why would he go mad? of loneliness....no more surprises. he knows everything. of what will, what has, and is gonna be. and no matter what he does, he will already know....it is a paradox of sorts. that's why. and the only way out of it is to end it. chuck said it was "his story". i think he wants to end his story and give her sister a chance....but keeping in tact his creation. a takeover of sorts, not to wipe everything clean, but to take over as god. and i think chuck saw amara's fasciantion with dean and he will be the key for amara to see the beauty of his creations and keep it as is. i think the finale will be amara being the new god (why not, she is on god's level) and chuck being killed under lucifer's hands after chuck and amara reconcile...which would bring the world back into its balance of god vs devil....making lucifer a true villain in amara's eyes. but i still think the dog is god, not chuck.
-
well, imagine being immortal all knowing, all powerful, and knowing every possible outcomes a trillion times over, all possibilities, you'd go mad. each has a role to play, even god. without a lucifer to play the bad, there will be no god to play the good........in a sense, he would just be a regular joe, a chuck, lol....with great powers. would anyone really need a god if everything goes well for them and there is no evil thwarting our paths? which is why i agree with what chuck said, lucifer wasn't a villain...he was given by god to play a role to fulfill. whether lucifer liked it or not..........
-
i'm gonna spread this like wild fire...chuck is an avatar/bodyguard of god. the real god is the dog. why was the dog in the bar? lol. god=dog
-
"it's her time to shine" chuck said that about amara. he is writing his autobiography. is he trying to groom amara for the role of god? dean is the key (why wouldn't he be? look at that butt). she wants to destroy his creation but for some reason, she finds one of his creations fascinating. a female god (i know god is neither and is silly, but the metaphor in the show regarding brother and sister, this would make it a she) my guess, great battle, some drama from chuck of trying to redeem amara the way he tried to redeem metatron. there will be drama, amara sees the beauty of his brother's creation.......and just as there is "all is right in the universe", lucifer kills chuck and amara flails him back to hell (not killing him as she has now learned the lesson of appreciating all of his brother's creations) having read some of the comments , of course it has to be metatron, and not cas, for chuck to have this one on one with. first of all, metatron is the one that needs redeeming, not cas. second, metatron understands the human perspective, cas does not. i don't remember metatron's antics (it was that forgettable), but i think it his whole angs was against the angels and not humanity. anyhoo.

i don't normally re-watch eps, but this one was an exception. it was that good to me. having said that....of course chuck is a good god fit.....but he just might be an avatar god created. seems to me if they really want to bait or go deeper, i think the dog is is god...get it? watch the dog scenes. the dog approaches metatron, he offers the dog compassion, and god offers metatron redemption in return. watch the dog reaction to chuck flailing metatron acorss the room, like it was unexpected. like his avatar/guard reacted to metatron disrespecting his master. the dog was always there. why was the dog there in the bar? dog = god (get it? palindrome). that would make for a hilarious yet fitting role. a reveal yet not a reveal.

oh. forgot to mention. kind of makes you wonder. this was an elaborate "big move" from amara. perhaps lucifer had a hand in it, knowing exactly what it will take to draw god out. and in a way, it did draw god out...in a big way. saving not just dean and sam again, but an entire town ..plus finally making an appearance after being MIA for thousands of years. let's take a survey..which reveal was better for you this week? game of thrones or supernatural? both of which was not really a surprise.
-
yup. pretty much. chuck and meta stole the episode and it was quite the loot they got away with. sam and dean were an afterthought. having said that, i'd still watch dean's butt every wednesday hoping for a glimpse, lol.
-
wait. some of you were shocked with chuck being god? that had been widely hinted at for a while now and practically confirmed during that school girl musical play about sam and dean. and about the whole lonely thing.....ummmm, if i were immortal and all knowing and knew every possible outcomes of life from beginning to end a billion times over, i'd not only be lonely and bored, but i'd probably go insane. chuck made an unintentional point to metatron when explaining this...why should he care? he's seen it all, experienced it all, seen what they've done and will do.....to chuck, it's boring. this whole god and amara thing. this is nothing more than an analogy of two sibling rivalry. you know how it is when your brother or sister gets a new toy and you get jealous and sometimes to break it just so he can't play with it anymore? only on a grander scale. heartbreaking when chuck said to metraton....."you're nothing special". wow. and metatron's reaction. double wow. this whole arc is about family. god being a father to his creation. and the sibling squabbles between sister and brother (amara and chuck) petty, but oh so human. -----still wish they'd bring back death----why not just use the scythe that killed death kill amara? it has been mentioned that death is equal if not more powerful than god and death even implied that perhaps someday, he will harvest god too. all in all, great writing. great acting by chuck and metatron. now the only question is, will the show kill god? cause that was one hell of requiem he gave at the end.

wow. this was some "god" damn good writing. i didn't think supernatural was capable of this level of writing. to be honest, i watch this show for the eye candy that is dean winchester......"butt" his cute little behind took a "back" seat in this episode. the exchange between chuck and metatron was really good. chuck displaying the stages one goes through when one knows they are about to die. subtle hints of chuck being torn (which is why the book keeps changing), undecided on whether to save his creation or himself....and in that same process, redeeming metatron....intentionally or unintentionally, that is the magic of the writing. ****okay, so duct tape can't do everything...it can't stop the darkness from spreading, lol***** back to the writing. wow. great reveal episode for the long awaited "god". i skipped the episode when it aired last night and just watched it on hulu now, cause quite frankly, the show has been "meh". but wow. whoever wrote this episode poured their heart out on this. at first i thought it was gonna be something cheesy, like chuck recruiting metatron to help him fight his sister.....nope. it was a farewell of sorts. he needed a push to help him decide on something he was wavering on. the irony of it. just as he professes that lucifer is not a villain, which is true in itself. we all have a role to play. he gave that role to his favorite angel, an important role. what is great about the greatness of light and goodness if there is nothing to contrast it to? so he gave that job to lucifer to have his greatness and light be recognized. something to compare to. and explaining in a subtext that amara is not something to contrast that light and goodness...she simply is "nothingness". not good, not evil....just nothing. and the song at the end. the farewell song. bravo to the writing. almost puts game of thrones to shame.....almost because it's just one episode out of something like 10+ seasons. game of thrones had been consistently good throughout its seasons. :)

i was hoping they would burn his body and then resurrect from fire....lol. i really was. i liked arya's acting.....the 3 temptations she was presented and passed. food, shelter, and her sight to entice her. i liked bran's acting in the opening, saying he was happy in that illusion...it was so sad when he said it. i guess i really liked the subtlety in the episode more than the "grand reveal"..which was the worst kept secret ever, lol. i liked the little nuggets...ned's sister. ghost always in the scene. tyrion and the dragons, further fueling the fact the he might be half targeryan (theory that the mad king raped the lannister mother, hence the difficult child birth and his deformity).

davos' loyalty is not too far fetch....or rather, it's more a jon thing than it is davos. although davos is portrayed as one of the more honorable characters in this show, seeing jon handle the wildlings and showing mercy towards the wildling king with the mercy killing.....it's no surprise. but like i said...it is more of a jon thing. thought the show was subtle about it, people seem to be drawn to him and "see something" in him. the prior lord commander giving him the valyrian steel sword....the rarest of rare heirlooms he gives to a practical stranger. melissandre saw something in him. the wildlings. the ginger wildling changed his tune about him. his night watch brigade. even stannis. it is a recurring theme with jon. he must have inherited it from his dad (am i'm not talking about ned, lol). oh yeah...aboutthe religious fanatics........this is one instance i wouldn't mind cersei going to town on the massacre. have fun with that cersei. i fully endorse it....lol.
-
give credit where credit is due. when bran said, "i was happy there" .....it was so sad how he said it. great acting in this episode by many casts. arya's scene....heartbreaking.
-
And another thing with the resurrection. the other priest, the way he did it, was kind of "incomplete" in a sense that every resurrection repeated, they lose a part of themselves (the one resurrected)......so what makes jon different? in a way, if melissandra did it the same way/method, she did heal the body. but "IF" jon did warg out from pure instinct, then the ritual healed jon's body but it was not a resurrection of sorts since the spirit was not "forcefully away" in a sense of death. so none of jon's original essence is lost due to the warging melissandra simply healed the body so that when the spirit returns to the vessel, it does not "die". a warged spirit returning to a dead body....dies. but again, if mel healed the body to ready it for the warging return, then it is tehnicaly different. to be honest, i was kind of really, really hoping that they would get to the burning of jon's body before he resurrected. so that he will rise from the fire and complete the whole azor ahai along with melissandra's lord of light vision thing. that would have made it even perfect and dramatic. anyhoo, its just a theory.
-
well, i said "might", but yes and no on setting it up. i think warging is more instinct and u do it on something or someone u have a deep connection with to start off. with bran, it's hodor. with jon, it would naturally be with ghost, something that will be receptive to him. distance wise, not that far fetch. that one wildling warged into an eagle way above the sky. ghost is within the vicinity......putting ghost near jon during the stabbing would have completely given the book readers a huge hint as to ghost's importance and taken away the possibility that jon is really dead. they had to do it for marketing purposes, as poor as it was. maybe g martin "might" not have liked it if i had to guess, but the moneybags (hbo) will always prevail in that argument, if any.
-
wow. many of you actually thought he was dead? he was on set all year last year...that can't be all flashbacks. it would appear my theory "might" be right. i think jon accidentally warged into ghost during the stabbings as a reflex to save his life and melissadra inadvertantly brought him back to his body with her ritual not knowing he is a warg. notice how in ep 1 and 2 they focus a lot on ghost. he is a warg. tehnically, he died with all those stabbings and is no longer bound by his night watch oath. so he is free to pursue the north and deal with the coming war. loving that this season, everything will be new since the show is for once ahead of the books. loving the flashback featuring lillynette. loving tyrion addressing the dragons. all these ties into the prophecy in some way, shape and form in the upcoming war. it's all jumbled right now but when it all comes to fruition, it will be beautiful.
-
i must admit. this season, the guys have been pretty hot...their asses, yum....greg, that big ass, oh my, lol. luv it. i think something "went on" there with greg and his partner when he was falling asleep and she was trying to prevent him from doing so due to hypothermia. he thanked her for "saving his life" for giving him heat his body can no longer generate. plus the vibe the next day was different.....like one of those, "we will not talk about this again".....but their team work has really skyrocketed after that night.

just started watching the show..... do the judges only have a limited amount of comments that they can use? there's no one else like you on this show i have to go with my gut on this one you got a difficult choice ahead of you. or some other random BS i hate that none of them are ever honest. they just feed these people with utter BS fluff that it gives them a false sense of accomplishment, when in actuality, some of them were not that good. anyhooo.....that one contestant really did sound like trisha yearwood that i had to do a double take. nice tone on that voice. seems like this show is nothing more than a betting contest between the judges and whoever wins gets a big bonus at the end of the year....and who cares what happens to the contestants. not very honest criticisms, quite disgusting, miley. great voice.. hard to believe she sounds like a 60 year old chain smoker when talking but sounds like an angel when she sings, lol.

oh lawd. the 3-22 show was one of bad ones....and kinda awkward. love lesbians and think most are funny, but these women were not. chris trying hard to make the show funny by over laughing. and the other woman being so awkwardly quiet, perhaps trying to differentiate herself as not a lesbian, lol.
-
anybody else catch that booty shot of chris hardwick on talking dead, near the end of the show? /drool.
-
darrel was right....don't use the train tracks. go the long way around.
-
i must confess....i laughed when that arrow shot threw denise giving that "moral lesson" speech. carol......NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! so i'm guessing the black jedi will go after carol. chris hardwick and the beard....yum. ;) hmmmm, i think we might have changed their minds about killing carol mid season......me thinks carol will go be the founder of another community and will probably ultimately be a great ally to rick's group.

watching it now...... amar and mentor....awkward much. i don't care how enlightened you think you are, you can't completely get rid of that angst. jeremy and his family.....he talked a lot about his mom, but not a peep about his dad. i wonder if there is some tension there or just editing for lack of time. amar.....dessert and risotto in top chef? game over. even if it is great, it's just a top chef jinx. ew......i luv jeremy as a sex object, but the sweat on the food as "jous".....makes me rethink about enjoying eating out. tom cooking....of course it was good. he was using the most delicious ingredients and not going through hoops and hurdles to cook them.....wagyu beef, uni, caviar........BS. amar talking crap about someone else's techniques, over and over again........i can see how he and his mentor had a falling out if that is how his ego was, is. is richard blais having an identity crisis? every appearance is like wtf. finale would have been better if jeremy/broman cooked naked...........just sayin'

just look at the flowers paula just look at the flowers

poorly written episode. i think the reason i hate the "i am woman hear me roar" shows is that they are usually so poorly written. so you expect me to believe that the neeganite biatch is so bad ass which is why she is a leader.....the woman who got sucker punched and was down a few minutes. compound that with the "other badass women" looked in horror.....huh?so these so called bad ass women in charge were shocked when the guy hit their leader and watched in shock while their hostages defend her....wtf? so this is the same woman who supposedly ook out her boss when she was a secretary? and countless others? and as the idiot guy pointed out, why didn't she just shoot carol and maggie if she is supposedly such a hardened post apocalypse badass? to make matters worse, the back story...ugh. so paula is so disgusted by carol's "weakness" ......but she decides to share her her life story? really? fair enough, sharing ones life story flashback just means you are about to die...so whatevs. paula is so bad ass that during her carol one on one, she has to cry.......the hardened bad ass who, by her account, killed more than double digits, start crying? ok then. i guess they had to somehow insert that coffee bean analogy to make it seem like the episode is deep to an extent.../facepalm. and the other neganite...."i'm so bad ass", but my finger got cut cause i got caught stealing a car cause i had to look for my boyfriend.......ok.......the bf, from her own account, was a dick. oh, and her interrogation tactics......."let's have girl talk" shouldn't you be torturing your prisoner for info instead of having a cup of tea chatting about babies? maggie, so sick of her. i hope neegan introduces her with the baseball bat.....but as all things go in this show, they like to keep the annoying characters. carol...the only redeeming part of this episode. is this the beginning of her mental breakdown? so many hints of her imminent death as the season finale.....so sad. how is it this woman does not have an emmy yet? as this bad episode has proven, she give it some sort of credibility.

god damn, carol...genius.
