Attention to my smart PTV members I need advice: My husband got an offer to relocate to New England and we currently live in Florida. We just found out that we need to move sooner than later and we’re scared that our home won’t sell in time. Could the film crew be liable for not helping the baby even though they signed contracts stating they won’t intervene? I would hope life or death trumps the “don’t intervene” claus? ? ETA: I just couldn’t imagine being made to watch an infant struggle for its life but to keep the film rolling because it’s part of “reality tv” and if the crew weren’t there that is the reality of what would have happened. We hear about it all the time how women that were abused by their husbands or boyfriends go through terrible depression or more mental breakdowns due to the abuse. I guess with gary being a male I never thought about the damage that the relationship may caused him. Sadly. Screw you Amber! I just don’t buy the Maci adoption storyline. These asshats (all cast members) always talk about how they’re going to do good deeds for the world to gain praise but it doesn’t make it to the next season. The bitch has said on video how having three kids has changed her life with all of the stress and that her and Taylor have awful drunken fights about their stressful lives. I swear to you, these people sit around behind the cameras writing a list of possible storylines and what will cause more attention, whether that’s positive attention or negative to help keep this show running. Maci is too sanctimonious to choose a plot that shows her in a bad light show she went with adoption with a sidekick of miscarriage thrown in since she saw how well people responded to Kailyn TM2 miscarriage. I don’t doubt the miscarriage happened or DID IT?? You see, a part of me feels like the miscarriage thing was just for a storyline and that Taylor was AGAINST it (maybe in fear of jinxing himself lol) and told Maci “that’s not morally good to pretend to have had a miscarriage for a storyline and I don’t want to use it - our families will think less of us to make up a story like that for attention” and Maci goes “but people believe we’re the boring couple and they fast forward our scenes this story will save our spot on the show!” Taylor says “don’t do it Maci!” Then Maci did it anyway at the restaurant. @mamadrama sadly, I feel like Amber only used that trauma to garner sympathy for why she fucked up in life when it most likely had nothing to do with it. I think farrah is downright rude to the producers, but at the same time they can be intensely annoying with the way that the pretend to be your close friend to get you to open up with the dirt. They have been known to go behind the cast members backs and give out secrets or to supply the teen moms and dads with pillses to calm them down (not confirmed, I read it on a blind item). I’m not siding with Farrah because we’ve witnessed her treatment to staff but if that’s really the true reasons for firing her then all the cast members should be fired. They didn’t even attempt to fire Matt for the sexually explicit way he talked to the producer in Vegas or how Amber tried to attack Farrah (Farrah is a member of staff also that Larry’s trying to protect). There was more to the firing than we will learn, for now anyway.

My feelings are that these Teen Mom cast members allowed MTV to come into their lives at a time when they were still figuring out what they wanted to do in life (life isn’t over because you have a child at 16) without a strong family support system to help guide them when the money and privacy invasion started coming in at full speed. Just think about it, most of these moms (& dads) would have at least gotten a fast food job or what not to gain positive work ethic or to learn a valuable skill that can be discovered whilst hands on with a job (before I got my degree I learned from working in retail that I would be good in public relations when I saw how I responded to people and how they felt about me) but how were they going to go apply at Pizza Hut while having their lives taped and receiving 300k? There was no reason to work these jobs and no other “dream job” or passion project would hire them without college or work skills. Chelsea finished a trade and had the family support to allow her to learn a way to find her footing in the real world just in case the TM checks ended. So the other teen moms feel a sense of worthlessness (even though being a wonderful parent would be extremely rewarding). With the backlash these people get for not working they either A. Pop out more babies to have a strong reason for not working outside of the home or B. manifest a strong mental illness to explain why they don’t work instead of just being honest with us in that they feel too good to work regular jobs but are embarrassed for not having better jobs that would bring in the money they’re making from the show - even though they know the show won’t last long - that’s when situational depression starts to occur, “I’m sad because I’m too lazy to go to school and sad that I someone won’t hand me over a reputable job making six figures without school!” They’re trapped in their TM franchise bubble and are seriously BORED in which they turned to pillses or alcohol to fill the void of having ZERO going on and are too lazy to just focus on their kids. I truly feel that most of them are using mental illness as a reason for not getting their shit together so they can just stay home and do nothing because doing nothing is a lot better than doing something at minimum wage. I might be talking out of my butt, or make no sense but whatever. Cate needs therapy due to her childhood but the girl is exaggerating somethings. Amber is a lazy piece of shit that jumped on mental illness because it’s easier to say she suffers with that instead of acknowledging she’s a bad mom that is too lazy and thinks the world revolves around her and that we are all stupid! Heck she even said the people issuing the GED test were stupid because their “grammar” didn’t make any sense instead thinking “hmmm, I need to study more!” Im jumping off the soapbox. Sorry. ETA: Kailyn continued to go to school for an excuse not to work but now has more babies so she can stay home after graduating lol.

Dang it, just when we got her leg humpers against her in Twitter she redeemed herself with some YouTube channel that she won’t put any effort into aside from attaching her Z list name and social media. If I’m going to watch someone advocate for the importance of not stigmatizing people for mental illness then I want someone that is taking advantage of all positive outlets to help control the illness, such as intense therapies while using tools learned. Normally I’d include meds but I don’t know what is allowed while pregnant but she could definitely she a reputable therapist - she’s LYING on Twitter stating she’s getting therapy. Prove it Jan!!! I feel bad for Taylor in that clip. He clearly spoke to her beforehand about not sharing that with the viewers and she went ahead and told the producer. It’s not just women that are affected by miscarriages as shown with Javi and many other men. I understand her wanting to share with viewers so people that can relate will feel less alone but this is something they BOTH should have agreed privately on whether to share it or not and to tell their families, first! Maci was drunk in that clip and looks like she KNEW Taylor didn’t want that made into a storyline but you get gutsy when you’re drunk. He probably fought with her on that at home. I feel bad for Maci and she should be allowed to discuss what she wants as it is her body but Taylor being her husband deserved to know beforehand and not be surprised on the spot in a PUBLIC RESTAURANT with a film crew. These type of topics are what’s going to DESTROY these families. Maci and the Edwards are at war over things discussed on TV and looks like Taylor felt betrayed. They need to end this show.
