeling like his parents were traitors to his country, putting others in danger). I liked the Obviously Spy Teen Paige met on the train, and the fake Great Aunt. Nice job, Center. I feel like eventually, Elizabeth and Philip will have to tell her that they are actually American agents. Something that will satisfy her, keep her quiet, and not put them in danger. Other pros: No Martha! Closing montage to great '80s song! Philip being the Bad Cop with Paige for once (also, he was legit scary in that scene). Excellent wigs Cons: Stan, you are gross. Leave your wife, please. Oleg, stop invading Nina's space when she doesn't want you there (even though I think you're v. cute)
  7. I agree. I realized during the graveside scene in the S2 finale that he's really doing the hard work. Cumberbatch gets to have all the quirks and be a weirdo jerk, but Freeman does the emotional work, and Watson is the reason we care about any of this stuff.
  8. I think the loss of Rebekah will have a major impact on the dynamic of the show, and I don't think in a good way. But who knows? Maybe another show about two brothers is just what The CW needs.
  9. Maybe the toughest of all Starks. Good place to link to one of my favorite Tumblr posts.
  10. Oh, also he's a crow and a bastard, in case you hadn't heard.
  11. Yep, that's it! (You didn't miss the guess--I edited it out because I re-thought and it didn't seem right.)
  12. Tara, my initial guess for that that I edited was , but I don't think that's it. Dim Bulb sitcom follows a cynical bachelor who moves in with his aunt and cousins after their father passes away, and continues his womanizing ways despite the chiding of his coupled friends.
  13. OK, this is a long-shot, but
  14. Hmm, never mind, I don't think that fits.
  15. Correct! This non-French peanuts thing is making me crazy, by the way.
  16. Your Parker hate gives me life, guys. You can't avoid dating overlap on most TV shows, so it's not that I think they should stick to the Girl Code or Bro Code. But those are cliches for a reason--because those feelings are pretty universal. So, in fiction, how the Interloper and Ex treat this situation will affect how I feel about them. And I hate the way both Parker and Logan handle this, because it feels like they both put it on Veronica to make it OK for them. When in reality, they both know she's not comfortable with it and that it does have potential to hurt her. In Logan's defense, Veronica broke up with him, so the onus is really on her to let him go. But he asks her permission anyway, and it should be obvious to him that she's lying when she says it's fine. As for Parker: she knows Veronica is avoiding her for this specific reason. So she basically corners V into giving the polite, kind response, and that is a crappy move, if Parker actually cares about her as a friend. I don't think she does. I think she shows here that she would choose the chance to date Logan over staying friends with Veronica, if it came down to it.
  17. It seemed like they wanted Logan to have done something blatantly awful, like cheat on Veronica, but then couldn't bring themselves to do that kind of damage to his character, so instead they had him sleep with Madison and then had Veronica overreact about it. It just doesn't ring true. I totally agree that Logan, Duncan, and Dick were all WAY more at fault for what happened to Veronica that night than Madison was. So maybe this is just misplaced anger at them, or at Cassidy, or about the rape in general (which we really never saw her address, post-S2 finale). It's easy to hate Madison. And yeah, I can imagine needing a break from my boyfriend if I found out he slept with my mortal enemy recently, but "never" forgiving him? It doesn't make sense. Oh well, I take that overreaction as another sign that Veronica and Logan aren't at the right place individually to be together at this stage.
  18. Right, we (as a society) really don't need to spend much more time criticizing and questioning victims and allies. So it fits with the tone of the show, but it still kind of sucks in general, and I wish they'd done a better job of balancing the scales sometimes.
  19. Yeah, Piz is so passive-aggressive and selfish. He's apparently the perfect boyfriend (according to the movie trailer) compared to Logan. But actually, Piz is maybe the perfect boyfriend for someone else, but he's not great for Veronica. He starts out as a classic Nice Guy, acting all offended that she dared to have a boyfriend and then that she dared to get back together with that boyfriend. And then when they get together, he prioritizes living near her over his dream job, and is put out when she doesn't do the same. As you said, Logan would have understood, because he and Veronica are similar in that way. They need to be able to maintain their individuality in their relationships, where you get the sense Piz and Parker want something different from them.
  20. Appreciate your Parker rant, as I am also not a fan. I definitely don't think it was intended to come across this way, but this is one of a few instances where I honestly thought Parker was being kind of spiteful/vindictive, just because of how poorly she handled the Logan situation w/r/t Veronica at every turn.
  21. I see what you're saying about that scene, but I think it's sort of played that way ironically. It feels like the viewer is first supposed to be sort of happy this a-hole is getting a taste of his own medicine, but then quickly become uncomfortable with the level of violence Aaron displays. The way Logan and Veronica sort of approve of it is, in my opinion, meant to be sort of squirm-inducing. They didn't see the whole scene, so all they know is that Aaron beat this guy up, but they don't really see the extent of it or the relentlessness of the attack. They see it as him protecting his daughter. From Logan's perspective, it makes total sense that he would approve of this. He does it himself when he thinks he needs to, because he's learned violence from Aaron. For Veronica, it's a little trickier for me. She heard Trina talk about Logan's "stories" about Aaron's abuse, so she has that in the back of her mind. At the same time, she always wants perfect justice, and sometimes that can be ugly. I think it's kind of telling that in this particular instance, she's less grossed out by how violent Aaron is than she is satisfied that Dylan got what was coming to him.
  22. 20-something moves to New York in search of her biological parents, but instead ends up traveling back to 1973 and becoming a cop.
